    The Detection Data Processing Mechanism for Vehicular Cyber Physical System in IoT Environment

    With the development of the Internet of Things and big data technology, it was easy to collect personal situation information. The information collected in this way requires the user to support customized services via big data technology. However, traditional situational awareness systems request action through user cognition or provide consistent services for the specific purposes of multiple users. Therefore, this paper proposes a mechanism of Vehicular CPS with situational cognitive function that minimizes direct user intervention for user customization services. In this paper, we designed the system configuration and detailed process based on the scenario of the situation where the user is driving a car. A vector is used to provide a method for determining a dangerous water level by analyzing an abnormal state of a reception threshold with a sensor. The proposed system was analyzed by simulation. By using the authorization step that operates based on the sensor data, we were able to know that the reliability of the user is improved and that the reliable processing of the IoT service is possible. In the future, research for personal authentication and encryption is needed for more secure information processing

    Design of Safety Assurance System of Specific Vehicle Information using ABPRE in the Fog Computing Environment

    There would be high demand for technology that monitors illegal activity and detects risk with respect to vehicles on the road in a future urban traffic system, for accident prevention. However, there may be substantial overheads from the massive amount of data that would be required for the surveillance system as it would be automatically operated and used, as further advancements are made in sensor network technology and IoT (Internet of Things). In the transportation field, systems were mainly studied to measure the driver\u27s drowsiness or mobile phone use. These systems will collect information from several mobile devices at the same time, resulting in overhead of data. Fog computing reduces the overhead of data because it uses distributed proxy servers. However, security aspects were not considered. Encryption can be done to ensure the privacy of the information on the moving vehicles. However, in order to track a specific vehicle the data of the moving vehicles should be provided decrypted or decrypted by the secondary user. In this paper, to solve security aspects, we provide a new DSS model that utilizes ABPRE (Attribute Based Proxy Re-Encryption). The proposed system encrypts data sensed from moving vehicles. The cipher is configured to re-encrypt quickly at the proxy. The proposed method allows only users with access authority via secondary user\u27s properties to access data with attribute-based re-encryption. Therefore, safety is secured

    A Novel Synthetic Analog of 5, 8-Disubstituted Quinazolines Blocks Mitosis and Induces Apoptosis of Tumor Cells by Inhibiting Microtubule Polymerization

    Many mitosis inhibitors are powerful anticancer drugs. Tremendous efforts have been made to identify new anti-mitosis compounds for developing more effective and less toxic anti-cancer drugs. We have identified LJK-11, a synthetic analog of 5, 8-disubstituted quinazolines, as a novel mitotic blocker. LJK-11 inhibited growth and induced apoptosis of many different types of tumor cells. It prevented mitotic spindle formation and arrested cells at early phase of mitosis. Detailed in vitro analysis demonstrated that LJK-11 inhibited microtubule polymerization. In addition, LJK-11 had synergistic effect with another microtubule inhibitor colchicine on blocking mitosis, but not with vinblastine or nocodazole. Therefore, LJK-11 represents a novel anti-microtubule structure. Understanding the function and mechanism of LJK-11 will help us to better understand the action of anti-microtubule agents and to design better anti-cancer drugs

    The Chinese (Cantonese) Montreal Cognitive Assessment in Patients with Subcortical Ischemic Vascular Dementia

    Background: Subcortical ischemic vascular dementia (SIVD) has been proposed as the most frequent subtype of vascular cognitive impairment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Chinese (Cantonese) Montreal Cognitive Assessment (CC- MoCA) in patients with SIVD in the Guangdong Province of China. Methods: 71 SIVD patients and 60 matched controls were recruited for the CC-MoCA, Mini Mental State Examination and executive clock drawing tasks. Receiver-operating characteristic curve analyses were performed to determine optimal sensitivity and specificity of the CC-MoCA total score in differentiating mild vascular dementia (VaD) patients from moderate VaD patients and controls. Results: The mean CC-MoCA scores of the controls, and mild and moderate VaD patients were 25.2 ± 3.8, 16.4 ± 3.7, and 10.0 ± 5.1, respectively. In our study, the optimal cutoff value for the CC-MoCA to be able to differentiate patients with mild VaD from controls is 21/22, and 13/14 to differentiate mild VaD from moderate VaD. Conclusion: The CC-MoCA is a useful cognitive screening instrument in SIVD patients

    Universal critical properties of the Eulerian bond-cubic model

    We investigate the Eulerian bond-cubic model on the square lattice by means of Monte Carlo simulations, using an efficient cluster algorithm and a finite-size scaling analysis. The critical points and four critical exponents of the model are determined for several values of nn. Two of the exponents are fractal dimensions, which are obtained numerically for the first time. Our results are consistent with the Coulomb gas predictions for the critical O(nn) branch for n<2n < 2 and the results obtained by previous transfer matrix calculations. For n=2n=2, we find that the thermal exponent, the magnetic exponent and the fractal dimension of the largest critical Eulerian bond component are different from those of the critical O(2) loop model. These results confirm that the cubic anisotropy is marginal at n=2n=2 but irrelevant for n<2n<2
