This study examined the simple and multiple relationships of defensive self presentation tactics with imposter syndrome in graduate students of Shahid Chamran University (Ahvaz- Iran). Five handred subjects were randomly selected for this study from which 200 subjects were randomly sellected for the scale validation phase. Subjects completed 2 scales: Clance Imposter Phenomenon Scale (CIPS) and Defensive Self- Presentation. The results of the research indicated that defensive self- presentation tactics have a positive Correlation with imposter syndrome. In addition, multiple correlation of defensive self- presentation tactics with imposter syndrome was statistically significant. In male graduate students, self- handicapping was the best predictors of imposter syndrome, and in female graduate students self- handicapping and excuses were the best predictors of imposter syndrome

The quality of the oil of four safflower varieties, originating from Spain (Rancho), India (Sharda) and Morocco (Cartamar and Cartafri), which were cultivated at the experimental station in Oujda (a semi-arid region of eastern Morocco) was evaluated through analysis of their phenolic and carotenoid contents. The composition of the phenolic compounds of safflower oil has not yet been documented. Therefore, in this preliminary study, Thirty different phenolic compounds were identified, and significant differences between the oil varieties were observed (P < 0.05). In the seed oil from the Rancho and Sharda safflower varieties, the main phenolic compound was trans-chalcone, representing 13.45% and 11.8%, respectively, of the total phenolics, whereas in Cartamar and Cartafri oils, naringin accounted for 26.82% and 16.5%, respectively, of the total phenolics. The total carotenoid contents ranged from 1.13 mg/kg (Rancho) to 1.34 mg/kg (Cartamar and Cartafri). We observed that b-cryptoxanthin (0.31–0.37 mg/kg) and b-carotene (0.3–0.35 mg/kg) were the predominant carotenoids in all of the safflower oils that were studied

Abstract Background This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of the HIV-PMTCT program in Kermanshah, west of Iran, from 2014 to 2021. Methods The data of all HIV-infected mothers and their infants who were monitored by the Kermanshah behavioral diseases counseling center was extracted and recorded in a checklist. Results Out of 95 included infant, 45 (47.4%) were girls and 50 (52.6%) were boys. The mothers were mostly infected with HIV via their infected spouse. The pregnancies of 77 cases (82.1%) were in accordance with the national guideline. The average length of treatment for this group was 185 days. Of the 18 mothers who did not receive treatment, nine were diagnosed during childbirth and nine had no available information. All infants born from infected mothers underwent after-birth-antiretroviral prophylaxis, and all remained healthy. There was no statistically significant relationship between the birth weight and height of neonates with maternal age, maternal last viral load, disease stage, education, and maternal CD4 levels. Only a statistically significant relationship was observed between the duration of treatment and the infants’ weight. Conclusion The results suggest the feasibility and effectiveness of the PMTCT program for HIV-positive mothers in Kermanshah. It seems that if pregnant HIV-positive women are diagnosed early and covered by a good prevention program on time, the risk of HIV to their babies will be reduced, significantly
