Anomalous-hydrodynamic analysis of charge-dependent elliptic flow in heavy-ion collisions

Anomalous hydrodynamics is a low-energy effective theory that captures effects of quantum anomalies. We develop a numerical code of anomalous hydrodynamics and apply it to dynamics of heavy-ion collisions, where anomalous transports are expected to occur. This is the first attempt to perform fully non-linear numerical simulations of anomalous hydrodynamics. We discuss implications of the simulations for possible experimental observations of anomalous transport effects. From analyses of the charge-dependent elliptic flow parameters (v2±v_2^\pm) as a function of the net charge asymmetry A±A_\pm, we find that the linear dependence of Δv2±v2v2+\Delta v_2^\pm \equiv v_2^- - v_2^+ on the net charge asymmetry A±A_\pm cannot be regarded as a robust signal of anomalous transports, contrary to previous studies. We, however, find that the intercept Δv2±(A±=0)\Delta v_2^\pm(A_\pm=0) is sensitive to anomalous transport effects.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures, v

It is important to clarify how the soil moisture changes by irrigation and how moisture is consumed by absorption of root, to plan irrigation appropriately in upland field. And, it is thought that clarifying the growth of the root can be important information in the water management, because the amount and the pattern of root water uptake change depending on the growth stage. However, there are not too much a lot of researches that measure the root, in addition, the example intended for crops of 'Gourd family (scientific name:Cucurbitaceae)' is not found. Therefore, for oriental pickling melon, it measured how for the root system to grow up as crop grew every three weeks. The results of this study may be summarized as: 1) Root amount increased with the growth of crops, and the majority of the root existed to 20cm in depth. A lot of rootlets with the role of water uptake existed outside of from 10 to 20cm. 2) Root length has grown up in horizontal and vertical direction at a dash at the stage of growing initial. 3) It was able to be confirmed to the growth of the ground part and the root that the length and amount either also had implications. Moreover, root amount and plant caver ratio drew similar curve

Year-Round Grazing of Beef Cows on Pangolagrass (\u3ci\u3eDigitaria Decumbens\u3c/i\u3e Cv.Transvala) Pasture in Southern Area of Japan

The southern area of Japan (Okinawa) has a sub-tropical climate. In this area beef calf production is now based on year-round grazing on giant stargrass (Cynodon aethiopicus Clayton & Haylan). However, the numbers of beef cows in this area are increasing rapidly and a grass with higher productivity than giant stargrass is required. The objective of this experiment was to examine the possibility of using pangolagrass (Digitaria decumbens cv. Transvala) pasture in this area

Ligand-Enabled Copper-Catalyzed Regio- and Stereoselective Allylboration of 1-Trifluoromethylalkenes

A copper-catalyzed regio- and stereoselective allylboration of 1-trifluoromethylalkenes with bis(pinacolato)diboron (pinB-Bpin) and allylic chlorides has been developed to form functionalized trifluoromethylated products with high diastereoselectivity. The key to success is the judicious choice of Cs2CO3 base and t-Bu-modified dppe-type ligand, which enables the otherwise challenging high catalyst turnover and suppression of the competing defluorination side reaction from an alkylcopper intermediate. The product derivatization of the resulting Bpin moiety can deliver diverse CF3-containing molecules with high stereochemical fidelity.Kojima Y., Nishii Y., Hirano K.. A copper-catalysed regio- and diastereoselective borylamination of α,β-unsaturated esters with B2pin2 and hydroxylamines has been developed to deliver acyclic β-boryl-α-amino acid derivatives with high anti-diastereoselectivity (up to >99 : 1), which is difficult to obtain by the established methods. A chiral phosphoramidite ligand also successfully induces the enantioselectivity, giving the optically active β-borylated α-amino acids. The products can be stereospecifically transformed into β-functionalised α-amino acids, which are of potent interest in medicinal chemistry.Nishino S., Nishii Y., Hirano K.. anti-Selective synthesis of β-boryl-α-amino acid derivatives by Cu-catalysed borylamination of α,β-unsaturated esters.
