    Research on the Application Strategy of Virtual Reality Technology under the Background of Media Integration -- Take Chinese Minnan Culture Short Video as an Example

    In this study, an experiment was designed to verify the communication effects and impacts of virtual reality technology on the viewers of a short video on Minnan cultural content. A control experiment and a questionnaire survey were chosen as the main research methods. According to the requirements of the experiment, the research subjects meeting the requirements were selected and divided into the control group and the experimental group. At the end of the experiment, a questionnaire survey was conducted on all the participants. The results and data of the questionnaire were analyzed at the end.By analyzing the data from the results of the questionnaire and with almost similar other variables in the control group, the minor effects of some subjective and objective factors on the experiment were excluded. The samples of the two groups showed significant differences in all eight items of the questionnaire, including the degree of interest in the content of the short videos, the richness of the content of the short videos, the rating of the degree of integration of the traditional culture and the short videos, the rating of the sense of visual experience and satisfaction with the content of this part of the short videos, the willingness to create this kind of short videos, the likelihood of recommending this kind of short videos to your family members or friends, the complete explanation of the connotation of traditional culture by using the short videos, and whether or not it will attract you to watch the similar content the next time, and the question of whether the traditional culture is fully explained through the short videos.It was found by analyzing the result data of this experiment and the questionnaire survey conducted after the experiment. Compared with Group B who watched the short video of Minnan culture supported by virtual reality technology, the audience of Group A had a better sense of video viewing and content experience, and gained a better viewing and using experience. This method makes traditional culture better disseminated and presented with the help of virtual reality technology. Therefore, we believe that combining virtual reality technology with short videos of Minnan culture can better spread the traditional culture of Minnan. And virtual reality technology has the characteristics of low cost and easy to operate. It is convenient for short video creators to choose and create

    Using YouTube as the platform and rural short videos as the entry point, this study investigates how Chinese rural short videos empower the external dissemination of Chinese culture on the YouTube platform. By using comparative analysis and content analysis research methods to select samples and construct categories, the aim is to compare rural and non rural themed Chinese short videos, as well as the similarities and differences in text structure and symbol types between Chinese rural short videos and foreign rural short videos, to analyze the empowerment of rural elements combined with different themes, and to summarize the dissemination content characteristics of Chinese rural short videos that have successfully gained popularity on the YouTube platform

    S-T CRF: Spatial-Temporal Conditional Random Field for Human Trajectory Prediction

    Trajectory prediction is of significant importance in computer vision. Accurate pedestrian trajectory prediction benefits autonomous vehicles and robots in planning their motion. Pedestrians' trajectories are greatly influenced by their intentions. Prior studies having introduced various deep learning methods only pay attention to the spatial and temporal information of trajectory, overlooking the explicit intention information. In this study, we introduce a novel model, termed the \textbf{S-T CRF}: \textbf{S}patial-\textbf{T}emporal \textbf{C}onditional \textbf{R}andom \textbf{F}ield, which judiciously incorporates intention information besides spatial and temporal information of trajectory. This model uses a Conditional Random Field (CRF) to generate a representation of future intentions, greatly improving the prediction of subsequent trajectories when combined with spatial-temporal representation. Furthermore, the study innovatively devises a space CRF loss and a time CRF loss, meticulously designed to enhance interaction constraints and temporal dynamics, respectively. Extensive experimental evaluations on dataset ETH/UCY and SDD demonstrate that the proposed method surpasses existing baseline approaches

    Ursolic Acid Inhibits Proliferation and Induces Apoptosis of Cancer Cells In Vitro and In Vivo

    The aims of the study are to explore the effect of ursolic acid (UA) on the growth of gastric cancer cell line BGC-803 and hepatocellular cancer cell H22 xenograft and to understand the mechanism. UA inhibits growth of BGC-803 cells in vitro in dose-dependent and time-dependent manner. Treated with UA in vivo, tumor cells can be arrested to G0/G1 stage. The apoptotic rate was significantly increased in tumor cells treated with UA both in vitro and in vivo. DNA fragmentation was found in BGC-803 cells exposed to UA. UA activated caspase-3, -8, and -9 and down regulated expression of Bcl-2 in BGC-803 cells. The expression of caspase-3 and -8 was elevated in tumor cells from xenograft treated with UA. 18F-FLT PET-CT imaging confirmed tumor model and UA effectiveness. Our results indicated that UA inhibits growth of tumor cells both in vitro and in vivo by decreasing proliferation of cells and inducing apoptosis

    A novel target detection method for SAR images based on shadow proposal and saliency analysis

    Conventional synthetic aperture radar (SAR) based target detection methods generally use high intensity pixels in the pre-screening stage while ignoring shadow information. Furthermore, they cannot accurately extract the target area and also have poor performance in cluttered environments. To solve this problem, a novel SAR target detection method which combines shadow proposal and saliency analysis is presented in this paper. The detection process is divided into shadow proposal, saliency detection and One-Class Support Vector Machine (OC-SVM) screening stages. In the shadow proposal stage, localizing targets is performed rst with the detected shadow regions to generate proposal chips that may contain potential targets. Then saliency detection is conducted to extract salient regions of the proposal chips using local spatial autocorrelation and signicance tests. Afterwards, in the last stage, the OC-SVM is employed to identify the real targets from the salient regions. Experimental results show that the proposed saliency detection method possesses higher detection accuracy than several state of the art methods on SAR images. Furthermore, the proposed SAR target detection method is demonstrated to be robust under dierent imaging environments. to extract salient regions of the proposal chips using local spatial autocorrelation and signicance tests.
