Terms extractions: an approach for requirements reuse
This paper presents a solution to a requirements
reuse problem that utilises natural language processing and
information retrieval technique. We proposed a semi-automated
approach to extract the software features from online software
review to assist the process to reuse natural language
requirements. We have conducted an experiment to compare the
manual feature extraction versus the semi-automated feature
extraction. We used compilations of software review from the
Internet as a source of this extraction process. The extracted
software features are compared against the features obtained
manually by human and the evaluation results obtained in terms
of time, precision, recall, and F-Measure indicate a promising
result
Green transmission for C-RAN based on SWIPT in 5G: a review
C-RAN is a promising new design for the next generation, an important aspect of it in the energy efficiency consideration. Hence, it is considering an innovative candidate to use it as an alternative cellular network instead of the traditional. Investigation green transmission of mobile cloud radio access networks based on SWIPT for 5G cellular networks. Especially, with considering SWIPT as a future solution for increasing the lifetime of end-user battery’s, that’s mean this technique will improving energy efficiency (EE). Addressing SWIPT into C-RAN is a challenging and it is needed to developing a new algorithm to use it on the cellular network with many trying to ensure the success of the system performance. C-RAN as a network and SWIPT as a promising technique with the suggesting green wireless network are discussed besides the importance of energy efficiency for the next generation. Furthermore, there was a study on fifth enabling technologies that can be used for 5G with emphasis on two of them (C-RAN and energy efficiency). Lastly, research challenges and future direction that require substantial research efforts are summarized. © 2018, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature
Major trends in device to device communications research: A bibliometric analysis
The quantitative study of bibliographic material is referred to as bibliometric analysis. It presents a general overview of a research area where the published works can be classified based on countries, authors, publication years,
keywords, and fields of research. This study aims to provide a bibliometric analysis of the research carried out in the field of device to device (D2D) communications in the past decade. The primary objective of this study is to find some of the most relevant and influential research papers in this field and define the newest trends as per the information available in the Web of Science database. During the course of this study, numerous classifications have been made based on different parameters such as the most productive and influential authors, and the most influential keywords and journals. The conclusions of this study are in line with the common wisdom, although certain deviations have been found
Parenting stress among parents of children with autism spectrum disorder: the need of stress management guidelines and policy
This concept paper reviews the issue of parenting stress in mothers and fathers of children with
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and highlights the need for stress management guideline
and policy for these parents in Malaysia. Many studies have shown that parents of children
with ASD are experiencing a high level of stress. Despite this issue, there has not been any
local measures to improve the well-being of the parents. In Malaysia, there is no policy or
standard guideline for parents of children with ASD, hence maintaining the risk of mental
health cases among them. In order to overcome this issue, this paper reviewed the Lazarus and
Folkman’s (1984) problem-focused strategies used by parents of children with ASD from
previous studies. The strategies mentioned in this paper had been empirically proven as
reducing the parents’ stress level. This paper also recommends the strategies to be included in
a local policy to help the parents manage their stress
