Politeness Strategies Used by Toba Batak Sellers in Samosir

This study deals with politeness strategies used by toba batak sellers in Samosir. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the types of politeness strategies were used by Toba Batak sellers in Samosir, (2) to investigate the type of politeness strategy was mostly used describe the reasons, (3) to describethe roles of politeness to Toba Batak society, and (4) to describe the implication of politeness strategies. The data of this study were the language of conversation between Toba Batak sellers and their buyers. This study applied descriptive quantitative method. The findings show that there are four types of Politeness Strategies used by Toba Batak Sellers in Samosir, namely: Bald on record4 utterances (2.53%), Off record17 utterances (10.75%), Positivepoliteness 129 utterances (81.64%) and Negativepoliteness 8 utterances (5.06%). Peningkatan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Menggunakan Metode Eja di Sekolah Dasar

The main objective of this research is to improve the reading skills at the beginning of the Indonesian language learning method in class I misspelled State Elementary School 04 Bengkayang. The method used is descriptive method. An increase in the ability of teachers in lesson planning. The average score on the first cycle of 2.81, while the second cycle of 3.6, where there is a difference of 0.79. Improving the ability of teachers in the implementation of learning with an average score of 2.55 in the first cycle, while the second cycle of 3.24, where there is a difference of 1.07 .. increase accuracy take the letter which is the first cycle of 63.8%, while the second cycle of 74.2%, the accuracy of the letters mention that the first cycle of 63.2%, while cycle II of 76.6%, accuracy of spelling syllable is the first cycle of 59.4%, while cycle II of 72.2%, accuracy of reading the word that the first cycle of 57% and cycle II of 70.6%, so it was concluded that the results of the student's ability to read the beginning of the learning Indonesian method considered good spelling

The data that used in this research was secondary data, namely value added, input costs, value of gross output, intermediate costs and number of workers in period 1997-2008. Pelaksanaan Program “Kelurahan Siaga Aktif” Dalam Mewujudkan Kemandirian Masyarakat (Studi Di Kelurahan Winongo Kecamatan Manguharjo Kota Madiun)

: Implementation of the Program “Kelurahan Siaga Aktif” in realizing Independent Society (A study in Kelurahan Winongo, Kecamatan Manguharjo Kota Madiun). Everyone needs healthy. Yet, it's different in Kelurahan Winongo, Kecamatan Manguharjo, Madiun city. The local government could commit one of the health service that is Program Desa Siaga Aktif/Kelurahan Siaga Aktif well. This research concerns with the way that program is run in the village included the supporting as well as inhibiting factors. The research proves the ways Kelurahan Winongo runs the health service program, there are 6 (six) stages which are passed through, they are preparation, impementation program, monitroting and evaluation, approach to development and improvement. The stakeholders of this program are government, private sector, LSM (lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat/Non Governmental Organisation), PKK team and Kelurahan Winongo. The program affects is, they can stand alone, the community feel more healty, UKBM good quaity, furthermore Manguharjo Public Health Center runs as well as the SOP. Yet there internal probelems are the human resource and the patient (community), while the external problems include the finance, at the some time some figures in the community private sector, LSM (Non Governmental Organisation, paramedics, and govermental legal foundation
