    A complex study of magnetic properties including dc magnetization, 1H NMR and magnetic torque measurements has been performed for the organic conductor kappa-(BETS)2Mn[N(CN)2]3 which undergoes a metal-insulator transition at T_MI~25K. NMR and the magnetization data indicate a transition in the manganese subsystem from paramagnetic to a frozen state at T_MI, which is, however, not a simple Neel type order. Further, a magnetic field induced transition resembling a spin flop has been detected in the torque measurements at temperatures below T_MI. This transition is most likely related to the spins of pi-electrons localized on the organic molecules BETS and coupled with the manganese 3d spins via exchange interaction.Comment: 6 pages, 5 Figures, 1 Table; Submitted to Phys.Rev.B (Nov.2010

To estimate a role of screening in revealing sick gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and training of these patients in Β«To School of patients GERDΒ» at an dispensary-polyclinic stage by means of studying an estimation of quality of a life. Materials and methods. Tests for presence gastroesophageal reflux disease developed by professor V.A. Isakovym (MRSRI n. M.F.Vladimirsky) and an estimation of quality of a life (questionnaire SF-36 created J.E. Ware) have passed 180 patients who have addressed the dispensary-polyclinic help. By results of testing interrogated have been divided into 2 groups: 1-st with presence gastroesophageal reflux disease, 2-nd β€” without symptoms gastroesophageal a reflux. An estimation of quality of a life spent a method of summation of estimations Likerti on the basis of code conversion of intermediate values by means of the software distributed by company QMetric Inc (MOS SF-36. The Health Institute, New England Medical Center, Boston, USA). Retrospectivity electronic out-patient cards of all patients are studied, results esophagogastroduodenoscopy and contrast rentghenoskopy the top departments of a digestive path are analysed. Results. More than half of the patients who have addressed the dispensary-polyclinic help, had symptoms gastroesophageal reflux disease. Gastroesophageal reflux disease proceeded under Β«MasksΒ» other diseases, and their mutual influence led to a syndrome of mutual burdening. The conclusion.     Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) and de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) oscillations spectra of the quasi-two dimensional charge transfer salt Ξ²\beta"-(ET)4_4(H3_3O)[Fe(C2_2O4_4)3_3]β‹…\cdotC6_6H4_4Cl2_2 have been investigated in pulsed magnetic fields up to 54 T. The data reveal three basic frequencies Fa_a, Fb_b and Fbβˆ’a_{b - a}, which can be interpreted on the basis of three compensated closed orbits at low temperature. However a very weak thermal damping of the Fourier component Fb_b, with the highest amplitude, is evidenced for SdH spectra above about 6 K. As a result, magnetoresistance oscillations are observed at temperatures higher than 30 K. This feature, which is not observed for dHvA oscillations, is in line with quantum interference, pointing to a Fermi surface reconstruction in this compound.Comment: published in Eur. Phys. J. The final deformation temperature allows due the decrease of rolling speed avoiding development of recrystallization processes. Heterogeneity of texture state is provided by the differences in stress conditions for semifinished rolled plate. Deformation texture of the central layers consists of rolling texture, and compounds of shear texture are observed in surface layers.     Orientation microscopy was used to study the surfaces of a sample made of austenitic stainless steel 18Cr–9Ni in three mutually perpendicular directions after prolonged operation under conditions of elevated temperatures and neutron irradiation. During the preparation of the metallographic section the phase transformation Ξ³β†’Ξ± is observed on the surface of the sample. This one was because of the structural changes of steel that occurred during the operation.     The article presents brief data from the literature about the history of BCG vaccine development (Bacille bilie' Calmette-Gue'rin), results of meta-analyses aimed at the evaluation of BCG-therapy efficiency in Ta-T1 bladder cancer. Below one can read descriptions of clinical cases when side effects and complications of this method developed according to the literature data and results of authors' personal observations. The main reason of low level of BCG-therapy use in Russia is low awareness of medical workers about the legal grounds for application of this method.
