On Goldstone bosons decoupling from high-lying hadrons
In this paper, we discuss a decoupling of the Goldstone bosons from highly
excited hadrons in relation to the restoration of chiral symmetry in such
hadrons. We use a generalised Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with the interaction
between quarks in the form of an instantaneous Lorentz-vector confining
potential. This model is known to provide spontaneous breaking of chiral
symmetry in the vacuum via the standard selfenergy loops for valence quarks.
For highly excited hadrons, where the typical momentum of valence quarks is
large, the loop contributions represent only a small correction to the
chiral-invariant classical contributions and asymptotically vanish.
Consequently the chiral symmetry violating Lorentz-scalar dynamical mass of
quarks vanishes. Then the conservation of the axial vector current in the
chiral limit requires, via the Goldberger-Treiman relation, that the valence
quarks decouple from the Goldstone boson. As a consequence, the whole hadron
decouples from the Goldstone boson as well, which implies that its axial

Chiral symmetry restoration in excited hadrons, quantum fluctuations, and quasiclassics
In this paper, we discuss the transition to the semiclassical regime in
excited hadrons, and consequently, the restoration of chiral symmetry for these
states. We use a generalised Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with the interaction

has been shown recently that the effective single-quark potential is of the

restoration of chiral symmetry. We demonstrate explicitly the quantum nature of
chiral symmetry breaking, the absence of chiral symmetry breaking in the
classical limit as well as the transition to the semiclassical regime for
excited states, where the effect of chiral symmetry breaking becomes only a

NECESSITY OF AGE-RELATED STANDARDS FOR IMMUNE PHENOTYPING OF BLOOD CELLS FOR MONITORING OF HEALTH IN CHILDREN BORN BY HIV-INFECTED WOMEN
Considering the increase in number of HIV-infected women of childbearing age this study was aimed at a comparison of CD-phenotype of children born by infected mothers with age standards obtained during the analysis of the functional state of the immune system of healthy children differing by sex and age in the Perm region. 133 children from infected mothers at the age from 1 month to 4 years and 53 clinically healthy children were examined. Among the peripheral blood lymphocytes of children the numbers of CD3+-T-lymphocytes, CD3+CD4+-T-helpers, CD3+CD8+-cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, CD3-CD19+-B-lymphocytes, CD3-CD16+/56+-NK-cells were identified. The increase in the functional activity of the immune system of the risk group was reliably determined. In HIV-positive children of 1 to 6 months and 1 to 4 years the increase in the absolute number of leukocytes, lymphocytes, T-lymphocytes, cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, B-lymphocytes was oserved as compared with their healthy coevals. By contrast, under similar comparison within the age group of 6 to 12 months the decrease in percentage of lymphocytes and absolute number of NK-cells was determined. Gender-based division of children under study supported the necessity in taking into account this factor yet in this early age. It was shown that both in perinatal contact and under the progression of HIV infection the reaction of male and female bodies differed. Data obtained from the phenotyping of blood from healthy children in the city of Perm were compared with those provided from American and Chinese investigations. Resulting differences primarily depended on the age range of the children and were frequently related to the absolute cell number that expressed definite markers. Results evidence for the necessity in further temporal specification under the assessment of the state of the immune system in children, and allow developing new criteria for immune system monitoring under the risk of vertical route of HIV infection
Baryon magnetic moments in the QCD string approach
Magnetic moments of baryons composed of light and strange quarks are computed
for the first time through the only parameter of the model -- string tension

Baryon magnetic moments in the effective quark Lagrangian approach
An effective quark Lagrangian is derived from first principles through
bilocal gluon field correlators. It is used to write down equations for
baryons, containing both perturbative and nonperturbative fields. As a result
one obtains magnetic moments of octet and decuplet baryons without introduction
of constituent quark masses and using only string tension as an input. Magnetic
moments come out on average in reasonable agreement with experiment, except for
nucleons and . The predictions for the proton and neutron are shown
to be in close agreement with the empirical values once we choose the string
tension such to yield the proper nucleon mass. Pionic corrections to the
nucleon magnetic moments have been estimated. In particular, the total result
of the two-body current contributions are found to be small. Inclusion of the
anomalous magnetic moment contributions from pion and kaon loops leads to an

