Entorn del lèxic regional tarragoní

L'origen d'aquestes ratlles es troba en una replega de léxic duta a terme pels alumnes de l'assignatura «Lexicologia Catalana» durant el curs 83-84. La doble adjectivació del títol, «regional» i «tarragoní», no respon als objectius del treball sinó a la procedència de les dades i, val a dir-ho, dels propis investigadors en la majoria dels casos. Al mapa hom pot apreciar les localitats on hi ha hagut recerca, distribuïdes per comarques. Hom pot observar, així mateix, que aquesta «regió tarragonina» no coincideix amb la «província de Tarragona»: hi manca el Baix Penedés i s'afegeixen el Baix Maestrat (País Valencià) i el Matarranya (Aragó), zones, aquestes dues darreres, que mostren una gran afinitat lingüística amb les anomenades «comarques tarragonines». De tota manera, cal insistir que la delimitació de la zona ha estat feta a posteriori i el nom per a designar el lèxic replegat ha estat el més aproximat possible

La sociolingüística de la variació als Països Catalans: estat de la qüestió

The results of an analysis on literature about microsociolinguistics, where you can also see a lack of theoretical congruence, are shown in this paper. The authors classify the works in three groups, depending on the community with which they deal: communities where the main spoken language is Catalan, communities where it is Spanish or communities where Catalan became extinct. From the first two groups, they review phonological and morphological studies. From the third, they suggest the study of language vestiges in communities where Catalan became extinct. Finally, they claim that macro and microsocionlinguistics should be unified and remark the interest of language variation studies for the language planning
