    : Physiological changes in the third trimester pregnant women especially maternal seem more complex and increased again compared to the previous trimester, and this is not another pregnancy because the growing conditions. Mothers who do not have the preparation for childbirth would be anxious and fear shows up in a periaku silent tears. Even if the birth as a normal physiological phenomenal, in fact labor berampak against bleeding, extreme pain and can cause fear even death either mother or baby (Janiwarty & Pieter, 2012). Objective: to know the Factors Which Are Associated with Maternal Anxiety Ahead of Labour in Poly Health Center Tuminting KIA. Research design: an observational analytic cross sectional approach. Population is taken using antenatal mothers in poly clinic Tuminting KIA, and the study sample using sampling techniques saturated, with the number of 50 mothers. Data collection through primary data and secondary data. The result: show that mild anxiety 26%, moderate 62%, and 12% by weight. Statistical test results showed that there was a significant relationship between age, parity and traumatic experience with a mother's anxiety level, while the level of education has no significant relationship with the level of maternal anxiety. Suggestion: have enhanced the role and support of health workers to improve the consultation, which is useful for pregnant women to be able to cope with anxiety in the face of labor, the role of educational institutions needs to be improved in order to further develop the science, especially the science of maternity nursing and psychiatric nursing on anxiety in pregnant women in face of labor in order to provide optimal nursing care, as well as the need for more research on anxiety in the third trimester pregnant women face labor relation with the frequency of antenatal care visits
