    Thomson backscattering in combined two laser and magnetic field

    The Thomson backscattering of an electron moving in combined fields is studied by a dynamically assisted mechanism. The combined fields are composed of two co-propagating laser fields and a magnetic field, where the first laser field is strong and low-frequency while the second is weak and high-frequency, relatively. The dependence of fundamental frequency of emission on the ratio of incident laser high-to-low frequency is presented and the spectrum of backscattering is obtained. It is found that, with a magnetic field, the peak of the spectrum and the corresponding radiation frequency are significantly larger in case of two-laser than that in case of only one laser. They are also improved obviously as the frequency of the weak laser field. Another finding is the nonlinear correlation between the emission intensity of the backscattering and the intensity of the weak laser field. These results provide a new possibility to adjust and control the spectrum by changing the ratios of frequency and intensity of the two laser fields.Comment: 13 pages, 4 figure

    Genome-Wide Identification and Analysis of the Chicken Basic Helix-Loop-Helix Factors

    Members of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) family of transcription factors play important roles in a wide range of developmental processes. In this study, we conducted a genome-wide survey using the chicken (Gallus gallus) genomic database, and identified 104 bHLH sequences belonging to 42 gene families in an effort to characterize the chicken bHLH transcription factor family. Phylogenetic analyses revealed that chicken has 50, 21, 15, 4, 8, and 3 bHLH members in groups A, B, C, D, E, and F, respectively, while three members belonging to none of these groups were classified as ‘‘orphans”. A comparison between chicken and human bHLH repertoires suggested that both organisms have a number of lineage-specific bHLH members in the proteomes. Chromosome distribution patterns and phylogenetic analyses strongly suggest that the bHLH members should have arisen through gene duplication at an early date. Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment statistics showed 51 top GO annotations of biological processes counted in the frequency. The present study deepens our understanding of the chicken bHLH transcription factor family and provides much useful information for further studies using chicken as a model system

    Implementation and effect of daily review method in management of cardiovascular surgical intensive care unit

    目的  探讨日点评分析法对心血管重症监护室内病人护理质量的提高及对护士日常工作规范的重要性。方法  每日医护书面晨交班后,利用30min时间,由护士长主持,首先,根据医护晨交班的内容对于监护室内的病人基本病情请每位责任护士对自己所管的病人病情进行描述,责任组长补充,尤其对现存或潜在的护理问题重点指出。其次,根据病人的诊断、手术后的护理重点、现存或潜在的护理问题并结合国内外护理动态向当天值班的护士讲解。最后,根据病人术后恢复情况及病情向责任护士交待每位病人应观察的重点;向监护室的行政组长交待督导的重点、存在的安全隐患等。结果  医护满意度、 患者满意度、核心护理质量指标与去年同期相比均有较大幅度的提高。压疮、意外拔管、坠床等不良事件发生率均为零。结论  日点评分析法启用以来调动了护士的积极性。对于一些理论知识欠缺或临床经验较少的护士是一个很好的学习机会。使护士能够有重点的观察处理病人。并对当天的工作有非常周密的安排。Objective: To explore the effect of daily review method on normalization of nurses’ daily work as well as the improvement of the quality of nursing in the cardiovascular intensive patients at ICU. Methods: The head nurse hosts the daily review, to fully use of 30 minutes, after handover of medical records in the morning. First of all, every nurse is required to describe the basic conditions of the patients in ICU according to the contents of medical records, the leader added, especially for existing or potential problems. Second, explain patient’s diagnosis, the key points of nursing after operation, the existing or potential nursing problems combined with the domestic and international nursing trends to the nurse on duty. Finally, teach the nurse in charge the priority during observation according to the patient’s postoperative recovery and the condition of the patient, and explain to the chief executive of ICU about the focus of monitor, the existence of security risks. Results: Health care satisfaction, patient satisfaction, core quality of care and quality indicators were significantly improved compared with the previous year. The incidence of adverse events such as pressure ulcer, accidental extubation and falling bed were all zero. Conclusion: Daily review analysis method could mobilize the enthusiasm of nurses, provides a good learning opportunity for nurses with a lack of theoretical knowledge and clinical experience. It enables nurses to mask focused observation and treatment of patients. And it facilitates a very thorough arrangement of the nurses.

    BZ-MC-BP Model for Jet Production from Black Hole Accretion Disc

    Three energy mechanisms invoking large-scale magnetic fields are incorporated in a model to interpret jet production in black hole (BH) systems, i.e., the Blandford-Znajek (BZ), the magnetic coupling (MC) and Blandford-Payne (BP) processes. These energy mechanisms can coexist in BH accretion disc based on the magnetic field configurations constrained by the screw instability, provided that the BH spin and the power-law index indicating the variation of the magnetic field at an accretion disc are greater than some critical values. In this model the jets are driven by the BZ process in the Poynting flux regime and by the BP process in the hydromagnetic regime, being consistent with the spine/sheath jet structure observed in BH sources of stellar and supermassive size.Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures, accepted by MNRA

    Effective identification of terrain positions from gridded DEM data using multimodal classification integration

