Semileptonic Decays to and in Bethe-Salpeter Method
Using the relativistic Bethe-Salpeter method, the electron energy spectrum
and the semileptonic decay widths of and
are calculated. We obtained large branching
ratios, and , which can be easily detected in the future
experiment.Comment: 3 pages, 3 figures
Explore Air Quality from NASA Satellite Data
Space-borne earth observation has been important to monitor the earth condition and played acritical role in validating other instruments or modeling's outputs. However, the data from satellite earth observation are usually very complex in terms of science contents, formats, and spatiotemporal granularities, making them difficult to use from many aspects. NASA Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC), one of the 12 official NASA data centers, archives and distributes rich collections of data from multiple satellite missions and model results. The GES DISC is also the official archive center for data from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) aboard NASA's Aura mission since 2004. Recently, the GES DISChas been evolving and improving its data management and services in order to promote NASA data to be easily discovered and accessed, as well as to facilitate interoperability. We'll show in this presentation how to explore and analyze NASA earth observation data for air quality through a suite of user-friendly tools - from Giovanni to ArcGIS, demonstrating in using this set of tools prepares us to serve the Sentinel 5P TROPOMI to the community
A Dynamic Model for Thick Plates with Time-dependent Boundary Conditions
In this paper a dynamic model for thick plates with dynamic boundary conditions is established. In addition to the influences of the bending the transverse shear deformation and the rotatory inertia has been included. The model also contains the effects of the transverse normal stress and the membrane forces. The equations presented in this paper can be reduced to those based on the Mindlin plate theory and the classical plate theory. The numerical results demonstrate that the influence of the transverse normal stress is quite significant for the dynamic response of thick plates with dynamic boundary conditions
Metallic state in La-doped YBaCuO thin films with -type charge carriers
We report hole and electron doping in La-doped YBaCuO(YBCO) thin
films synthesized by pulsed laser deposition technique and subsequent
\emph{in-situ} postannealing in oxygen ambient and vaccum. The -type samples
show a metallic behavior below the Mott limit and a high carrier density of
10 cm at room temperature (\emph{T}) at the
optimally reduced condition. The in-plane resistivity () of the
-type samples exhibits a quadratic \emph{T} dependence in the
moderate-\emph{T} range and shows an anomaly at a relatively higher \emph{T}
probably related to pseudogap formation analogous to underdoped
NdCeCuO (NCCO). Furthermore, (T), \emph{T} and
\emph{T} with minimum resistivity (\emph{T}) were investigated in both
- and -side. The present results reveal the - asymmetry (symmetry)
within the metallic-state region in an underdoped cuprate and suggest the
potential toward ambipolar superconductivity in a single YBCO system.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figure
