    Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is very different from the previous curriculum, there are still many obstacles that we know greatly affect the learning outcomes, both in terms of media used, the assessment in the 2013 curriculum is more complicated than the previous curriculum then the methods used to convey the learning materials that want to be taught not effective or even incompatible with the material to be conveyed. This research method is a classroom action research conducted in improving the learning process, with four meetings. The assessment taken in this study is an evaluation evaluation of each meeting in the form of attitudinal value, value of knowledge and skill value based on teacher\u27s book on theme 4 "Healthy is Important" with sub theme 1 "Importance of Health and Environment". On the attitudes that appear attitude of self-confidence, curiosity and independence Already entrusted by 20.68% confidence, and curiosity while mandated 6.2% lower because students are still not familiar with the implementation of the curriculum 2013. Results of student knowledge seen the development in excellent value at the first meeting of 36.4%, at the second meeting decreased to 30.3%, while at the third meeting experienced a 52.25% increase again. While on the results of these students\u27 skills on four meetings emerged every meeting with a very good category at the first meeting of 18.1%, at the second meeting increased to 27.3%, the third meeting decreased to 20.68%, while at the fourth meeting increased again by 65.62%

    The background of this research is based on the fact that happened in class V SDN 029 Teluk Erong Kecamatan Rengat, which indicates a low reading skills of students. The problem of this research is "Does the application of direct instructional model can improve students \u27reading comprehension Class V SDN 029 Teluk Erong Kecamatan Rengat?" The purpose of this research is to improve students\u27 reading comprehension Class V SDN 029 Teluk Erong Kecamatan Rengat by applying the model direct learning. This study took place in class V SDN 029 Teluk Erong Kecamatan Rengat and held on 5 April until 22 April 2016 with a number of subjects as many as 12 people consisting of 2 women and 10 men. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Based on the results obtained by the percentage of individuals and classical completeness by applying direct learning model, before the action amounted to 16.7% and the students who did not complete 83.3%, in the first cycle increased by 66.7% and that is not finished at 33.7%. Then on the second cycle increased by 91.7%, while 9.3% did not complete. In the second cycle the average student learning outcomes 60% and increased to 72.5% in the first cycle, the difference in the increase of the value of the previous test was 20.8%. In the second cycle the average results of tests students\u27 return increased to 82.5% margin improvement that occurred from the first cycle to the second cycle is sebesar13,8%. So the increase in students\u27 test results is by 34.6% overall. From the results of these actions can be summed application of direct learning model can improve students\u27 reading comprehension class V SDN 029 Teluk Erong Kecamatan Rengat

    This research was condected in Kampung Rempak Kabupaten Siak where tenun Siak development area existed during the royal era. Tenun Siak cloth is one of the cultural products of its society that was made and worn by royal family. During the time, Tenun Siak cloth is not only worn by royal family but also by public society other than the royal society with its forms and motives. The objective of the research is to understand of Tenun Siak cloth related to motives, ascesorier and function change and meaning of Tenun Siak cloth pertaining to the user, social status on the society. The research appleied qualitative approach by following method develoved by Milles and Humberman. Data was collected by applying field reseach to the Tenun Siak clocth. Data also being collected from informen, the Siak cloth weaver, traditional expert, headvillagers and the capable men of the village. Informen were determiend by purposive based on necessities. For data validity, it is important to apply checking trustworthiness technic, subtitutive, dependecy and accuracy.The research finds that there has been any change to the Tenun Siak cloth, the product change. Motives and colors are now more varied, as well as form compared to the royal era, it also happens to the use, Tenun Siak cloth is not only for royal family but it is also worn by people in general, in anytime and at any place. Besides, the change also happens to the done tativec conotative meaning and symbol of the Tenun Siak cloth. The change found due to internal change to the weaver by economic motive as well as external change by the use of tool sets and also communication along with technology

    The purpose of this research was to determine the professional competence of the State Primary School Teachers\u27 Cluster II Marpoyan Damai District Pekanbaru. This type of research was descriptive with quantitative approach that provides an overview of the state of progress on the object of research was analysis of Professional Competence State Primary School Teachers Cluster II Marpoyan Damai District Pekanbaru. The sample was used in this research that teachers are stratified S1 as many as 46 teachers. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire. The research was concluded that the professional competence of public elementary school teachers Cluster II Marpoyan Damai District Pekanbaru overall indicator reached 58.96% with a good enough category

    This research is caused by students less able to read the understanding of the discourse that is less interested students with reading activities, they just read but do not interpret the discourse that is read so they do not understand the content of the discourse, unable to conclude the discourse and determine the main sentence.This makes the student\u27s ability to understand very low reading content. The formulation of this research problem is "How is the ability to read the understanding of discourse on the Grade V Elementary School students as Group III Sail Sub-district Pekanbaru City?" this research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to describe the reading comprehension of discourse in grade V students of SD Negeri as Group III Sail Sub-district Pekanbaru City. The population of this study amounted to 282 students. The sample is taken as much as 50% of the population of 141 students. This research method is descriptive quantitative research. Technique of collecting data by using written test technique using 24 objective objective items that have been validated using anates version V4. The analysis of the research data is done by giving the score on the student answer sheet, calculate the average and present it, recapitulate or create a table that contains the score value, categorize the data, classify, draw conclusions and results obtained reading ability of students understanding. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the reading comprehension of discourse based on the indicator ability to understand the contents of discourse is 79% with good category, and the ability to conclude discourse is 79% with good category, while the ability to determine the main sentence is 69% with enough category. Based on the results of data analysis, the level of reading comprehension ability discourse on the students of grade V SD Negeri as a Class III Sail District Pekanbaru Lesson Year 2016/2017 with a good category with an average percentage of 76%

    Penerapan Model Quantum Teaching Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas IV B Sdn 64 Pekanbaru

    The research carried out base on the lowly of the result of science in grade IV B SD Negeri 64 Pekanbaru which is from 40 students who did not complete were 24 students, meanwhile the minimal completeness criterion (KKM) stated is 70. This research is classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to improve science learning process of class IV B SD Negeri 64 Pekanbaru in academic year 2015/2016 through Quantum Teaching Model. The research was conducted into 2 cycles. Each cycle consist of two meeting and one test. The instrument used in this study is the teacher and student\u27s activity sheet as well as learning about the test result. This study presents an increase of average teacher\u27s activity in the first cycle in first meeting is 75%, the second meeting increase to 86%. The second cycle increase from 89% to 97%. Student activity based on the result of research on first cycle is from 62% in the first meeting to 79% in the second meeting. In the second cycle increase from 91% in the first meeting to 95% in the second meeting. Based on the research of students learning outcome increased from the base score 74,5 to 76,5 in the first cycle and the second cycle increase become 82,8. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of Quantum Teaching Model can improve the student\u27s achievement in science subject of class IVB SD Negeri 64 Pekanbaru
