Lipid metabolism in rheumatism in combination with coronary heart disease had significant signs of imbalance. In patients with rheumatic disease and coronary heart disease compared to patients with rheumatism only or with coronary heart disease only changes in lipid metabolism activating the risk of atherosclerotic changes were noted. In particular a significant increase in triglycerides, low density lipoproteins and very low density lipoproteins was registered
