    Efektifitas Media Pembelajaran Word Search Puzzle dalam Meningkatkan Daya Ingat Siswa pada Materi Ekosistem Kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas media pembelajaran word search puzzle dalam meningkatkan daya ingat siswa pada materi ekosistem kelas VII di SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, lembar observasi dan instrumen test. Data yang diperoleh disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil Pre-Test dan Post-Test siswa diperoleh hasil analisis N-Gain sebesar 0,65 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa keefektifan media word search puzzle yang digunakan memiliki kriteria sedang. Selain itu, hasil observasi dan hasil tes siklus I dan siklus II juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media word seach puzzle efektif dalam meningkatkan daya ingat siswa pada materi pembelajaran IPA khususnya materi ekosistem di kelas VII B SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang. Peningkatan daya ingat siswa dapat dilihat pada hasil observasi daya ingat siswa pra siklus I (observasi awal), siklus I dan siklus II. Persentasi keberhasilan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media word seach puzzle mengalami peningkatan pada observasi awal learning 39%, menyimpan 47% dan mengingat kembali 42%, pada siklus I  learning 68%, menyimpan 66% dan mengingat kembali 64%, dan siklus II learning 90%, menyimpan 91% dan mengingat kembali 86%. Sedangkan hasil tes daya ingat siswa siklus I menunjukkan persentasi 65,47% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 81,25%

    Analysis of the Children’s Mathematical Modeling Ability in Boti Traditional Village, Kupang. Academic Year 2020/2021. Skripsi. Mathematics Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education.  University of Muhammadiyah Kupang. This study aims to determine the mathematical modeling ability of children in the traditional village of Boti, which is very necessary in solving contextual problems completely because they do not understand the problem and do not able to convert the problem into a mathematical model. This research isqualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 7 children in Boti traditional village. There were 3 interview test respondents who were selected based on the high, medium, and low ability categories. Data collection techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The validity of the data tested using a triangulation of data technique. Based on the results of 3 essay test items, it showed that the mathematical modeling ability has 3 categories, namely: 1 high-ability child, 4 moderately capable children, and 2 low-ability children

    ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 16 KUPANG

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the mathematical representation capabilities of junior high school students. This research has been conducted at SMP Negeri 16 Kupang School Year 2019/2020. The method used in the study was a descriptive analysis method, which involved 76 students as samples. The student's mathematical representation ability test instrument used as many as 3 questions in the form of descriptions. The results revealed that students' mathematical representation skills in Comparative materials had an average score of 72.51. Students' mathematical representation ability on symbol representation indicators with an average of 85.33 is higher than the verbal representation and image representation indicators; image representation indicator with a score of 60 is still below average; and verbal representation indicators have an average of 72.66. There are several factors that affect the level of ability of mathematical representation of students, including students still find it difficult to convert mathematics symbols into images, turn math problems into mathematical symbols or models and convey mathematical ideas using their own language and words.  The ability of students to solve math problems using symbol and verbal representation is quite satisfactory while students use image representation is not maximal

    The porpose of thesis this reseach to improve the mathematical communication skills of student of class VIII junior higth school Muhammadiyah Kupang towards learning mathematics using the RME approach, March 2020. There are two data colaction teach techniques used in this study, namely test and non-test. This type of reseach used in this reseach is development reseach. The design in this study is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, development, Implementation, Evaluation). The analysis technique used in this study is quantitative data analysis consiss of analysis validity, practicality and effectiviness. The result of this study incate that the validiity of the develpment of learning tools with the RME apprroach in the RPP is 98.21 and hhe LKS 93.45 categorized as very good. Is it said to be practical because it is based on observations that the learning the device with the the RME approach on the flat side room building material in class VIIIB was carried out well during the tria. It is said to be effective because it has met the catagory that is the reference for the results of the mathematical communitation tes in the complelete catagori. So it can concluded that the developed learning  device is  declared valid, practical and effective in learning mathematics so that it can improve student learning outcomes

