    Centrality, system size and energy dependences of charged-particle pseudo-rapidity distribution

    Utilizing the three-fireball picture within the quark combination model, we study systematically the charged particle pseudorapidity distributions in both Au+Au and Cu+Cu collision systems as a function of collision centrality and energy, sNN=\sqrt{s_{NN}}= 19.6, 62.4, 130 and 200 GeV, in full pseudorapidity range. We find that: (i)the contribution from leading particles to dNch/dηdN_{ch}/d\eta distributions increases with the decrease of the collision centrality and energy respectively; (ii)the number of the leading particles is almost independent of the collision energy, but it does depend on the nucleon participants NpartN_{part}; (iii)if Cu+Cu and Au+Au collisions at the same collision energy are selected to have the same NpartN_{part}, the resulting of charged particle dN/dηdN/d\eta distributions are nearly identical, both in the mid-rapidity particle density and the width of the distribution. This is true for both 62.4 GeV and 200 GeV data. (iv)the limiting fragmentation phenomenon is reproduced. (iiv) we predict the total multiplicity and pseudorapidity distribution for the charged particles in Pb+Pb collisions at sNN=5.5\sqrt{s_{NN}}= 5.5 TeV. Finally, we give a qualitative analysis of the Nch/N_{ch}/ and dNch/dη/η0dN_{ch}/d\eta/|_{\eta\approx0} as function of sNN\sqrt{s_{NN}} and NpartN_{part} from RHIC to LHC.Comment: 12 pages, 8 figure

    Effect of the compact Ti layer on the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells assembled using stainless steel sheets

    Titanium films have been deposited on stainless steel metal sheets using dc magnetron sputtering technique at different substrate temperatures. The structure of the titanium films strongly depend on the substrate temperature. The titanium film deposited at the substrate temperature lower than 300 ºC has a loose flat sheet grains structure and the titanium film prepared at the substrate temperature higher than 500 ºC has a dense nubby grains structure. The DSSC assembled using stainless steel sheet coated with titanium film deposited at high substrate temperature has a low charge transfer resistance in the TiO2/Ti interface and results in a high conversion efficiency. The DSSC assembled using stainless steel sheet coated with titanium film deposited at temperature higher than 500 ºC has higher conversion efficiency than that assembled using titanium metal sheet as the substrate. The maximum conversion efficiency, 2.26% is obtained for DSSC assembled using stainless steel sheet coated with titanium film deposited at 700 ºC substrate temperature, which is about 70% of the conversion efficiency of the FTO reference cell used in this study.This work was supported by the Dalian University of Technology through the program of the Sea-sky Scholar

    排卵功能障碍性不孕症患者的中医五态人格及焦虑分析

    Objective: Finding out the relationship between five-pattern personality and anxiety 、depression characteristics of the DOI patients. Methods: 200 DOI patients were selected in the Infertility Specialist of Guangzhou Liwan District Hospital of Chinese Medicine,at the same time, researchers choose normal women as controls. Respondents filled in the Five-pattern Personality Scales、SAS、SDS and general information questionnaire. Results: The proportion of shaoyin personality of the DOI patients(50%) is significantly higher than the normal women(22%). And no yin and yang personality was observed in patients with DOI. The SAS and SDS score of the DOI patients, listed in descending order, is as follow, taiyin personality、shaoyin personality、taiyang personality、shaoyang personality、yin and yang personality. Conclusion: The main five-pattern personality of DOI is shaoyin personality. The patients of the taiyin and shaoyin personality are more likely to have the characteristics of anxiety and depression.目的  探究排卵功能障碍性不孕症患者不同中医五态人格类型与焦虑、抑郁情绪的关联性。方法  确诊为排卵功能障碍性不孕症患者200例,同时在本院选择正常已育妇女作为对照组。采用《五态人格量表》、《焦虑自评量表(SAS)》、《抑郁自评量表(SDS)》及一般资料问卷进行调查。结果  排卵功能障碍性不孕症组中少阴型中医人格(50%)明显高于正常妇女组(22%),且没有出现阴阳平和型中医人格。不孕症组中太阳、少阳、少阴、太阴型中医人格的焦虑、抑郁总分4组间不全相等(P<0.001)。结论  排卵功能障碍性不孕症患者以少阴型中医人格为主,且太阴、少阴型中医人格的患者更易出现高焦虑、高抑郁

    Centrality dependence of pTp_{T} spectra for identified hadrons in Au+Au and Cu+Cu collisions at sNN=200\sqrt{s_{NN}}= 200 GeV

    The centrality dependence of transverse momentum spectra for identified hadrons at midrapidity in Au+Au collisions at sNN=200\sqrt{s_{NN}}= 200 GeV is systematically studied in a quark combination model. The pT\mathrm{{p}_{T}} spectra of π±\pi^{\pm}, K±K^{\pm}, p(pˉ)p(\bar{p}) and Λ(Λˉ)\Lambda(\bar{\Lambda}) in different centrality bins and the nuclear modification factors (RCPR_{CP}) for these hadrons are calculated. The centrality dependence of the average collective transverse velocity for the hot and dense quark matter is obtained in Au+Au collisions, and it is applied to a relative smaller Cu+Cu collision system. The centrality dependence of pT\mathrm{{p}_{T}} spectra and the RCPR_{CP} for π0\pi^{0}, Ks0K_{s}^{0} and Λ\Lambda in Cu+Cu collisions at sNN=200\sqrt{s_{NN}}= 200 GeV are well described. The results show that <β(r)><\beta (r)> is only a function of the number of participants NpartN_{part} and it is independent of the collision system.Comment: 7 pages, 6 figure

    Y Chromosomes of 40% Chinese Are Descendants of Three Neolithic Super-grandfathers

    Demographic change of human populations is one of the central questions for delving into the past of human beings. To identify major population expansions related to male lineages, we sequenced 78 East Asian Y chromosomes at 3.9 Mbp of the non-recombining region (NRY), discovered >4,000 new SNPs, and identified many new clades. The relative divergence dates can be estimated much more precisely using molecular clock. We found that all the Paleolithic divergences were binary; however, three strong star-like Neolithic expansions at ~6 kya (thousand years ago) (assuming a constant substitution rate of 1e-9/bp/year) indicates that ~40% of modern Chinese are patrilineal descendants of only three super-grandfathers at that time.     Integrated Metabolomics and Proteomics Analysis Revealed Second Messenger System Disturbance in Hippocampus of Chronic Social Defeat Stress Rat

    Depression is a common and disabling mental disorder characterized by high disability and mortality, but its physiopathology remains unclear. In this study, we combined a non-targeted gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS)-based metabolomic approach and isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ)-based proteomic analysis to elucidate metabolite and protein alterations in the hippocampus of rat after chronic social defeat stress (CSDS), an extensively used animal model of depression. Ingenuity pathway analysis (IPA) was conducted to integrate underlying relationships among differentially expressed metabolites and proteins. Twenty-five significantly different expressed metabolites and 234 differentially expressed proteins were identified between CSDS and control groups. IPA canonical pathways and network analyses revealed that intracellular second messenger/signal transduction cascades were most significantly altered in the hippocampus of CSDS rats, including cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), phosphoinositol, tyrosine kinase, and arachidonic acid systems. These results provide a better understanding of biological mechanisms underlying depression, and may help identify potential targets for novel antidepressants
