Virtual Machine Allocation Policy in Cloud Computing Environment using CloudSim
Cloud computing has been widely accepted by the researchers for the web applications. During the past years, distributed computing replaced the centralized computing and finally turned towards the cloud computing. One can see lots of applications of cloud computing like online sale and purchase, social networking web pages, country wide virtual classes, digital libraries, sharing of pathological research labs, supercomputing and many more. Creating and allocating VMs to applications use virtualization concept. Resource allocates policies and load balancing polices play an important role in managing and allocating resources as per application request in a cloud computing environment. Cloud analyst is a GUI tool that simulates the cloud-computing environment. In the present work, the cloud servers are arranged through step network and a UML model for a minimization of energy consumption by processor, dynamic random access memory, hard disk, electrical components and mother board is developed. A well Unified Modeling Language is used for design of a class diagram. Response time and internet characteristics have been demonstrated and computed results are depicted in the form of tables and graphs using the cloud analyst simulation tool
Voice Packet Performance Estimation through Step Network Using OPNET
VoIP transfer voice over networks such as LAN. This technology is growing
rapidly due to support of existing network infrastructure at low cost. Various
simulations have been done and it is observed that by increasing the VoIP
client, packet length and traffic arrival rate the performance of step network
affected. In the current work packet dropped, packet received, voice traffic
sent and end-to-end delay is estimated for various queuing disciplines like PQ,
FIFO and WFQ. It is depicted that queuing disciplines effects the applications
performance and utilization of resources.Comment: 2018 IEEE 3rd International Conference on Computing, Communication

Resources Allocation and Failures in Step Topology under Distributed Computing System
In the past years, distributed computing is gaining the popularity due to reduction in execution time and low cost involvement. On the basis of this, Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) is also increasing worldwide with major advantage that it has no involvement of wire and transfer of data can be done by the virtual paths if the existing path is congested. In the present work, MANET is considered in the form of step topology which consists of heterogeneous collection of the devices. The work demonstrates the resources allocation for execution of tasks and it consists of selection of right path if the link failures and by pass link failures. It also consists of the resource management over the new proposed step topology. Entire work is modeled with the help of well known modeling language known as Unified Modeling Language (UML) and model demonstrates the resources allocation for execution of the tasks
