1-(3,4-DihydroxyÂphenÂyl)-2-(4-hydroxyÂphenÂyl)ethanone
The title compound, C14H12O4, is a deoxyÂbenzoin derivative in which the dihedral between the carbonyl group and the catechol unit is 5.99 (3)°. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 60.26 (13)°. In the crystal structure, interÂmolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect molÂecules, forming a two-dimensional network. In addition, weak interÂmolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯π contacts further stabilize the crystal structure

Bromido(2-{1-[2-(morpholin-4-yl)ethylÂimino]ÂethÂyl}phenolato)copper(II)
In the title complex, [CuBr(C14H19N2O2)], the CuII atom is coordinated by one phenolate O, one imine N and one amine N atom of the tridentate Schiff base ligand and by one bromide ion, resulting in a distorted CuBrN2O square-planar geometry, with the N atoms in a cis arrangement. The morpholine ring adopts a chair conformation
