    In the title dinuclear complex, [Cu2(C14H20ClN4O)ClO]·3H2O, one CuII cation assumes a distorted square-planar coordination geometry and the other a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry. Both CuII cations are N,N′,O-chelated by one arm of the 2,6-bis­[(2-amino­eth­yl)imino­meth­yl]-4-chloro­phenolate anion, and one oxide anion bridges the two CuII cations, forming a dinuclear complex. One of the CuII cations is further coordinated by an Cl− anion in the apical direction. In the crystal, lattice water mol­ecules are linked with the complex mol­ecule via O—H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds while O—H⋯O hydrogen bonding occurs between lattice water mol­ecules , forming three-dimensional network structure

In response to this situation, Xi Jinping’s Chinese government officially announced the B&R Initiative in 2013. Rising influence of the B&R for international economic development is an increasing concern for countries along the route, as well within the European region. The purpose of the present research study is to explore what promotion can be made in order to achieve mutually beneficial results for China EU cooperation under the B&R? By conducting an in depth analysis, namely to studies on relevant EU policies, documents, statements, news reports, and China’s own policy papers on the EU, one gets a comprehensive understanding of the development of the recent history of China EU relations. By analysing the existing problems in China EU relations and the respective influential factors, we can help both sides formulate more accurate policies and adjust their strategic positioning. As stated in our, there are several countries in a political situation of unrest along the route, therefore, there are geopolitical and investment risks faced by China EU cooperation that need to be seriously considered by both sides. For China, to keep improving its level of economic reforms, optimizing the environment for foreign investment, regulating unfair competition, improving the related implementation mechanisms, laws, and regulations, in order to provide a reliable institutional guarantee for EU corporations to invest in China and to attach importance to cooperation with important stakeholders has become an inevitable choice. EU member states have diverse requirements for national development, therefore it is difficult to speak in a single voice towards the B&R. Moreover, both sides lack relevant, qualified expert professionals

    Based on consumer’s perspective, the influences of logistics service quality on customer satisfaction were empirically studied in order to clarify the key logistical factors affecting consumer’s satisfaction. An empirical method is used to investigate the factors in E-commerce logistics service quality that influence customer satisfaction. The results indicate that delivery service quality, after-sales service quality and staff service quality have positive impacts on customer satisfaction; the influence of communication service quality on customer satisfaction is not significant

    Analysis of significant factors on cable failure using the Cox proportional hazard model

    This paper proposes the use of the Cox proportional hazard model (Cox PHM), a statistical model, for the analysis of early-failure data associated with power cables. The Cox PHM analyses simultaneously a set of covariates and identifies those which have significant effects on the cable failures. In order to demonstrate the appropriateness of the model, relevant historical failure data related to medium voltage (MV, rated at 10 kV) distribution cables and High Voltage (HV, 110 kV and 220 kV) transmission cables have been collected from a regional electricity company in China. Results prove that the model is more robust than the Weibull distribution, in that failure data does not have to be homogeneous. Results also demonstrate that the method can single out a case of poor manufacturing quality with a particular cable joint provider by using a statistical hypothesis test. The proposed approach can potentially help to resolve any legal dispute that may arise between a manufacturer and a network operator, in addition to providing guidance for improving future practice in cable procurement, design, installations and maintenance

    Earthquake response of large-span reinforced concrete structures with haunch braces under vertical ground motions

    A new type of reinforced concrete (RC) frame system with diagonal haunch braces is introduced in a large-span sports education building. In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic responses of the large-span RC frame structures with diagonal haunch braces (RCFB) are studied under vertical near-fault pulse-like and non-pulse-like ground motions. Ten ground motions of the Chichi earthquake event are selected and divided into two groups. The large-span plane RCFB structure is simplified from a practical engineering structure and used to perform a dynamic time-history analysis. The vertical mid-beam displacement and the axial pressure at the base of the bottom column of the structure are compared under vertical pulse-like and vertical non-pulse-like ground motions, and the effects of the structural system parameters on the vertical mid-beam displacement are analyzed. This study shows that the vertical earthquake response of a large-span RCFB structure is significant, especially under pulse-like ground motions, and that the structural system parameters and the impulsive effect of ground motion exhibit a distinct coupled effect on the vertical response. Optimizing the location of haunch braces is very critical in RCFB structural design
