The creative industrial park : formation path and evolution mechanism

    Get PDF
This paper has built a three-stage assumption of creative industrial park on the base of evolutionary economics, which are the gather of units, the construction of interface and the development of network. The gather of units is a reflection of resource search, the construction of interface is a need of identity, and the development of network is a result of multi-dimensional expansion. In the three-stage evolution, the creative industrial park increases constantly their evolution level from the simple geographic gathered to the division and cooperation of labor, until the formation of novel systems. Then this paper analyzes the 798 creative industrial park using the three-stage assumption. This paper finds the main problem of 798’s self-destructing after the low level development of the third stage is the exclusion of the commercial prosperity to the art production. Accordingly, the paper puts forword four modes of promoting the integration between art and commerce. At last, this paper argues the different characteristics of the creative industrial park from other industrial parks. On the angle of formation path, the essence of creative industries is integration of culture and economy, technology. On the angle of evolution mechanism, it reflects novel characteristic of unit, identity characteristic of interface, and co-creation characteristic of network.creative industrial park; formation path; evolution mechanism; integration of culture, economy, and technology

Ferrocene (Fc) encapsulated cucurbit[7]uril (CB[7]) supramolecular host-guest complex  (Fc@CB[7]) as a synthetic recognition pair has been widely adapted for coupling biomolecules and nanomaterials due to its ultra-high binding affinity. In this paper, we have explored the binding of CB[7] on binary ferrocenylundecanethiolate/octanethiolate self-assembled monolayer on gold  (FcC11S-/C8S-Au), a model system to deepen our understanding of host-guest chemistry at molecular interfaces. It has been shown that upon incubation with CB[7] solution, the redox behavior FcC11S-/C8S-Au changes remarkably, i.e., a new pair of peaks appeared at more positive potential with narrowed widths. The ease of quantitation of surface bound-redox species (Fc+/Fc and  Fc+@CB[7]/ Fc@CB[7]) enabled us to determine the thermodynamic formation constant of  Fc@CB[7] at FcC11S-/C8S-Au (7.3±1.8 × 104 M-1). With time-dependent redox responses, we were able to, for the first time, deduce both the binding and dissociation rate constants, 2.8±0.3 × 103  M-1s-1 and 0.08±0.01 s-1, respectively. These results showed substantial differences both thermodynamically and kinetically for the formation of host-guest inclusion complex at molecular interfaces with respect to solution-diffused, homogenous environments

Superconductivity and Its Enhancement in Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons

The discovery of superconductivity above 30 K in aromatic hydrocarbons in the past years has been an exciting event in condensed matter physics, chemistry, and materials. Superconductivity was realized by simply introducing electrons in the network made by carbon and hydrogen—the two components for organic systems. However, the accurate amount of doped electrons and their positions have not been established experimentally. No agreement has been reached for the mechanism of their superconductivity. Here, the first-principles theory with the combination of electron correlations is used to address these problems. Our calculations show that both the single-ring compound (benzene) and the two benzene ring compound (naphthalene) are superconductors with transition temperatures (Tc's) of 6.2 K and 5.8 K, respectively, after administration of potassium. By examining the existing experimental data carefully, we find that there exists a unique superconducting phase with Tc in the range of 5 − 7 K for all aromatic hydrocarbons. The almost constant low density of states at Fermi level with about two-electron doping accounts for this unified phase. The high density of states at Fermi level upon three-electron doping seems responsible for the high-Tc phase in these hydrocarbons with long benzene rings. Meanwhile, the electronic correlations also increase with an increasing number of benzene rings. These findings offer clues to the understanding of the superconductivity as well as to the search of new superconductors in this family