Nuclear matter at high density: Phase transitions, multiquark states, and supernova outbursts
Phase transition from hadronic matter to quark-gluon matter is discussed for
various regimes of temperature and baryon number density. For small and medium
densities, the phase transition is accurately described in the framework of the
Field Correlation Method, whereas at high density predictions are less certain
and leave room for the phenomenological models. We study formation of
multiquark states (MQS) at zero temperature and high density. Relevant MQS
components of the nuclear matter can be described using a previously developed
formalism of the quark compound bags (QCB).
Partial-wave analysis of nucleon-nucleon scattering indicates the existence
of 6QS which manifest themselves as poles of -matrix. In the framework of
the QCB model, we formulate a self-consistent system of coupled equations for
the nucleon and 6QS propagators in nuclear matter and the G-matrix. The
approach provides a link between high-density nuclear matter with the MQS
components and the cumulative effect observed in reactions on the nuclei, which
requires the admixture of MQS in the wave functions of nuclei kinematically.
6QS determine the natural scale of the density for a possible phase
transition into the MQS phase of nuclear matter. Such a phase transition can
lead to dynamic instability of newly born protoneutron stars and dramatically
affect the dynamics of supernovae. Numerical simulations show that the phase
transition may be a good remedy for the triggering supernova explosions in the
spherically symmetric supernova models. A specific signature of the phase
transition is an additional neutrino peak in the neutrino light curve. For a
Galactic core-collapse supernova, such a peak could be resolved by the present
neutrino detectors. The possibility of extracting the parameters of the phase

