Background & Objective: Students' love of learning and need for learning lead to adopting of strategies which are the grounds for innovation, especially at a global level. Therefore, the implementation of effective methods and strategies to create motivation and interest in learning in students seems essential. The main purpose of this study was to study the relationship between medical student's love of learning, need for learning, and passion for searching and global innovation. Methods: This correlational descriptive study was carried out on students of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences, Iran, during the 2014-2015 academic years. From among 338 students, 200 students (86 men and 114 women) were selected through random sampling method and using the Cochran formula. The data collection tools consisted of McFarlane’s Love of Learning Questionnaire, Mowen Lifelong Learning Questionnaire, the Sensation Seeking Scale, and Hurt’s Global Innovation Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and linear regression in SPSS software. Results: The findings indicated that love of learning and need for learning were significant positive predictors of students' global innovation (R2 = 0.44, P < 0.001) and passion for searching (R2 = 0.27, P < 0.001). The passion for searching was a direct, positive, and significant predictor of students' global innovation (R2 = 0.37, P < 0.001). The mediator variable of passion for searching had a key position in the relationship of love for learning and need for learning with students' global innovation. Conclusion: Based on the relationship between exogenous, mediator, and endogenous variables, it seems that the love for learning is considered to be strength. In addition, through perseverance, individuals will win various merits. Thus, universities should create the grounds for student's innovation by providing the necessary conditions for the flourishing of talent, and creating of interest and love of learning through the passion for searching. Key Words: Causal model, Love of learning, Need for learning, passion for Searching, Global Innovation, Medical student

Abstract Objective The complications associated with miscarriages have surfaced as a major concern in maintaining women’s physical and mental health. The present study evaluated the efficacy of three medication regimes for the complete expulsion of retained intrauterine tissues in patients who underwent a miscarriage. Methods In this randomized clinical trial, 90 patients participated with their gestational age below 12 weeks, each having undergone a recent miscarriage. After being screened for underlying diseases and coagulative blood disorders, they were randomly allocated into three groups. For the first group, labeled as the control group, misoprostol was administered alone. In contrast, the combination of misoprostol plus methylergometrine and misoprostol plus oxytocin was prescribed for the second and third groups, respectively. Further, the data obtained were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics using Stata software version 14. Results The mean age of participants and gestational age were 29.76 ± 5.53 years and 8.23 ± 2.29 weeks, respectively. There was no significant difference between the three treatment groups regarding the amount of bleeding after the abortion(P = 0.627). Regarding pain severity, the group that received Misoprostol plus Methylergometrine had less pain intensity than the other two groups(p = 0.004). The mean rate of RPOC expulsion was in the Misoprostol plus Oxytocin (9.68 ± 10.36) group, Misoprostol plus Methylergometrine (11.73 ± 12.86), and Misoprostol groups (19.07 ± 14.31)(p = 0.013). The success rate in outpatient medical abortion in the misoprostol plus oxytocin and misoprostol plus methylergonovine group was 93.33%, but in patients treated by misoprostol alone was 83.33%. Conclusion The effectiveness of the drugs in the two drug groups combined with oxytocin and methylergometrine is higher than the misoprostol group alone. An outpatient approach was deemed more satisfactory against surgical maneuvers and hospitalizations by patients since family support influenced their pain coping mechanism. Trial registration The trial was registered in the Iranian registry of clinical trials on 04/10/2019. ( https://fa.irct.ir/trial/34519 ; registration number: IRCT20150407021653N19)

Introduction COVID-19 has negative and sometimes irreversible effects on infertile women. This study aimed to investigate hopelessness and depression in infertile women whose treatment has been delayed due to COVID-19. Methods This case-control study was conducted online on 172 infertile women. The case group included infertile women under treatment whose treatment was delayed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the control group was selected from infertile women who were not under infertile treatment. This study was conducted between April and December 2021 in Jahrom, Iran. Beck hopelessness standard questionnaire (BHS) and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) were used to collect data, and p < 0.05 was considered significant. Results The mean score of hopelessness in women in the case group was 9.48 ± 1.80 compared to the control group 8.66 ± 1.34 (OR = 1.39 95% CI = 1.13–1.71), and its areas (OR = 1.33 95% CI = 1.003–2.43), Emotions and expectations score (OR = 1.59 95% CI = 1.07–2.37), Motivation loss score (OR = 2.02 95% CI = 1.49–2.73), Hope score, and depression in women in the case group was 40.33 ± 10.87to 36.72 ± 11.40 compared to the control (OR = 1.17 95% CI = 1.11–1.23). All these variables showed an increase in the case group compared to the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion The results showed that infertile women whose treatment was delayed were more frustrated and depressed than women in the control group. COVID-19 epidemic and discontinuation of infertile treatments in infertile women seem to have negative psychological effects. Therefore, the psychological effects of this epidemic on infertile women should not be ignored, so planners should put social and family support at the top of the program

Background of Objective: Nursing is one of the health care jobs. In addition to health care, they need to continue education for individual development and be aware of the latest medical science achievements. The main purpose of this study was an evaluation of effective factors in learning transfer of nursing on the job training courses in work environment based on Holton’s transfer model. Materials and Methods: This was a descriptive, cross-sectional study in which the population was all of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences nurses. Passing on-the-job training courses in 2015 was inclusion criterion. Using random sampling method and Cocran formula, 95 nurses were selected. Research instrument was learning transfer system inventory that was distributed after its validity and reliability were calculated. Data was analyzed by inferential statistical methods and SPSS21. Results: The results showed that effective individual, organizational and educational factors in learning transfer of on-the-job training courses in work environment are important. Also, they showed that individual was the most dominant effective factor (P< 0.05). Conclusion: With special attention to the nurse's on- the -job training courses, it is possible to transfer learning to work environment

Kimura (KD) is a rare and chronic inflammatory disease that causes subcutaneous swelling and lymphadenopathy for unknown reasons and usually shows masses such as painless subcutaneous tumors in the head and neck. The disease is diagnosed based on the presence of a characteristic subcutaneous mass, elevated peripheral blood eosinophilia, IgA E levels, and biopsy, which indicates abnormal proliferation of lymph follicles and vascular endothelium with eosinophilic infiltration. Case Report: The patient is a 35-year-old woman who suffered from first degree localized burns in a large area of the body with warm water 2 months before the diagnosis and then the symptoms of Kimura disease appeared in order and after performing several tests and sampling of the disease Proved. Conclusion: It seems that in our patient, a large superficial burn acted as a skin shock and caused the symptoms of Kimura disease, so that the patient showed all the symptoms of this disease within 2 months, including skin symptoms (Dryness, burning, thickening, severe itching and excessive wrinkles), skin rashes on the back of the neck and then swelling in the nose and back of the eyes, and finally an almond-sized mass on the right side of the back Is the neck. The patient has heartburn, loss of appetite and weight loss. His illness has also responded to steroid treatment
