<p>Abstract</p> <p>Objectives</p> <p>It is to describe an immunocompetent adult patient with hepatitis and Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) after Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection. In the initial course of the diagnosis and treatment, CMV infection was ignored.</p> <p>Case report</p> <p>A 19-year-old Chinese girl complained of fatigue with pain and numbness of the limbs, with abnormal liver function. She was diagnosed as a case of GBS based on history, clinical findings and auxiliary examinations. On day 13 of admission, her liver function was still abnormal. So CMV was recommended to examine. CMV hepatitis was diagnosed on positive serum anti-CMV IgG and IgM antibodies. The case was improved only with intravenous immunoglobulin therapy, without the use of antiviral therapy.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>This case showed an immunocompetent adult patient with hepatitis and GBS induced by CMV. The physicians should take into account multi-system involvement of severe CMV infection.</p

Research on Efficiency of Collaborative Allocation System of Emergency Material Based on Synergetic Theory

AbstractEmergencies increasingly become so comprehensive covering large areas and derivative that a single organization can not meet the requirement of emergency disposition. Therefore, collaborative allocation of emergency material involving multi-organizations becomes one of the key content of emergency management. The collaborative allocation system of emergency material has the characteristics of complex system. Based on synergetic theory of systems engineering and the actual problem of low efficiency of collaborative allocation of emergency material in our country, the key factors influencing efficiency improvement are analyzed in respect of people, organization, material, information, technology and strategy. By adopting and improving QSIM (qualitative simulation method), the inner action mechanism is studied and the conclusion is that the responsibility and authority definition, the coordination ability of decision-makers and information transmission efficiency are the most important factors for the efficiency of collaborative allocation. The measures set forth in this paper are for the reference of relevant decision-makers and we hope it can be helpful for their decision making

Translation of XML applications to VoiceXML applications.

XML, the eXtensible Markup Language, is used widely and in many different ways. With the explosive growth of the World Wide Web, XML is becoming a universal accepted format for document publishing and data exchange. Voice access to a wealth of information has been challenging. Besides for visually impaired people, the need for speech is greatly increased by restrictions imposed by circumstance. However, the development of speech applications has been hindered by a lack of easy-to-use standard tools for managing the dialogue between user and computer as well as its expensive development and deployment. VoiceXML, the Voice eXtensible Markup Language, is based on XML. It provides a high-level programming interface to speech and telephony resources for creating distributed voice applications. Our objective is to investigate means, techniques, and common patterns to build a generalized mapping model for the transformation from XML to VXML. This model is used to simplify the development of speech applications, especially for voice access and input of information in the XML documents. We present GATXV & XVMA, a generic architecture and a mapping algorithm of translating XML to VXML. They are designed to allow non-speech-experts to build and use VoiceXML to input data in a specified XML format or access such XML data via voice. This approach is absorption of the component technologies, the relevant information sources, and the user interface. The generic architecture and algorithm cover comprehensive considerations on speech user interface design and mapping strategies in the translation process. Objective:To build a comprehensive monitoring and controlling index system for public Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospitals in city from the perspective of service hospital leadership decision, , to monitor the development of the hospital running and to warn medical quality and the security issues, in order to provide ideas for promoting the coordinated development of the hospital, and strengthening scientific management. Subjects and Methods: Based on the study on Luoyang Orthopedics Hospital, we build Chinese Medicine Hospital monitoring and controlling framework of indicators through literature analysis and expert interviews, and use Delphi method for indicators screening. Results: Establish a monitoring and controlling index system for the public TCM Hospitals in city which includes 6 dimensions such as medical quality, hospital safety, characteristics Chinese medicine treatment, operational performance, innovation ability, human resources, 20 second-class indicators, and 72 third-class indicators. Discuss: The quantification and maneuverability of monitoring and controlling index system reflects the operational needs and characteristics of TCM Hospitals and conforms to the national reform orientation for public hospitals, which probably has important reference values in reinforcing the scientific management and evaluation of the public hospitals
