    Research on the Vibration Damping Performance of a Novel Single-Side Coupling Hydro-Pneumatic Suspension

    A mine dump truck is exposed to heavy load and harsh working environment. When the truck passes over the road bumps, it will cause the body to tilt and the tires to "jump off the ground" (JOTG), which will affect the stability and safety of the truck, and will cause impact damage to the body and suspension system. To avoid this situation, a kind of Novel Single-side Coupling Hydro-pneumatic Suspension (NSCHs) is presented. NSCHs consists of two cylinders in parallel, which are connected to the accumulator by rubber pipes and mounted on the same side of the dump truck. Theoretical analysis and experimental research were respectively carried out under the road and loading experimental condition. The experimental results show that compared to the conventional single cylinder hydro-pneumatic suspension, under the loading experiment condition, the maximum overshoot pressure of the NSCHs was reduced by 0.4 MPa and the impact oscillation time was shortened by 4.13 s, which plays the effective role in reducing vibration and absorbing energy. Further, it is found that the two cylinders are coupled during the working process, and the NSCHs system can achieve uniform loading and displacement compensation, thus the novel dump truck can avoid the occurrence of the JOTG phenomenon

    Analysis of morphological differences in five large yellow croaker (<em>Larimichthys crocea</em>) populations

    To explore the morphological and phenotypic characteristics and differences among different populations of Larimichthys crocea, traditional morphological measurements were carried out on three wild populations from Zhoushan, Xiamen and Zhanjiang and two farmed populations from Ningde and Wenzhou. Seven morphological parameters of five L. crocea populations were compared and analyzed. The results of one-way ANOVA showed significant differences in trunk and caudal stalk among the five populations. The contribution rates of the first five principal components to the total difference among different populations were 29.984%, 18.462%, 17.234%, 12.167%, and 9.904%, respectively, and the cumulative contribution rates were 87.751%. Trunk can be used to distinguish different geographic populations best. The cluster analysis results showed that the distance between wild populations was the closest, while the distance between farmed populations was far. The step discriminant method established the classification discriminant function of 5 populations. The discriminant accuracy P1 was 78.3%-92.7%, the discriminant accuracy P2 was 76.4%-96.5%, and the comprehensive recognition rate was 99.3%. The discriminant accuracy of this method was high, and it could provide a reference for the differentiation of different populations of L. crocea.     800nm fiber Bragg Grating sensing interrogation system using TFBG and CCD array

    An 800nm band fiber Bragg grating sensing interrogation system using TFBG as the core wavelength division component is presented. A charge coupled device (CCD) linear array is put on the focal plane of the lens to detect the light. TFBG is used to tap light out of the fiber core to fiber cladding. The sensing wavelength is 795 to 830nm, with accuracy of 20pm and scan speed 100Hz. Using FBG sensor, we achieve the temperature sensitivity as 1.8°C and strain sensitivity as 18με

    Tilted fibre Bragg grating based 800nm WDM interrogation system for strain, temperature and refractive index sensing

    We report the implementation of a low-cost high-resolution WDM interrogation system operating around 800nm region with bandwidth up to 60 nm and resolution of 13 pm by utilising a tilted fibre Bragg grating as an out-coupling device and a CCD-array detector. The system has been evaluated for interrogating fibre Bragg grating based strain, temperature sensors, giving sensitivities of 0.6 pm/µe and 5.6 pm/°C which are in good agreement with previously reported values. Furthermore, the system has been utilised to detect refractive index change of sample liquids, demonstrating a capability of measuring index change as small as 10-5

    FACTORS AFFECTING THE WILLINGNESS OF CHINESE USERS TO CONTINUE USING ONLINE EDUCATION PLATFORMS IN YUNNAN

    This research examines the main factors such as platform system quality, course quality, and user interaction influencing users' continuous use intention on the online education platform from the user experience and perceived value perspective. Data was collected through the convenience approach via online survey questionnaires from 422 Yunnan respondents who had a prior online learning experience, including both elementary and higher education level courses, within the past year on an online education platform in China. Yunnan is located at the border of southwest China, where education is costly and inefficient. Data are tested against the research model by using structural equation modeling. The results indicate that user-perceived value will significantly impact users' willingness to continue using online education platforms. Furthermore, users' functional experience and emotional experience have a positive impact on perceived profit, while they have a negative effect on perceived loss. In addition, the quality of the platform system affects users' functional experience and emotional experiences.     Analysis of morphological differences among different populations of golden pompano (<em>Trachinotus ovatus</em>)

