Molecular dynamics simulation of the transformation of Fe-Co alloy by machine learning force field based on atomic cluster expansion

The force field describing the calculated interaction between atoms or molecules is the key to the accuracy of many molecular dynamics (MD) simulation results. Compared with traditional or semi-empirical force fields, machine learning force fields have the advantages of faster speed and higher precision. We have employed the method of atomic cluster expansion (ACE) combined with first-principles density functional theory (DFT) calculations for machine learning, and successfully obtained the force field of the binary Fe-Co alloy. Molecular dynamics simulations of Fe-Co alloy carried out using this ACE force field predicted the correct phase transition range of Fe-Co alloy.Comment: 17 pages, 6 figure

A 3.4–3.6 GHz High-Selectivity Filter Chip Based on Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator Technology

The development of mobile 5G technology poses new challenges for high-frequency and high-performance filters. However, current commercial acoustic wave filters mainly focus on 4G LTE, which operates below 3 GHz. It is necessary to accelerate research on high-frequency acoustic wave filters. A high-selectivity film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) filter chip for the 3.4–3.6 GHz range was designed and fabricated in this paper. The design procedure includes FBAR parameter fitting, filter schematic analysis, and the generation principle of transmission zeros (TZs). The measured results show that the filter chip is of high roll-off and stopband suppression. Most of the stopband suppression is better than 35 dB. Finally, error analysis was conducted, and FBAR parameters were modified after testing for future filter design work

Development and Performance Evaluation of a Selective Plugging System for High-Temperature and High-Salinity Water-Bearing Gas Reservoir

In the development of natural gas reservoirs, the water produced in wells will cause a decline in gas well productivity. In this study, a selective frozen gel plugging agent system suitable for water plugging in gas reservoirs under conditions of high temperature and high salinity. The plugging capacity of the gel system was evaluated. The experimental results showed that: (1) the optimal experimental scheme of the frozen gelling system was as follows: 107 °C with 1.0% AM-AMPS +0.6% p-benzenediol +0.6% hexamethylenetetramine +0.2% thiourea. (2) The optimal injection volume of the system for water phase plugging was 0.5 PV, and the system has an excellent plugging effect at a permeability of 356–3118 mD. (3) The system could also effectively improve the degree of heterogeneity, and the smaller the degree of heterogeneity, the better the improvement effect. (4) The gel system had a good effect on different plugging methods, and the gas medium did not affect the plugging performance. This study provides a sufficient theoretical basis for the exploitation of high-temperature and high-salinity water-bearing gas reservoirs through experimental research, which is of great significance for improving production capacity

Aerodynamics of High-Sided Vehicles on Truss Girder Considering Sheltering Effect by Wind Tunnel Tests

Aerodynamic characteristics of vehicles are directly related to their running safety, especially for the high-sided vehicles. In order to study the aerodynamic characteristics under multiple sheltering conditions, a complex large scale (1:20.4) truss model and three high-sided vehicles including articulated lorry, travelling bus and commercial van models with the same scale were built. The aerodynamic coefficients under various sheltering effects of wind barriers with different heights and porosities, bridge tower and the vehicle on the adjacent lane were measured. According to the results, wind barriers can effectively reduce wind speed behind them, thus decreasing the wind load acting on the vehicle, which causes the decrease of the aerodynamic response of all three vehicles. However, the influence at the leeward side is limited due to installation of central stabilizers. When the vehicle passes through the bridge tower, a sudden change occurs, the aerodynamic coefficients decrease and fluctuate in varying degrees, especially for the commercial van. When the vehicle moves in different lanes behind the bridge tower, the sheltering effect of the tower on the aerodynamic coefficient in Lane 1 is much greater than that in Lane 2. With regard to the interference between two vehicles on the adjacent lanes, the relative windward area between the test vehicle and the interference vehicle greatly affects the aerodynamics of the test vehicle

Trajectory Tracking of Autonomous Vehicle Using Clothoid Curve

    No full text
This paper proposes a clothoid-curve-based trajectory tracking control method for autonomous vehicles to solve the problem of tracking errors caused by the discontinuous curvature of the control curve calculated by the pure pursuit tracking algorithm. Firstly, based on the Ackerman steering model, the motion model is constructed for vehicle trajectory tracking, Then, the position of the vehicle after the communication delay of the control system is predicted as the starting point of the clothoid control curve, and the optimization interval of the curve end point is determined. The clothoid control curves are calculated, and their parameters are verified by the vehicle motion and safety constraints, so as to obtain the optimal clothoid control curve satisfying the constraints. Finally, considering the servo system response delay time of the steering system, the steering angle target control value is obtained by previewing the curvature of the clothoid control curve. The field experiment is conducted on the test road, which consists of straight, right-angle turns and lane-change elements under three sets of speed limitations, and the test results show that the proposed clothoid-curve-based trajectory tracking control method greatly improved the tracking accuracy compared with the pure pursuit method; in particular, the yaw deviation is improved by more than 50%
