The Photometric Investigation of V921 Her using the Lunar-based Ultraviolet Telescope of Chang'e-3 mission
The light curve of V921 Her in ultraviolet band observed by the Lunar-based
Ultraviolet Telescope (LUT) is analyzed by the Wilson-Devinney code. Our
solutions conclude that V921 Her is an early type marginal contact binary
system with an additional close-in component. The binary system is under poor
thermal contact with a temperature difference of nearly between the two
components. The close-in component contributes about of the total
luminosity in the triple system. Combining the radial velocity study together
with our photometric solutions, the mass of the primary star and secondary one
are calculated to be , . The evolutionary scenario of V921 Her is discussed.
All times of light minimum of V921 Her available in the bibliography are taken
into account and the curve is analyzed for the first time. The most
probable fitting results are discussed in the paper, which also confirm the
existence of a third component ( year) around the binary system. The
period of V921 Her is also undergoing a continuously rapid increase at a rate
of , which may due to mass
transfer from the less massive component to the more massive one
Molecular Cloning, Characterization, and Expression Analysis of the CXCR4 Gene from Turbot: Scophthalmus maximus
Chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4) belongs to the large superfamily of G protein-coupled receptors. The EST sequence of CXCR4 from turbot (Scophthalmus maximus L.) was obtained from a subtractive cDNA library. In the present study, the full-length cDNA sequence of turbot CXCR4 was obtained, and sequence analysis indicated that its primary structure was highly similar to CXCR4 from other vertebrates. Quantitative real-time PCR demonstrated that the highest expression level of turbot CXCR4 was in the spleen following injection with physiological saline (PS). After turbot were challenged with Vibrio harveyi, the lowest expression level of CXCR4 was detected at 8 hours in the spleen and 12 hours in the head kidney, and then increased gradually to 36 hours. These findings suggested that CXCR4 may play a significant role in the immune response of turbot
Chain length effects of -oligophenyls with comparison of benzene by Raman scattering
Raman scattering measurements are performed on benzene and a number of
-oligophenyls including biphenyl, -terphenyl, -quaterphenyl,
-quinquephenyl, and -sexiphenyl at ambient conditions. The vibrational
modes of the intra- and intermolecular terms in these materials are analyzed
and compared. Chain length effects on the vibrational properties are examined
for the C-H in-plane bending mode and the inter-ring C-C stretching mode at
around 1200 cm and 1280 cm, respectively, and the C-C stretching
modes at around 1600 cm. The complex and fluctuating properties of these
modes result in an imprecise estimation of the chain length of these molecules.
Meanwhile, the obtained ratio of the intensities of the 1200 cm mode and
1280 cm mode is sensitive to the applied lasers. A librational motion
mode with the lowest energy is found to have a monotonous change with the
increase in the chain length. This mode is simply relevant to the axis of
the unit cell. Such an obvious trend makes it a better indicator for
determining the chain length effects on the physical and chemical properties in
these molecules.Comment: 7 pages and 5 figure
The Future Development Tendency of the International Financial Law from the Perspective of Financial Crisis
