    Penentu Pencapaian Matematik Pelajar-Pelajar Melayu di Sekolah Menengah Negeri Perlis : Sikap, Penglibatan Ibu Bapa dan Faktor Guru

    The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between students' attitude, parental involvement, teacher factor, and Mathematics achievement of Malay students in Perlis. A total of 297 form four Malay students from eight selected schools in Perlis participated in the study. Spearman Correlation, One Way ANOVA and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis were used to analyse the data collected. The results of the study showed significant positive correlations between students' attitude and teacher factor and the Malay students achievement in Mathematics. Parental involvement on the other hand showed no significant correlation with students' achievement. The findings of the study also showed significant differences between students' achievement level in attitude factor. High achievers displayed greater mean for students' attitude factor. However, no significant differences were observed between achievement level in parental involvement and teacher factor. This study found that students' attitude was the only significant predictor in Mathematics achievement. Suggestions for future research and implications for teaching and learning are discussed