    Terrain positions are widely used to describe the Earth’s topographic features and play an important role in the studies of landform evolution, soil erosion and hydrological modeling. This work develops a new multimodal classification system with enhanced classification performance by integrating different approaches for terrain position identification. The adopted classification approaches include local terrain attribute (LA)-based and regional terrain attribute (RA)-based, rule-based and supervised, and pixel-based and object-oriented methods. Firstly, a double-level definition scheme is presented for terrain positions. Then, utilizing a hierarchical framework, a multimodal approach is developed by integrating different classification techniques. Finally, an assessment method is established to evaluate the new classification system from different aspects. The experimental results, obtained at a Loess Plateau region in northern China on a 5 m digital elevation model (DEM), show reasonably positional relationship, and larger inter-class and smaller intra-class variances. This indicates that identified terrain positions are consistent with the actual topography from both overall and local perspectives, and have relatively good integrity and rationality. This study demonstrates that the current multimodal classification system, developed by taking advantage of various classification methods, can reflect the geographic meanings and topographic features of terrain positions from different levels

    Artificial Neural Network for Production of Antioxidant Peptides Derived from Bighead Carp Muscles with Alcalase

    Kontrolirani enzimski modificirani proteini koriste se kao dobri izvori bioaktivnih sastojaka proteina, a hidrolizati iz mišića pjegavog šarana mogu se upotrijebiti kao antioksidansi u kontroliranim uvjetima. Antioksidativna sposobnost je procijenjena prema sposobnosti uklanjanja slobodnih radikala DPPH × , OH × i O2 × . Zbog robusnosti, tolerancije na greške, velike brzine računanja i mogućnosti samoučenja, umjetna neuronska mreža može se upotrijebiti za simulaciju modela i optimiranje varijabli hidrolize: pH-vrijednosti, temperature, vremena hidrolize, omjera mišića i vode, te omjera enzima i supstrata (E/S) za proizvodnju antioksidativnih peptida. Postignuti su optimalni uvjeti za postizanje maksimalne antioksidativne sposobnosti. Hidrolizati koji su učinkovito uklonili DPPH×, OH× i O2 × radikale hidrolizirani su nakon 4,8 sata pri aktivnosti alkalaze od 4,8 AU/kg i omjeru mišića/vode od 1:1,9; za 6 sati pri 3,84 AU/kg i omjeru od 1:1,4; te za 4,3 sata pri 4,8 AU/kg i omjeru mišića/vode od 1:1; pri pH-vrijednosti od 7,5 i 60 °C. Ovo je istraživanje potvrdilo da se umjetna neuronska mreža može upotrijebiti za simulaciju reakcije te predviđanje uvjeta hidrolize pri kojima hidrolizati pokazuju najveću sposobnost uklanjanja slobodnih radikala DPPH × , OH × i O2 × .Controlled enzymatic modification proteins are currently being used as good sources of bioactive protein ingredients, and hydrolysates derived from bighead carp muscles may serve as antioxidants through the control of the processing-related parameters. The antioxidant ability was evaluated with regard to the scavenging effect on free radical DPPH·, OH· and O2 ·–. Due to the robustness, fault tolerance, high computational speed and self--learning ability, artificial neural network (ANN) can be employed to build a predictive model for hydrolysis and optimize the hydrolysis variables: pH, temperature, hydrolysis time, muscle/water ratio and enzyme/substrate ratio (E/S) for the production of antioxidant peptides. Optimum conditions to achieve the maximum antioxidant ability were obtained. The hydrolysates, which scavenged most effectively the DPPH·, OH· and O2 ·–, were hydrolyzed for 4.8 h with an activity of alcalase of 4.8 AU/kg, for 6 h with 3.84 AU/kg and for 4.3 h with 4.8 AU/kg, at pH=7.5 and 60 °C. Their respective muscle/water ratio was 1:1.9, 1:1.4 and 1:1. The present study confirmed that ANN could be used to simulate the hydrolysis process and predict hydrolysis conditions under which the hydrolysates could show the most effective scavenging ability on DPPH·, OH· and O2 ·–

    Medical personnel to the implementation of patient care integration management pattern recognition

    目的  调查医护人员对实施医护一体化共同管理病人模式的认可程度,寻找实施过程中存在的问题,以更好的提高病人的管理质量,得到患者的认可。方法  对本院各抽取2个科所有医、护、技术人员共63名医护人员进行问卷调查。结果  100%的医护人员知晓科室目前开展了医护一体化工作模式,医护一体化小组的成员组成,熟悉医护一体化工作模式的流程,人员的岗位职责及认为实施医护一体化工作模式后医、护、技工作配合更加默契。98.7%医护人员认为实施医护一体化工作模式后病人的医疗护理质量得到明显提高。98%的医护人员认为实施医护一体化管理病人模式后自我效能感得到明显提高。97.8%自我管理病人的能力得到提高且认同实施医护一体化工作模式。结论  医护一体化管理病人模式的实施提高了医护人员的工作积极性,拓展了知识,提高了临床思维能力,得到了广大医护人员的认可。同时还应加大宣传、培训的力度,使更多的医护人员了解医护一体化的益处。Objective: To Investigate the implementation of management mode among the medical personnel, to find the existing problems in the implementation process, to manage better quality accepted by patients. Methods: Set a total of 63 questionnaires for all the medical technical personnel. Results: 100% staffs know that now integration mode is carried out in the department, member of medical integration group, familiar with the medical work pattern of the integration process, the post responsibility, and the implementation of medical integration of medical integration made. Doctors and nurses technicians work with more understanding. 98.7% staff believes that the quality of medical care of the patient was obviously improved after the implementation of medical integration work mode. 98% the medical staff believes that self-efficacy has been improved obviously. 97.8% the medical staff think that self-management ability of patients is improved and the implementation of the medical integration mode identification. Conclusion: The implementation model of integrated management of patient care improves the medical staffs’ activeness, expanding knowledge, improving the clinical thinking ability, the majority of doctors and nurses recognition. At the same time publicity and training should be enhanced so that more medical personnel understand the medical integration efforts