    To explore the external morphological differences of golden pompano in different geographical populations, eight quantitative traits of 210 samples from seven golden pompano populations were measured. Multivariate statistical methods, such as principal component analysis, discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, and One-way ANOVA, were used to compare morphological differences among the populations. Principal component analysis extracted the top five principal components with a cumulative contribution rate of 85.79%, of which the first three principal components could explain seven morphological features. The principal component scatter plot showed that the NH, CH, and LL populations had similar morphology. Using the stepwise discriminant method to establish the classification and discrimination functions of the seven populations, the discrimination accuracy of the DL population was 93.3% for P1 and 87.5% for P2, which was the highest, and the comprehensive discrimination rate was 71.4%. The clustering relationship diagram showed that the populations were divided into three branches, and the CH and NH populations were closest. In contrast, the DL and HF populations were farthest from the other populations. One-way ANOVA showed significant differences (P<0.05) among all traits of the populations, and the morphological differences between the HX and DL populations were the largest.     Transcriptome analysis of the allometric growth of golden pompano (<em>Trachinotus ovatus</em>) following soybean meal feed

    Golden pompano (*Trachinotus ovatus*) is a marine fish of great commercial value. It was selected for a study on allometric growth using fermented soybean meal (SBM) as the primary protein source during an 8-week culture period. By comparing the gene expression levels of different individuals in the fermented soybean meal group, we discovered that 1026 genes exhibited significant changes in slow and fast-growth individuals. Among these genes, 358 showed high expression levels, while 668 showed low ones. Subsequently, we conducted go function annotation and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis on all the significantly differentially expressed genes. This analysis revealed that many of these genes were associated with oxidative phosphorylation, steroid biosynthesis, glyceride metabolism, alanine, aspartic acid, and glutamate metabolism. Identifying these differentially expressed genes is a foundation for unraveling the molecular mechanisms behind growth and development. Additionally, it provides valuable gene data for future studies on the cloning and expression of growth-related genes and offers insights for subsequent biological research

    S3C: Semi-Supervised VQA Natural Language Explanation via Self-Critical Learning

    VQA Natural Language Explanation (VQA-NLE) task aims to explain the decision-making process of VQA models in natural language. Unlike traditional attention or gradient analysis, free-text rationales can be easier to understand and gain users' trust. Existing methods mostly use post-hoc or self-rationalization models to obtain a plausible explanation. However, these frameworks are bottlenecked by the following challenges: 1) the reasoning process cannot be faithfully responded to and suffer from the problem of logical inconsistency. 2) Human-annotated explanations are expensive and time-consuming to collect. In this paper, we propose a new Semi-Supervised VQA-NLE via Self-Critical Learning (S3C), which evaluates the candidate explanations by answering rewards to improve the logical consistency between answers and rationales. With a semi-supervised learning framework, the S3C can benefit from a tremendous amount of samples without human-annotated explanations. A large number of automatic measures and human evaluations all show the effectiveness of our method.     A Capacitive Humidity Sensor Based on Multi-Wall Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs)

    A new type of capacitive humidity sensor is introduced in this paper. The sensor consists of two plate electrodes coated with MWCNT films and four pieces of isolating medium at the four corners of the sensor. According to capillary condensation, the capacitance signal of the sensor is sensitive to relative humidity (RH), which could be transformed to voltage signal by a capacitance to voltage converter circuit. The sensor is tested using different saturated saline solutions at the ambient temperature of 25 °C, which yielded approximately 11% to 97% RH, respectively. The function of the MWCNT films, the effect of electrode distance, the temperature character and the repeatability of the sensor are discussed in this paper
