THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TEACHERS' PERCEPTIONS OF THE PRINCIPAL'S TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND THEIR JOB SATISFACTION IN WULANCHABU HENGSHUI ZHUOYUAN MIDDLE SCHOOL, CHINA
This study aimed to determine the relationship between teachers' perceptions of the principal's transformational leadership and their job satisfaction at Wulan Chabu Hengshui Zhuoyuan Middle School, China. The study surveyed 61 full-time teachers in the academic year of 2020. The findings showed that the teachers' perceptions of the principal's transformational leadership style was high. In contrast, the teachers' job satisfaction level at Wulan Chabu Hengshui Zhuoyuan Middle School was moderate. The correlation analysis result showed a strong positive relationship between teachers' perceptions of the principal's transformational leadership style and their job satisfaction at Wulan Chabu Hengshui Zhuoyuan Middle School, China, as the r = 0.945, p < 0.001
A New Method for Fast Computation of Moments Based on 8-neighbor Chain CodeApplied to 2-D Objects Recognition
2D moment invariants have been successfully applied in pattern recognition tasks. The main difficulty of using moment invariants is the computational burden. To improve the algorithm of moments computation through an iterative method, an approach for fast computation of moments based on the 8-neighbor chain code is proposed in this paper. Then artificial neural networks are applied for 2D shape recognition with moment invariants. Compared with the method of polygonal approximation, this approach shows higher accuracy in shape representation and faster recognition speed in experiment
Research on Assessment Method of Fire Protection System
AbstractSafety assessment of fire protection (SAFP) is a very important approach in fire safety management. Effectiveness and reliability are crucial to the SAFP, which has endowed the study of the assessment methods significant meaning. A new quantitative method named theoretical safety control method, based on modern control theory, was studied in the paper. Dynamic models, assessment indexes and analysis approaches of every index of the SAFP were put forward and three dynamic indexes, that are System Hazard Index-H, Control Capacity Index-C and Safety Degree-S which changed with the system states and presented the conflicting consequence between hazards and controlling of fire protection system, were used to evaluate the results of the method. This method can realize dynamic and quantitative management and the fire protection system controlling. A case study was defined and assessed by using the method in this paper, and the results of evaluation were viable compared with the actual situation
The Study of Relationship between Transport Category Aircraft and Aircraft Engine Type Certification
AbstractThis paper thoroughly studied the relationship between transport category aircraft and aircraft engine type certification. The installation consideration in aircraft engine certification and the use of substantiation data provided by engine manufacture in transport category aircraft certification were discussed. The potential certification principles for domestic civil aircraft certification program were proposed. And finally, the vision of future cooperation and coordination between domestic aircraft and engine certification offices was presented
Exact solution of gyration radius of individual's trajectory for a simplified human mobility model
Gyration radius of individual's trajectory plays a key role in quantifying
human mobility patterns. Of particular interests, empirical analyses suggest
that the growth of gyration radius is slow versus time except the very early
stage and may eventually arrive to a steady value. However, up to now, the
underlying mechanism leading to such a possibly steady value has not been well
understood. In this Letter, we propose a simplified human mobility model to
simulate individual's daily travel with three sequential activities: commuting
to workplace, going to do leisure activities and returning home. With the
assumption that individual has constant travel speed and inferior limit of time
at home and work, we prove that the daily moving area of an individual is an
ellipse, and finally get an exact solution of the gyration radius. The
analytical solution well captures the empirical observation reported in [M. C.
Gonz`alez et al., Nature, 453 (2008) 779]. We also find that, in spite of the
heterogeneous displacement distribution in the population level, individuals in
our model have characteristic displacements, indicating a completely different
mechanism to the one proposed by Song et al. [Nat. Phys. 6 (2010) 818].Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