    This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing LKS-based ARIAS models on the subject of triangles and quadrilateral. This research and development or Research and Development (R & D). The population in this study were all junior high school students of all VII grade studentsof SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang in consisting of 153 students. While the random sampling technique. The results showed teh development of learning and learning with ARIAS-based LKS models on the subject of triangles and quadrilateral meeting the validity criteria and feasible to use, namely syllabus with validation value of 4,34, RPP with validation value of 4,30 and LKS with validation value of 3,39 accumulated from the assesment conducted by the validator, and the evaluation of each prototypeof syllabus, RPP, and LKS with on the average4,01 which was declared very or feasible to use. The results of student responses on the worksheetwith the ARIAS model as a whole got a very good response with the achievement of an average assesment score test with a value of 83,33% witch was declaredeffective

    PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMP

    This study aims to develop mathematical learning media with the Discovery Learning model on valid, practical and effective junior high school students' learning outcomes. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The product developed ar learning media in the form of lesson plans and worksheets using the Discovery Learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The R&D research design used in this study is ADDIE which consists of 5 stages, namely: Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate. The data collection instruments are Validation Sheet, Student Response Questionnaire and Concept Understanding Test Sheet. The data analysis techniques for the development of each learning media were in valid, practical and effective criteria. The study showed that, in terms of validity, the average of  validation learning media was 3.65 with valid criteria. In terms of practicality, based on practicality trials, it was found that the results of the students’ response questionnaire to the learning media reached an average of 88.75% and was considered practical so that it was feasible to use. As for the results of the  completeness level of the effectiveness analysis reached 80% with very effective criteria. Based on the above, it can be concluded that the development of learning media with discovery learning learning models on mathematics learning outcomes for junior High school of Muhammadiyah Kupang students was valid, practical and effective and can be used in learning

    PENGEMBANGAN MODUL MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN PMRI PADA MATERI SPLDV UNTUK SISWA KELAS VIII SMP MUHAMMADIYAH KUPANG

    This study aims to produce a mathematical module of the material system of two variable linear equations for class VIII semester I with PMRI approach, knowing the quality and effectiveness of the module, as well as the responses of material experts and students about the use of modules in learning. This type of research is development research. Using a 4-D (Four D) model, namely defining, design, development, and dissemination. The subjects in this study were students of VIII grade Muhammadiyah Kupang. The instrument used in this study was the validation sheet evaluation of module validity by material and media experts to measure the module validity and student response questionnaire. The results of the module validity assessment by the material and media experts, based on the results of the module quality assessment by the experts, obtained an average of 3.13 content eligibility aspects with 'valid' criteria, a feasibility aspect of 3.21 presentation with a 'valid' criterion, 3.07 language aspects with 'valid' criteria and PMRI 3.54 aspects with 'very valid' criteria. So overall the results of the media and material expert assessment on the "mathematics module with the PMRI approach" are said to be valid with an average of 3.21. And based on the results of student response questionnaire known student responses both with an average of the three criteria is 76.00%. so that the mathematics module with the developed PMRI approach can be declared to get responses from "good" students based on predetermined student response assessment categorie

This study aims to produce learning tools in the form of lesson plans and worksheets on flat sided geometric shapes using a problem-based learning model for class VIII students of SMP Muder Teresa Kupang who have valid, practical and effective qualifications. This research is development research using the modified ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation with 10 respondents.     This research is intended to find out how much student’s achievements are by applying peer tutoring strategies in mathematics in class VIIG MTs N Kota Kupang City. The study used was a qualitative study with the learning strategy applied was a Peer Tutoring Strategy. The research subjects were Grade VIIG students of MTs N Kota Kupang City in the 2019/2020 academic year totaling 31 students the observed and measured variable in the student’s mathematics learning achievement. The results of the study explained that increasing student mathematics leraning achievement in the learning process that is with peer tutoring strategies learning with peer tutors is learning done with student peers.&nbsp

    This research aims to find out the mathematical literacy skills of grade VIII students of MTs Kupang State School Year 2019/2020. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were 30 students grade  MTs Kupang State School Year 2019/2020. The object of this research is the mathematical literacy ability of students grade  MTs Kupang State School Year 2019/2020. Data collection techniques with tests using essay tests. Instruments used in research are essay type tests, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are three, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques. From the results of the study shows that the results of the calculation of the percentage of students who are able to reach KKM as much as 40% while students who do not reach KKM as much as 60%, thus it is concluded that the mathematical literacy ability of grade  MTs Kupang state is still low because in this class there are still many students who are weak on formulating and planning strategies in solving problems
