    Aspects of Warped AdS3_3/CFT2_2 Correspondence

In this paper we apply the thermodynamics method to investigate the holographic pictures for the BTZ black hole, the spacelike and the null warped black holes in three-dimensional topologically massive gravity (TMG) and new massive gravity (NMG). Even though there are higher derivative terms in these theories, the thermodynamics method is still effective. It gives consistent results with the ones obtained by using asymptotical symmetry group (ASG) analysis. In doing the ASG analysis we develop a brute-force realization of the Barnich-Brandt-Compere formalism with Mathematica code, which also allows us to calculate the masses and the angular momenta of the black holes. In particular, we propose the warped AdS3_3/CFT2_2 correspondence in the new massive gravity, which states that quantum gravity in the warped spacetime could holographically dual to a two-dimensional CFT with c_R=c_L=\f{24}{Gm\b^2\sr{2(21-4\b^2)}}.Comment: 22 pages, references added, published version, link of Mathematica code changed to https://s.yunio.com/Mtus0z or http://pan.baidu.com/s/1mToF

Changes of pore structure and chloride content in cement pastes after pore solution expression

Pore solution expression is a widely accepted approach to extract pore solution of cement-based materials by appllying high pressure. In this study, the variations of pore solution distribution and chloride content in cement pastes before and after pore solution expression were examined. The results showed that the value of chloride concentration index N-c were mostly higher than 1.0 for cement pastes immersed in NaCl solution, and decreased with the chloride concentration of soaking solution and water-to-binder (w/b) ratio. During the pore solution expression, the pores larger than 40 nm were totally removed and the porosity of smaller pore was decreased. Based on a proposed physical model on structure of cement paste, the value of N-c was calculated according to the variations of pore structure and chloride content during pore solution expression. The calculated results showed similar trend as the experimental results obtained by pore solution expression method

Fully integrated InGaAs/InP single-photon detector module with gigahertz sine wave gating

InGaAs/InP single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) working in the regime of GHz clock rates are crucial components for the high-speed quantum key distribution (QKD). We have developed for the first time a compact, stable and user-friendly tabletop InGaAs/InP single-photon detector system operating at a 1.25 GHz gate rate that fully integrates functions for controlling and optimizing SPAD performance. We characterize the key parameters of the detector system and test the long-term stability of the system for continuous operation of 75 hours. The detector system can substantially enhance QKD performance and our present work paves the way for practical high-speed QKD applications.Comment: 11 pages, 6 figures.
