DESARROLLO DE HERRAMIENTA PARA LA RECOMENDACIÓN DE CULTIVOS EN EL HOGAR (DEVELOPMENT OF TOOL FOR RECOMMENDING HOME CROPS)

Resumen El presente artículo propone una herramienta que permite a los horticultores y jardineros seleccionar plantas o cultivos de manera que puedan aprovechar el tipo de suelo para siembra a partir de los niveles de humedad, temperatura y pH que cada uno de ellos presenta, con ello la planta o cultivo podrá tomar mejor los nutrientes. Lo anterior se logra utilizando sensores de humedad y temperatura, los sensores se calibraron para que arrojen valores dentro de los límites reales establecidos para un conjunto de plantas, estos valores permitirán hacer una correlación hacia el pH del suelo, una vez que tengamos esos datos una app móvil desplegará un listado de las plantas que son aptas para crecer en ese tipo de suelo. Abstract The present article proposes a tool that allows horticulturalists and gardeners to select plants or crops so that they can take advantage of the soil type for sowing from the humidity, temperature and pH levels that each one presents, thereby the plant or crop will be able to better take the nutrients. The above is achieved using humidity and temperature sensors, the sensors were calibrated to yield values within the actual limits established for a set of plants, these values will allow to make a correlation towards the pH of the soil, once we have that data a mobile app will deploy a list of the plants that are suitable to grow in that type of soil.
