    Strategic Positioning of Business Blogging for Enterprises

    Some experts concerned that blogging may be in conflict with other more controlled public relation activities and suspect that only those companies in bad financial shape would resort to business blogging as a cheap try. Through analysis of business blogging activities of Fortune 500 companies, we demonstrated that business blogging can be used as a new strategic tool for companies to sustain their existing competitive advantages. We found business blogging tend to correlated with higher sales, lower cost of goods and reduced advertising expenses for companies. We also found that those companies use product differentiation as their main competitive strategy could better utilize business blogging to sustain their competitive position thus maintain or increase their financial performances

    A new class of fractional impulsive differential hemivariational inequalities with an application

    We consider a new fractional impulsive differential hemivariational inequality, which captures the required characteristics of both the hemivariational inequality and the fractional impulsive differential equation within the same framework. By utilizing a surjectivity theorem and a fixed point theorem we establish an existence and uniqueness theorem for such a problem. Moreover, we investigate the perturbation problem of the fractional impulsive differential hemivariational inequality to prove a convergence result, which describes the stability of the solution in relation to perturbation data. Finally, our main results are applied to obtain some new results for a frictional contact problem with the surface traction driven by the fractional impulsive differential equation

    Complete classification of steerability under local filters and its relation with measurement incompatibility

    Quantum steering is a central resource for one-sided device-independent quantum information. It is manipulated via one-way local operations and classical communication, such as local filtering on the trusted party. Here, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for a steering assemblage to be transformable into another via local filtering. We characterize the equivalence classes with respect to filters in terms of the steering equivalent observables (SEO), first proposed to connect the problem of steerability and measurement incompatibility. We provide an efficient method to compute the extractable steerability that is maximal via local filters and show that it coincides with the incompatibility of the SEO. Moreover, we show that there always exists a bipartite state that provides an assemblage with steerability equal to the incompatibility of the measurements on the untrusted party. Finally, we investigate the optimal success probability and rates for transformation protocols (distillation and dilution) in the single-shot scenario together with examples

    THE VARIATION OF DOMINANT ELBOW RANGE OF MOTION AMONG DIFFERENT MATURE STAGE FOR BASEBALL PITCHERS

    The purpose of this study was to examine the variation of elbow range of motion (ROM) in the dominant arm between different maturity levels in baseball pitchers. Sixty-two pitchers, including 17 early-puberty players, 22 later-puberty players, and 23 adult players, participated in this study. A goniometer was used to assess elbow ROM in the dominant arms, including elbow flexion, hyper-extension, supination, pronation and valgus angles.     <p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>The σB protein of Muscovy duck reovirus (DRV), one of the major structural proteins, is able to induce neutralizing antibody in ducks, but the monoclonal antibody (MAb) against σB protein has never been characterized.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>Four hybridoma cell lines secreting anti-DRV σB MAbs were obtained, designated 1E5, 2F7, 4E3 and 5D8. Immunoglobulin subclass tests differentiated them as IgG2b (1E5 and 4E3) and IgM (2F7 and 5D8). Dot blot and western blotting assays showed that MAbs reacted with His-σB protein in a conformation-independent manner. Competitive binding assay indicated that the MAbs delineated two epitopes, A and B of σB. Immunofluorescence assay indicated that the four MAbs could specifically bind to Vero cells infected with DRV and σB was distributed diffusely in the cytoplasma of infected cells. MAbs had universal reactivity to all DRVs tested in an antigen-capture enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>Results of this research provide important information about the four monoclonal antibodies and therefore the MAbs may be useful candidate for the development of a MAb capture ELISA for rapid detection of DRVs. In addition, it showed that the σB protein was located in the cytoplasma of infected cells by immunofluorescence assay with MAbs. Virus isolation and RT-PCR are reliable way for detection of DRV infection, but these procedures are laborious, time consuming, and requiring instruments. These obvious diagnosis problems highlight the ongoing demand of rapid, reproducible, and automatic methods for the sensitive detection of DRV.</p
