In the title compound, [Cd(NO3)2(C4H5N3)2(H2O)2]·H2O, the Cd atom is seven-coordinated by two 2-aminopyrimidine molecules, two water molecules, one bidentate nitrate anion and one monodentate nitrate anion. A network of N—H⋯O, N—H⋯N and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds helps to consolidate the crystal structure

Robust inference on effects attributable to mediators: A controlled-direct-effect-based approach for causal effect decomposition with multiple mediators

    Get PDF
Effect decomposition is a critical technique for mechanism investigation in settings with multiple causally ordered mediators. Causal mediation analysis is a standard method for effect decomposition, but the assumptions required for the identification process are extremely strong. By extending the framework of controlled direct effects, this study proposes the effect attributable to mediators (EAM) as a novel measure for effect decomposition. For policy making, EAM represents how much an effect can be eliminated by setting mediators to certain values. From the perspective of mechanism investigation, EAM contains information about how much a particular mediator or set of mediators is involved in the causal mechanism through mediation, interaction, or both. The assumptions of EAM for identification are considerably weaker than the those of causal mediation analysis. We develop a semiparametric estimator of EAM with robustness to model misspecification. The asymptotic property is fully realized. We applied EAM to assess the magnitude of the effect of hepatitis C virus infection on mortality, which was eliminated by controlling alanine aminotransferase and treating hepatocellular carcinoma

A study on Impressiveness Management of Internet Celebrities

    Get PDF
The issue of social media has attracted much attention in the fields of information management and marketing. Recently, the live webcast service newly introduced on social media has renewed the issues. With the increasing popularity of social media, the live webcast service provides more opportunities of higher interactivity to Internet celebrities to communicate with Internet users. With frequent interaction with Internet users, the Internet celebrities construct their self-images and build a long-term personal reputation. Therefore, how Internet celebrities enhance their self-image and personal reputation is an interesting research issue. Specifically, this study intends to investigate how Internet celebrities employ personal impressiveness management to improve their personal image and branding. The corporate reputation formation framework was employed as the theoretical perspective to investigate Internet celebrities’ personal impressiveness management through social media

Key Factors to Increasing Free Cash Flow for Manufacturers Utilizing Lean Production: An AHP-DEMATEL Approach

    Get PDF
This paper aims to apply AHP and DEMATEL to analyze the key factors and interrelationships of lean production to increase free cash flow for manufacturers. The AHP hierarchy was determined through literature and interviews with leading management experts. The assessment criteria were categorized into five major criteria and 15 sub-criteria, including production, sales, human resources, R&D, and finance. According to the AHP results, the first eight key factors were identified as the key factors to increasing cash flow for manufacturers who utilized lean production. DEMATEL was used to identify the interactions among the eight key factors and further identify the four more important ones. The four key factors are strategic planning, strategic deployment, leadership, and goal orientation. This paper proposes management implications and improvement suggestions for the four key factors and their interactions

The influence of the internet on catering and accommodation industry efficiency

    Get PDF
Accommodation and catering industry efficiencies have been widely evaluated from destination, market concentration, and catering supply chain management perspectives; however, few studies have dynamically evaluated the overall accommodation and catering industry efficiencies under the influence of the internet. Therefore, to go some way to filling this research gap, this study used catering and accommodation industry data and related internet data from 31 Chinese provinces from 2012 to 2016 and employed a Dynamic DDF DEA model to evaluate the catering and accommodation industry efficiencies and the influence of the rising internet connections. It found that: 1. the overall catering and accommodation revenue efficiencies were higher when the internet connection inputs were considered; and 2. there were significant catering and accommodation income distribution differences between the eastern, central and western regions, with higher efficiencies being found in the more developed east

KINEMATICS ANALYSIS OF THE UPPER EXTREMITY DURING THE TWOHANDED BACKHAND DRIVE VOLLEY FOR FEMALE TENNIS PLAYERS

The purpose of this study was to discuss the motion characteristics of the arms in the two-handed backhand drive volley. Five elite female tennis players participated in this study, their two-handed backhand drive volley strokes were analysed, and all participants are right handed. Motion Analysis System with 10 Eagle Digital inferred high speed cameras at 200Hz were used for this study. The results show a similar elbow and wrist speed strategy in x-axis between two-handed ground stroke and drive volley, our study also found that the rear arm dominates the stroke and mainly provide the topspin that is required for the skill of the drive volley. In order to create better stroke efficiency, the right elbow reached peak velocity first, followed by the right wrist before racket impact with the ball

Sustainable Solution for Shoring Method of Cross-Creek Bridge in Ankeng MRT System in New Taipei City: A Case Study

    Get PDF
In the Ankeng Light Rail MRT system (ALRMS) project, the U7 box girder passes crossing the Erbads creek and needs a temporary supporting system for the construction work.  In this study, three temporary shoring system options were proposed to be the construction method.  The D-B Contractor, New Asia construction and Development Corporation, evaluated and selected the optimal choice, The Steel truss frame with supporting beams, to serve as the temporary supporting system.  Compare the deflection of Δmax and Δactual, which are 1.609 cm and 1.59 cm, respectively.  This result presented that the shoring system composed of the H912*302*18*37 supporting beams and steel truss frame had achieved outstanding performance and work to construct the U7 box girder.  This paper presents how the three options are evaluated and the detailed construction processes along with the survey verification for the method
