    The phenomenon of this research is about the paradigm of change that some enterprises employed both the permanent and contractual employees to improve an efficiency of organization goals. The objective of this research are to describe compensation, job characteristic, leadership, job satisfaction and job performance; to know and examine the influence of compensation, job characteristic, and leadership on job satisfaction and job performance for permanent and contractual employees of medium and large enterprises in Palembang City.The kind of this research is survey verification on 482 respondents of 100 medium and large enterprises in Palembang City. Methods of sampling used in this research were stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data are analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis by applying the method of Structural Equation Model (SEM) and using Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL) program.Some results could be identified that the description of compensation, job characteristic, leadership, job satisfaction and job performance were important to permanent and also contractual employees which required between the mild and high categories. The results of quantitative analysis by testing of hypothesis shown that the influenced of compensation, job characteristic, and leadership on job satisfaction and job performance were positive and significant. The influenced of job satisfaction on job performance was significant. The influenced of compensation, job characteristic, leadership, and job satisfaction on job performance were statistically positive and significant of permanent and also contractual employees of medium and large enterprises in Palembang City

    The purpose of this research are: (1). Analyzing the concept influence of Diversity and Employee partially support against the performance of PT.Baturona Adimulya employee. (2). Analyzing the concept influence of Diversity and Employee support simultaneous against the performance of PT Baturona Adimulya employee (3). Knowing which variable that have a dominant influence against the performance of PT. Baturona Adimulya employee. The result of the first hypothesis test showed diversity only influence of 0.089. So diversity variable partially doesn\u27t have a significant influence against the performance of PT. Baturona Adimulya employees. Further variable emlpoyee support influence at 0.896 and significant means employee support partially has a significant influence against the performance of PT. Baturona adimulya employee. Further the second hypothesis testing showed a value of 0.658 (coefficient of determination). These results state diversity and employee support simultaneously (together) have a significant influence against the performance of PT. Baturona Adimulya employees. The results of the employee support third variables influence more dominant when compared with diversity variable against the performance of PT. Baturona Adimulya employees

    The purpose of this research is to analyse and find out the influence of motivation and organization culture to employee’s performance of Business Unit SPBU PT. Putra Kelana Makmur Group Batam.  There are two variables in this research. The Independent variables are motivation and organization culture, and dependent variable is employee’s performance. Population in this research are all the employee’s of Business Unit SPBU PT. Putra Kelana Makmur Group Batam, 198 peoples. Sample taken with cluster divided from work contract status, the sample is 132 respondents. Data analyse is used double linear regression analysis for testing the influence of motivation and organization culture towards the employee’s performance of Business Unit SPBU PT. Putra Kelana Makmur Group Batam.The result of this research, a) motivation is positively and significantly influenced the employee’s performance. b) Organization culture also influenced positively and significantly to employee’s performance. c) Motivation and organization culture simultaneously, positively and significantly influenced the employee’s performance. Increasing employee’s motivation can give them more challenge and achievement. Giving support to the employee for participating in worker’s society.     The study conducted to look at the effect of compensation, competences and working environment toward the job performance of the employees of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatra Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan), aims to identify (a) to investigate partially influences of compensation, competency and working environment affecting the job performance of the employees of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatera Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan), (b) to investigate simultantly influences of compensation, competency and working environment affecting the job perofmance of the employees of Disaster Management Agency of South Sumatera Province (BPBD Sumatera Selatan), (c) to investigate which variable have dominant affecting the job performance.The method used in this study was causal method.     The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of Corporate Culture and Transformational Leadership partially or jointly to the performance of the Pertamina RU III employee after 5 years Transformation in Pertamina. This study used a descriptive survey method approach. Survey method is a research method in which information is collected through the use of questionnaires. The number of sample were 8 x total of research indicator (14 indicators). The numbers of total sample were 112 respondents, were about 16,5 % of 680 population of Pertamina RU III Plaju. Regarding to the title of this research, the beginning phase was 2008 to 2013, and the population in this study were the employee of Pertamina RU III who have worked at least 5 years. Essential things that must be considered in writing the questionnaire, the determination of the list of questions, as well as the format of the questionnaire design, as well as using infrencial analysis with multiple linear regression analysis model (multiple regression analysis). The results showed that Corporate Culture variable (X1) which partially have a significant influence to the employee performance (Y), and the same thing for Transformational Leadership variable (X2), partially has a significant effect to the employee performance (Y). This is indicated by the significance p-value is smaller than alpha value of 0.05. Furthermore, from the results of the F test (Simultaneous Test), Corporate Culture (X1) and Transformational Leadership (X2) have a significant influence to performance of Pertamina RU III Plaju employee (Y)

    This study aimed to determine the effect of job satisfaction and organizational culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of the employees in PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang and it takes the case in Division of Technology. Luthans stated that there are several dimensions determining job satisfaction, those are job itself, salary, supevision, co-workers, and working conditions. Meanwhile, according to Robbin, there are seven characteristics of organizational culture, those are innovation and risk taking, attention to detail, outcome orientation, team orientation, aggresiveness and stability. The determination of number of respondents in this study uses a stratified random sampling method in Technical Inspection Department, Production Planning and Controling Department, Safety and Environment Department and Laboratory Department. The calculation of the sample size is based on Slovin formula and it gets a total sample of 66 employees. The result of this study shows that job satisfaction do not have a significant effect on OCB. While organizational culture significantly has positive effect on OCB. Job satisfaction and organizational culture simultantly has effect on OCB with organizational culture is the dominant variable

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence and job design partially or simultaneously and which variables are more dominant effect on the performance of employees of the Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This study used a survey method with descriptive approach. Subjects in this study were all employees of the Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang as many as 36 people. The results showed that the competence (X1) and job design (X2) partially (t-test) have a positive influence on employee performance (Y) Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This is indicated by the value of each thitung > ttable and probability value < level of significance. Simultaneous test results (F test) showed that the competence and job design simultaneously positive effect on the performance of employees of the Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang with R value of 0.924, which means very strong. The independent variable which gives a more dominant effect on performance, namely competence (X1). This shows that the better their competence will better the performance of the resulting employee Dentistry Department of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang

    The number of labor force in South Sumatra Province when viewed from the percentage of the unemployed workforce for the uneducated workforce is 27% while the educated workforce is unemployed by 73%. The purpose of this study was to explain the influence of socio-demographic factors on the length of time looking for educated workers in South Sumatra Province. This study uses secondary data in the form of the 2017 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) South Sumatra Province and the use of multiple linear regression analysis (OLS). The results of the analysis of the research that has been carried out state that the respondents have the characteristics, namely that the majority are male with a high school / vocational high school education level and only a few have work experience. The average respondent was 26.79 years old, had an income of 2124029.59 rupiah and had a long time to look for work 17.31 months. The variables that were not related to the length of time looking for work were age, sex and education.
