Blockchain Multi-Organisational Ecosystems: Hype-based Adoption to Implementation Realities
An essential foundation of Web 3 and the future of generative AI is blockchain due to the emerging demand for traceability, verifiability and authenticity. Coopetition is crucial for organisations for co-evolution and value creation, leading them to form decentralised ecosystems. Then why are b2b blockchain ecosystems struggling with survival or disappointed with delayed success? To investigate, this study delves into the dynamics of blockchain ecosystems, where multiple organisations join or establish a network to create and share value using blockchain technology. I interviewed the C-level executives of twelve (12) blockchain ecosystems on different stages, from idea conception to operations. I also included ecosystems that rolled back their operations after going live. The preliminary data analysis led to categorising these challenges into human/behavioural, technological, strategic, and external factors. Another critical finding is most B2B blockchain ecosystems are governed by conventional off-chain governance models
Measuring the Impact of Coronavirus at Grassroot Level in Pakistan: Perils, Pitfalls and Preventive Strategies
At the forefront of strategists and policymakers' minds stand the catastrophic circumstances of COVID-19 in Pakistan. Severe trauma of unprecedented economic shocks and financial crises brought the country's mechanism to experience a sudden halt. It is necessary to consider how to accelerate recovery and mitigate the spread of negative consequences affecting sectors, industries, institutions, and diverse ventures. Amidst the existing vulnerabilities imposed by inadequate resources and constrained mobility of necessities, the sustainable measures balancing costs and benefits will equip Pakistani communities to fight the corona war proficiently. We analyze the size of adversities hurting various types of individuals, variations in an inflow of economic and financial activities, and reactions to massive disturbances, albeit to different levels. Aligned with in-depth insights and findings, the development of preventive strategies in these desperate times can protect Pakistan's economy from long-lasting disruptions, landing on the safe zone over the coming years.

Contracting in the Age of Blockchain: Case of a Global Value Chain
Blockchain technology is a groundbreaking innovation that is being discussed in the literature and practice these days. Several blockchain consortiums are emerging rapidly across the globe as Blockchain offers innovative means of promoting collaborations in inter and intra-organizational contracts. Blockchain-based Smart Contracts are self-executable, tamperproof, immutable, peer-to-peer traceable, transparent, secure, and free of intermediaries. These are vital factors for cross-organizational workflows such as global value chains (GVCs) that have an ever-growing need to contract with their globally dispersed partners. Therefore, this study will conceptually examine the use of Blockchain-based contracting in GVCs to address Trust, Traceability, and Transparency (3T) concerns. It is expected that blockchain will be able to address the 3Ts of GVC contracting. The study\u27s findings will contribute to the body of knowledge and help policymakers devise plans to test Blockchain in other similar industries
Job Design and Employee Performance: the Moderating Role of Employee Psychological Perception
Job design plays a vital role in the performance maximization. A well designed job brings involvement and satisfaction to the employees and they perform well by employing all their energies in the work. Job design remains a valued issue among the researchers for its importance and effectiveness. A well designed job, according to psychological perception and attitude of employees, motivate workers towards task performance, and such employees become highly productive and loyal to the organization. This study is based on a review of the published literature and personal observation in the workplace to analyze the impact of job design on employee performance. Furthermore, this study proposes a new variable known as “psychological perception” of employee to highlight how employees behave towards a job design. A conceptual framework has been proposed to show the construct of job design by job rotation, job enrichment and job enlargement and relationship of job design with employee performance. It has been found that the psychological perception of an employee has a significant positive impact on the relationship of job design and employee performance. Keywords: Job Design, Job Rotation, Job Enrichment, Job Enlargement, Psychological Perception, Employee Performance

ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND PERFORMANCE: MEDIATING ROLE OF AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT, KNOWLEDGE SHARING PRACTICES AND PERCEIVED COST OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING: Dr. Wasim ul Rehman, Kiran Razzaq, Memoona Zareen
This research work examines the impact of organizational climate on performance and considering affective commitment, knowledge sharing practices (KSPS) and perceived cost of knowledge sharing (KScost) as potential mediators by recognizing the need and importance of knowledge sharing among pharmaceutics to enhance their ability to perform best at workplace. Data collection is carried through convenient sampling from pharmaceutics through survey questionnaire from (Lahore and Karachi) two big cities of Pakistan. Confirmatory factor analysis is applied to test the reliability and validity of the constructs and the outcomes confirm the establishment of both internal reliability and validity. Sample size consists of 350 pharmaceutics. The outcomes of this paper reveal that organizational climate significantly and positively impact the performance. The results indicate that affective commitment, KScost and KSPS intervene the link between organizational commitment and organizational performanc
