    No full text
    The paper deals with the study of paper pulp composition influence on properties of paper based on waste paper raw materials. Application of the method of mathematical planning and solution of optimization tasks helped to establish the optimum contents of a sizing agent and cationic starch in the paper pulp composition, comprising 0.109 и0.5% of a. d. f. respectively. It is shown that the degree of paper pulp beating should be 45°ShR in order to achieve the required values of breaking length 3700 m, tensile energy absorption 34.2 J/m?, bulk 2.39 sm?/g and elongation 1.6 mm

    Influence of urea-formaldehyde oligomer composition on technical paper properties

    No full text
    The article studies the influence of urea-formaldehyde oligomers on technical properties of paper types. The influence of the studied oligomers on the electrokinetic properties and the ability to dehydrate water-fibrous suspensions. Shows the effect of modified oligomers on the hydrophobic and physical-mechanical properties of the paper samples. It was established that the modification of the aminoformaldehyde oligomer lactams ?-aminocaproic acid affects the efficacy of the products obtained for improving the strength of paper

    The influence of paper mass composition on effectiveness of applying synthetic fillers

    Efficiency of application of synthetic filler (barium sulfite, having an average particle size of 1.05–1.27 μ ) increases the management of structure of the sized filled pulp. Reducing the particle size from 1.0−5.0 to 1.05−1.27 μ increases the degree of filler retention in the paper structure and, therefore, increases the ash content of the paper and decreases twice the content of suspended solids in the water sub grid. It is possible to explain by the filling process in the geteroadagulation mode. The preferred pulp composition is set to obtain paper with high indices (ash content, brightness, absorbency at unilat-eral wetting, breaking length). The pulp should be obtained in the following manner. For maximum preservation of the mechanical strength of the fibers it is advisable to sequentially introduce into the fibrous pulp slurry barium hydroxide at defibering stage (dispersion process), and sodium sulfite at the grinding stage (the process of internal and external fibrillation). The components are taken in stoichio-metric ratio to obtain a finely divided filler in amount 10% a. d. s.; then aluminum sulfate (0.8% of the flow rate a. d. s.) is added and synthetic sizing agent based on dimers of alkyl ketenes AKD (0.4% of the flow rate a. d. s.), to provide absorbency index under one-sided wetting no more than 20 g/m{2}

    Application of new nitrogen-containing pitches for the manufacture of technical types of paper

    No full text
    The article is devoted to studying of influence of nitrogen-containing pitches on properties of technical types of paper. Influence of conditions of receiving pitches on hydrophobic and physical mechanical properties of samples of paper from cellulose and waste paper is shown. It is established that efficiency of effect of studied pitches significantly depends on a look fibrous the semi-finished products, used in paper composition. Increase of efficiency of strengthening effect of studied nitrogen-containing pitches at reduction of a molar ratio carbamide : formaldehyde to 1.0 : 5.9 is shown

    The influenсe of structure and the weight of one square meter of elementary layers on properties of printing cardboard

    No full text
    The comparative analysis of the received experimental data testifies that, properties of printing cardboard essentially depend on structure and the weight of one square meter of its elementary layers. We defined the preferable structure of top layer (40% of bleached softwood sulphate cellulose and 60% of white paper for recycling of mark МB-1), intermediate layer (40% of bleached softwood sulphate cellulose and 60% of white paper for recycling of mark МB-2) and primary layer (60% of modular paper for recycling of mark МС-5B and 40% of white paper for recycling of mark МB-1), the layers differ in the weight of one square meter. The printing cardboard possesses the demanded physicomechanical characteristics corresponded to ТURB 00280146.030-98 in that case when the weight of one meter square is 60 g for the top layer, 50 g for the intermediate and 130 g for the primary layer

    It is shown that the replacement of natural filler (barium sulfate) with particle size of the synthetic 1.50?2.00 microns with a particle size 0.50?0.57 microns allows us to give the correct paper whiteness and breaking length but to maximize the strength of the paper sheet. Found that decreasing the size of the filler particles from 1.50?2.00 to 0.50?0.57 microns can help improve their retention in the structure of the paper through the course of the process of filling in heteroadagulation while the process of penitration, which has a positive effect on its printability

    Influence of conditions for obtaining styrene copolymers on paper properties

    No full text
    The influence of the conditions for obtaining reinforcing additives based on copolymers of styrene and maleic anhydride on change of the physical and mechanical properties of paper is established. The obtained products are completely soluble in water and have an anionic character. Greater anion character has partially saponified sample. The results of thermogravimetric analysis showed that the greater resistance to thermo-chemical degradation has a saponified sample. In this case, activation energy is 177.2 kJ/mol

    It is shown that to reduce the size of the filler particles from 3–5 microns (natural) to 0.65–0.82 microns ({[CaCO3]m· nCO3 2– · (n – x)Na + } x– · xNa + ) allows for the filling process in geteroadagulation and penetration. To obtain high elevated paper with high-hydrophobic and strength properties it is advisable to sequentially introduced into the pulp slurry, calcium chloride and sodium carbonate to obtain superfine particles of filler (consumption10% of a. d. f.), then polyethylenimine (consumption 0.075% a. d. f.) and adhesive based on alkylketenedimer AKD (consumption 0.5% a. d. f.) demonstrating flocculating and sizing effect respectively

    The results of the researches of the effect of composite filler on the properties of the composite polygraphic cardboard NVP-0.5 obtained in JSC «Slonim cardboard-paper mill «Albertin» on a cardboard machine CM-2 are presented in the article. The proposed composite filler is obtained from available raw materials and makes it possible to replace the imported (kaolin) completely. It is shown that the filler allows to increase whiteness of the polygraphic cardboard NVP-0.5 by 5–8% and that of the ash content in structure by 17.6–18.2%
