Fermions tunneling from higher-dimensional charged AdS black hole in dRGT massive gravity within modified dispersion relation
The tunneling behavior of fermions with half-integral spin from a higher
dimensional charged anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole in de Rham, Gabadadze and
Tolley (dRGT) massive gravity is investigated via a modified Hamilton-Jacobi
equation. The results demonstrate that the modified thermodynamic quantities
not only are related to the properties of the higher dimensional charged AdS
black hole in dRGT massive gravity but also depend on the parameter ,
the coupling constant and the mass of emitted particles . In
addition, the modified Hawking temperature is higher than the original
temperature; hence, the effect of MDR can significantly enhance the evolution
of the black hole. Besides, our results can be verified using the modified

Model of English Teaching for Future Employees in China’s Petroleum Production Industry
Model of English teaching in non-native English speaking countries are very important in English Education, especially in the discipline of teaching English as a second language. Therefore English teaching design requires more specificity, especially for special purposes such as teaching English for industrial workers. Experience indicates that the “1+1 model”(one year for acquiring basic knowledge plus one year for site training and practices in oil fields)is an effective approach for teaching future oil field workers. The model follows four basic principles: establishing a target, cultivating standards, designing and following a process, and effective evaluation. Additionally, cooperative teaching and effective learning are encouraged in this model. Transitioning to the “1+1 model” requires not only a change in teaching methods or means, but also a philosophical shift in the concept of English instruction, that is, a move toward the realization of a “student-centered” approach, emphasizing self-study and the acquisition of practical skills. The method we used includes experimental method and interview. The result indicates that English teaching “1+1 model” can supply more qualified future employees for the petroleum production industry
Warped Brane worlds in Critical Gravity
We investigate the brane models in arbitrary dimensional critical gravity
presented in [Phys. Rev. Lett. 106, 181302 (2011)]. For the model of the thin
branes with codimension one, the Gibbons-Hawking surface term and the junction
conditions are derived, with which the analytical solutions for the flat, AdS,
and dS branes are obtained at the critical point of the critical gravity. It is
found that all these branes are embedded in an AdS spacetime, but, in
general, the effective cosmological constant of the AdS
spacetime is not equal to the naked one in the critical gravity,
which can be positive, zero, and negative. Another interesting result is that
the brane tension can also be positive, zero, or negative, depending on the
symmetry of the thin brane and the values of the parameters of the theory,
which is very different from the case in general relativity. It is shown that
the mass hierarchy problem can be solved in the braneworld model in the
higher-derivative critical gravity. We also study the thick brane model and
find analytical and numerical solutions of the flat, AdS, and dS branes. It is
find that some branes will have inner structure when some parameters of the
theory are larger than their critical values, which may result in resonant KK
modes for some bulk matter fields. The flat branes with positive energy density
and AdS branes with negative energy density are embedded in an -dimensional
AdS spacetime, while the dS branes with positive energy density are embedded in

Surface Plasmon Enhanced Chemical Reactions on Metal Nanostructures
Noble metal nanomaterials as plasmonic photocatalysts can strongly absorb visible light and generate localized surface plasmon resonance (SPR), which in turn depends on the size, shape, and surrounding of the plasmonic metal nanomaterials (PMNMs). Remarkably, the high-efficiency conversion of solar energy into chemical energy was expected to be achieved by PMNMs. Therefore, researchers have chosen PMNMs to improve the photocatalytic activity toward targeted molecules. This enhancement can be achieved by the effective separation of photogenerated electrons and holes of the PMNMs in the presence of light. Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) has been performed for obtaining information about the photochemically transformed surface species at molecular levels. A profound understanding of kinetic mechanisms is needed for the development of novel plasmonic catalysts toward various chemical transformations of targeted molecules. In this chapter, based on the above discussions, the participation of SPR excitation in PMNMs and photocatalysis toward chemical transformations of SERS-active organic molecules such as aromatic amino and nitro compounds based on PMNMs have been discussed in detail through theoretical and experimental studies. Application of the interventional limb raising management strategy (ILRMS) at radial vascular access sites in coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention: A randomized trial
AbstractPurposeTo compare the effectiveness of the interventional limb raising management strategy (ILRMS) to elastic bandage compression at radial vascular access sites following coronary angiographies (CAGs) and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs).MethodsPatients with ischemic coronary heart disease whose condition was stable over three months were enrolled in this clinical study (n = 590; aged 25–80). All participants had just undergone CAG and PCI. Patients were randomized into either the ILRMS group (n = 360) or standard post-intervention care with an elastic bandage (n = 230). Overall comfort and wrist pain was assessed and the degree of index finger swelling and oxygen saturation was measured on the affected arm. All variables were measured prior to post-intervention treatment and again at six hours after CAG and PCI.ResultsWe found that patients receiving ILRMS had significantly lower wrist pain scores and swelling around the index finger compared to the elastic bandage group (p < 0.05). Oxygen saturation of the index finger was not statistically significant (p > 0.05). We also found that 19.57% of the elastic bandage patients were comfortable, while ILRMS patients were significantly more comfortable (93.06%; p < 0.05).ConclusionsWe find that ILRMS alleviates swelling and pain of the wrist more effectively than current practices and improves the degree of overall comfort of patients who undergo CAG and PCI
