Bandpass filters with mixed hairpin and patch resonators

    Get PDF
This paper presents a new implementation technique of transmission zeros in an in-line coupled filter. Neither cross couplings between non-adjacent resonators nor separate side-line resonators have been used. Instead a mixture of single-mode hairpin resonators and dual-mode patch resonators have been adopted in a bandpass filter with one asymmetric transmission zero. The introduction of the patch led to an improved frequency selectivity through an independently controllable transmission zero. This approach has been verified by a three-pole filter at 2.6 GHz with 8% bandwidth and a transmission zero at 2.4 GHz. Good agreement has been shown between the measurements and the simulation

It took nearly 35 years for the medical work of Dr. Quan Bakk is finally known the social and medical problem in the southern region of Madagascar. It was a Lutheran missionary began their mission early 1979 the southern part of Madagascar. After, doing his mission in the United States. The same year he went to the southern part of Madagascar and was assigned almost close to this region. An Ejeda one district of the southern region of Madagascar, he was commented on project management and implementation of all Lutheran Medical Center, The southern population was in a rural society almost totally isolated from outside influences.Currently the project management is developed in all regions of Madagascar and the main mission is to proclaim the gospel and the good news of Jesus around the world in the health world. The SALFA has set as one element capable and robust for their mission, vision is based on the extension of project management and denominational health organization with a reference system of adequate and sustainable management .The medical point of view, the SALFA contributed to health and social, mental and spiritual development in the world. Madagascar including all subdivisions regional Synod FLM that through the project nationwide. The representative body of all health centers FLM with the Ministry of Health, Family Planning and Social Protection, and it is governed by Decree No. 3157/87 of 16 July SAN-1987. The representative body of all health centers with FLM agencies and national and international technical partners. The SALFA, being a religious state, is under the supervision of Chairman of the Central Board of the Malagasy Lutheran Church. Keywords: project, management, Lutheran Church

Madagascar is among the richest in mineral materials worldwide. Currently four percent of mines are operated only. Almost in all lands contain mines. The Malagasy people believe that mining is the main cause of the development of industry in Madagascar. Currently there Ambatovy project is one of the most ambitious in the history of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean region industrial companies. The Ambatovy project has received certification for its products in accordance with ISO 9001, the internationally recognized standard for management systems and operational quality. Before long, and during the next three decades, the annual output of the project Ambatovy exploit large quantities of nickel and cobalt refined. The Ambatovy project provides normative management process for the results of mining. The Ambatovy project is to create a long-term prosperity for all stakeholders, and to make a significant contribution. It will soon become one of the largest lateritic nickel mines in the world. The management process should experience stronger growth for the duration of the project, reflecting the start of Ambatovy project. The Mine Project nickel and cobalt high production capacity management process. Shareholders, investors should monitor the process of knowledge management to enjoy the economic interests of development and assimilation between the potential investor and the Malagasy state. Management process or Ambatovy project and marks the beginning of a long period of mining and process management technically evaluates the financial and personal administration for the duration of the project. Refining of nickel and cobalt in Madagascar itself is a commitment by industry and benefit the country's economic value added from such exploitation. Keywords: process, management, project

Microstrip diplexers with dual-mode patch resonant junctions

    Get PDF
A conventional diplexer is made up of two channel filters which are connected to a transmission-line based signal distribution network. In this work, a novel diplexer has been proposed and designed using hairpin resonator filters that are joined together using a patch resonator. The patch being a dual-mode is made to resonate at the centre frequencies of the channel filters in corresponding modes. The patch functions as a signal splitter and at the same time as a resonant pole for each of the channel filters. A diplexer with the channel centre frequencies of 3.99 GHz and 4.39 GHz and 4% fractional bandwidth has been designed and tested. The simulated and measured results show very good agreements

Microstrip wideband diplexer with narrow guard band based on all-resonator structures

    Get PDF
This paper presents a wideband microstrip diplexer with adjacent channels based on an all-resonator structure. The diplexer demonstrates an overall bandwidth of 23.7% between 1.71 GHz and 2.17 GHz and a narrow guard band of only 40 MHz. Two trisection resonator structures are introduced to generate asymmetric transmission zeros to increase isolation between the two channels. The coupling matrix for the all-resonator diplexer is acquired. The diplexer is designed and fabricated on a Rogers RO4003C substrate. The measured results show insertion losses of 1.31 dB and 1.2 dB in the two channels, and an isolation of over 28 dB. These results are in good agreement with the simulation

Efficient variational approach to the Fermi polaron problem in two dimensions, both in and out of equilibrium

We develop a non-Gaussian variational approach that enables us to study both equilibrium and far-from-equilibrium physics of the two-dimensional Fermi polaron. This method provides an unbiased analysis of the polaron-to-molecule phase transition without relying on truncations in the total number of particle-hole excitations. Our results -- which include the ground state energy and quasiparticle residue -- are in qualitative agreement with the known Monte Carlo calculations. The main advantage of the non-Gaussian states compared to conventional numerical methods is that they enable us to explore long-time polaron evolution and, in particular, study various spectral properties accessible to both solid-state and ultracold atom experiments. We design two types of radiofrequency spectroscopies to measure polaronic and molecular spectral functions. Depending on the parameter regime, we find that these spectral functions and fermionic density profiles near the impurity display either long-lived oscillations between the repulsive and attractive polaron branches or exhibit fast relaxational dynamics to the molecular state.Comment: 12 pages, 7 figure

Cross-Resolution Flow Propagation for Foveated Video Super-Resolution

The demand of high-resolution video contents has grown over the years. However, the delivery of high-resolution video is constrained by either computational resources required for rendering or network bandwidth for remote transmission. To remedy this limitation, we leverage the eye trackers found alongside existing augmented and virtual reality headsets. We propose the application of video super-resolution (VSR) technique to fuse low-resolution context with regional high-resolution context for resource-constrained consumption of high-resolution content without perceivable drop in quality. Eye trackers provide us the gaze direction of a user, aiding us in the extraction of the regional high-resolution context. As only pixels that falls within the gaze region can be resolved by the human eye, a large amount of the delivered content is redundant as we can't perceive the difference in quality of the region beyond the observed region. To generate a visually pleasing frame from the fusion of high-resolution region and low-resolution region, we study the capability of a deep neural network of transferring the context of the observed region to other regions (low-resolution) of the current and future frames. We label this task a Foveated Video Super-Resolution (FVSR), as we need to super-resolve the low-resolution regions of current and future frames through the fusion of pixels from the gaze region. We propose Cross-Resolution Flow Propagation (CRFP) for FVSR. We train and evaluate CRFP on REDS dataset on the task of 8x FVSR, i.e. a combination of 8x VSR and the fusion of foveated region. Departing from the conventional evaluation of per frame quality using SSIM or PSNR, we propose the evaluation of past foveated region, measuring the capability of a model to leverage the noise present in eye trackers during FVSR. Code is made available at https://github.com/eugenelet/CRFP.Comment: 12 pages, 8 figures, to appear in IEEE/CVF Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV) 202
