How do Films Reflect our Societies Today? An Analysis of Films and Film Genres
āAvengers: Endgameā, released in 2019, became the highest-grossing film of all time, surpassing $2.8 billion in worldwide box office revenue. Its massive success demonstrates the immense popularity and widespread appeal of blockbuster films, attracting millions of viewers and generating significant economic impact. Thus, today, films are not only a form of art, but also play a significant role today as a powerful medium of storytelling, entertainment, and reflection of culture and society. In the digital age, films have evolved to encompass various genres, styles, and distribution methods, making them a powerful medium that continues to play a significant role in shaping our world
Band structure reconstruction across nematic order in high quality FeSe single crystal as revealed by optical spectroscopy study
We perform an in-plane optical spectroscopy measurement on high quality FeSe
single crystals grown by a vapor transport technique. Below the structural
transition at 90 K, the reflectivity spectrum clearly shows a
gradual suppression around 400 cm and the conductivity spectrum shows a
peak at higher frequency. The energy scale of this gap-like feature is
comparable to the width of the band splitting observed by ARPES. The
low-frequency conductivity consists of two Drude components and the overall
plasma frequency is smaller than that of the FeAs based compounds, suggesting a
lower carrier density or stronger correlation effect. The plasma frequency
becomes even smaller below which agrees with the very small Fermi
energy estimated by other experiments. Similar to iron pnictides, a clear
temperature-induced spectral weight transfer is observed for FeSe, being
indicative of strong correlation effect.Comment: 6 page
The reasons for the decline of festival attendees and the link to audience satisfaction
While Wintec starts international student program, it is offering valuable opportunities to acquaint people with other cultures. Festivals celebration on campus often provides a dominant position for diversity groups communicating. The Chinese Festival Celebration reflects the dynamic of New Zealand society in general. These developments are so encouraging of promising international Chinese student outside China begin to cheer and advocate that the festival celebration held jointly by Chinese and non-Chinese. It helped more and more non-Chinese to understand Chinese culture. Over the years many of the records of this bygone era have been lost to them. Chinese culture should be keep explored and maintain enthusiasm for history to bring back these nearly forgotten arts. With this in mind, the researcher was undertaken Chinese cultural events in China to examine the similarities and differences that applied in New Zealand. This report illuminates the perspective of people (international visitors and students) coming from China and other countries towards their expectations. This report presents the results of a quantitative survey conducted, and qualitative interviews to gain a better analysis that investigating the challenges faced by the relationship between quality, satisfaction and the likelihood that would affect attendeesā repeat visit intent. The report provided an overview that how Chinese cultural event in China, also contrast the differences and similarities that applied in New Zealand stage
Psoas Hematoma Following Lumbar Sympathetic Block in a Patient with Renal and Liver Diseases and Recent Use of Aggrenox
Lumbar sympathetic block is an analgesic procedure frequently performed in chronic pain clinics for ischemic lower limb pain from peripheral arterial disease. Although the lumbar sympathetic ganglia are anatomically near major vascular and neural structures, complications such as severe hemorrhage is rarely reported. Aspirin/extended release dipyridamole (Aggrenox) is indicated for secondary stroke prevention. Stroke is frequently a co-morbid condition in patients with peripheral vascular disease. Interventional pain physicians frequently face the difficulty of deciding\ud
whether to continue or stop antithrombotic medications in the periprocedural period because of the devastating consequences of both hemorrhagic and thrombotic complications. Due to a paucity of data, no guidelines have been specifically written for interventional procedures for chronic pain. To aid future decision making, we present a case report of psoas hematoma developed after lumbar sympathetic block in a patient with end stage renal failure and hepatic dysfunction who\ud
had limb-threatening ischemia. The patient was treated with Aggrenox until three days before the procedure

Effects of shrink range and preload on dynamics characteristics of anti-backlash geared rotor-bearing system with composite mesh stiffness
Anti-backlash gear can improve the static transmission precision of system. Besides, the dynamic characteristics of anti-backlash gear system have a significant effect on the performance of overall mechanism, and assembly parameter is an important factor to affect the dynamic characteristic. In order to study the effect of assembly parameter, a single-stage anti-backlash transmission box was taken as an example. Then, the influence of assembly shrink range and preload force on bearing contact stiffness was considered, and the calculation formula of bearing radial stiffness was derived. The calculation method of anti-backlash gear composite mesh stiffness was introduced. Based on this, the transverse-torsion geared rotor-bearing dynamics model and differential equations of anti-backlash gear system with bearing contact stiffness and composite mesh stiffness were proposed. Numerical calculation and the result analysis of frequency sweep show that increasing the shrink range can increase the bearing radial stiffness and further improve the low order resonant frequency (RF) of the system; the effect of inner and outer ring on resonant frequency is equivalent, but neither is obvious. Increasing preload can enhance the bearing radial stiffness and improve the resonant frequency of the system, and the extent of the effect is greater than that of shrink range on the resonant frequency; the effect of preload force on the resonant frequency is obvious
Two-and-a-half Order Score-based Model for Solving 3D Ill-posed Inverse Problems
Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are crucial
technologies in the field of medical imaging. Score-based models have proven to
be effective in addressing different inverse problems encountered in CT and
MRI, such as sparse-view CT and fast MRI reconstruction. However, these models
face challenges in achieving accurate three dimensional (3D) volumetric
reconstruction. The existing score-based models primarily focus on
reconstructing two dimensional (2D) data distribution, leading to
inconsistencies between adjacent slices in the reconstructed 3D volumetric
images. To overcome this limitation, we propose a novel two-and-a-half order
score-based model (TOSM). During the training phase, our TOSM learns data
distributions in 2D space, which reduces the complexity of training compared to
directly working on 3D volumes. However, in the reconstruction phase, the TOSM
updates the data distribution in 3D space, utilizing complementary scores along
three directions (sagittal, coronal, and transaxial) to achieve a more precise
reconstruction. The development of TOSM is built on robust theoretical
principles, ensuring its reliability and efficacy. Through extensive
experimentation on large-scale sparse-view CT and fast MRI datasets, our method
demonstrates remarkable advancements and attains state-of-the-art results in
solving 3D ill-posed inverse problems. Notably, the proposed TOSM effectively
addresses the inter-slice inconsistency issue, resulting in high-quality 3D
volumetric reconstruction.Comment: 10 pages, 13 figure