Relevance. Currently, food products that include prebiotics, in particular, inulin, are particularly popular. Interest in this substance is justified by its valuable properties – it is a good immunomodulator, cleanses the body of toxins, radionuclides, "bad" cholesterol, promotes the assimilation of useful trace elements necessary for human life. Inulin is contained in plants such as jerusalem artichoke, chicory, as well as in sweet potatoes, the popularity of which is increasing every year. However, sweet potato plants are afraid of cold and frost-resistant. Therefore, the creation of new varieties and hybrids that are resistant to low temperatures is an urgent problem. Cellular biotechnology is aimed at solving this problem using methods of clonal microreproduction, cell selection, somatic hybridization, etc. For rapid reproduction and obtaining high-quality planting material, biotechnology methods are used, in particular, clonal micro-propagation. However, in this technology there are difficulties associated with poor adaptation of microclones to ex vitro conditions. This fact introduces an additional requirement for the selection of optimal rooting modes in vitro and ex vitro adaptation of microclones.Material and methodology. The aim of the work was to study the influence of cultivation conditions on in vitro rooting and ex vitro adaptation of I. batatas (L.) microclones. The object of the study was sweet potato microgears propagated in vitro. I. batatas micro-gears were cultured in vitro on a Murashige-Skug medium, differing by the type of auxins. The influence of red (R) and far red (FR) light on the shoots rooting in vitro and the adaptation of microclones ex vitro was studied.Results. It has been experimentally established that the cultivation of micro-gears on a medium containing indolyl butyric acid at a concentration of 0.5-1 mg/l and under conditions of illumination by LED lamps of red and far red light in equal amounts leads to the production of microclones with a well-developed root system and vegetative biomass. The use of an aeroponic installation at the last stage of clonal micro-propagation makes it possible to obtain high-quality planting material that can adapt well to open ground conditions.Актуальность. В настоящее время особой популярностью пользуются продукты питания, в состав которых входят пребиотики, в частности, инулин. Интерес к данному веществу оправдан его ценными свойствами – он является хорошим иммуномодулятором, очищает организм от токсинов, радионуклидов, «плохого» холестерина, способствует усвоению полезных микроэлементов, необходимых для жизнедеятельности человека. Инулин содержится в таких растениях, как топинамбур, цикорий, а также в батате, популярность которого с каждым годом возрастает. Однако растения батата боятся холода и неморозоустойчивы. Поэтому создание новых сортов и гибридов, обладающих устойчивостью к пониженным температурам является актуальной проблемой. Клеточная биотехнология направлена на решение данной проблемы с применением методов клонального микроразмножения, клеточной селекции, соматической гибридизации и др. Для быстрого размножения и получения высококачественного посадочного материала применяют методы биотехнологии, в частности, клональное микроразмножение. Однако в этой технологии существуют трудности, связанные с плохой адаптацией микроклонов к условиям ex vitro. Этот факт вносит дополнительное требование к подбору оптимальных режимов укоренения in vitro и адаптации ex vitro микроклонов.Материал и методика. Целью работы было изучение влияния условий культивирования на укоренение in vitro и адаптации ex vitro микроклонов I. batatas (L.). Объектом исследования были микрочеренки батата, размноженные in vitro. Микрочеренки I. batatas культивировали in vitro на питательной среде, содержащей минеральные соли по прописи Мурасига и Скуга, а также различные ауксины. Изучали влияние красного (R) и дальнего красного (FR) света на укоренение микропобегов in vitro и адаптацию микроклонов ex vitro.Результаты. Экспериментально установлено, что выращивание микрочеренков на питательной среде, содержащей ИМК в концентрации 0,5-1 мг/л и в условиях освещения светодиодными лампами красного и дальнего красного света в равном соотношении, приводит к получению микроклонов с хорошо развитой корневой системой и надземной биомассой. Применение аэропонной установки на последнем этапе клонального микроразмножения позволяет получать высококачественный посадочный материал, способный хорошо переносить адаптацию к условиям открытого грунта
Опыт диагностики и лечения болезни Кавасаки в клинике Санкт-Петербургского государственного педиатрического медицинского университета и Д етской городской больнице №1 Санкт-Петербурга
Kawasaki disease (KD) is acute systemic vasculitis of unknown etiology. Approximately 20–25% of untreated patients develop coronary artery changes with a range of severity from asymptomatic coronary artery dilatation to giant coronary artery aneurysms with thrombosis, myocardial infarction, and sudden death. To date there is no official data on the incidence of KD in Russia. In Russia, the disease is not enough known now to a wide circle of physicians and often masks other more common diseases. Since 2010, the detection rate of KD has dramatically increased in Saint-Petersburg.Objective: to analyze the experience in diagnosing and treating KD in two largest hospitals of Saint Petersburg.Patients and methods. The retrospective study included data on 30 children (18 boys, 12 girls) who were hospitalized with a diagnosis of KD in the Saint-Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University Clinic and Children’s Hospital One (Saint Petersburg) between January 2011 and September 2016. Data are represented by median and extreme values. The age of the children was 2.8 (0.2; 4.6) years; of them 5 (16.7%) patients were under the age of 1 year. The children were hospitalized on 5 (1; 14) days of disease onset; KD was diagnosed on 9 (3; 52) day of the disease.Results. Immediately after diagnosis, 27 (90%) children received aspirin. In early stages (before 10 days of the disease), intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy was performed in 15 (50%) children, one of them received IVIG before disease day 5 (on day 3), but without effect. On disease days 11-20 (immediately after diagnosis), 10 (33.3%) children were prescribed with IVIG; thereafter fever was abolished in all the patients. Their body temperature became normal on day 11 (6; 23). Ultrasonography revealed coronary artery lesions in 13 (43.3%) patients. Out of the 30 children followed up, one baby who fell ill at the age of 3 months and received IVIG died on day 30 of the disease.Conclusion. Currently, there continues to be a delayed diagnosis of KD. IVIG therapy was effective, especially in cases of timely diagnosis. It is necessary to increase awareness of KD among clinicians and ultrasound diagnosticians.Болезнь Кавасаки (БК) – остро протекающий системный васкулит неизвестной этиологии. Примерно у 20–25% не получивших лечения больных развиваются изменения коронарных артерий различной степени тяжести – от бессимптомной дилатации до гигантских аневризм, тромбоза, инфаркта миокарда и внезапной смерти. До настоящего времени официальных данных о заболеваемости БК в России нет. В нашей стране БК недостаточно известна широкому кругу врачей и часто проходит под маской других более распространенных заболеваний. В Санкт-Петербурге после 2010 г. резко возросла выявляемость БК.Цель исследования – проанализировать опыт диагностики и лечения БК в двух крупных стационарах Санкт-Петербурга.Пациенты и методы. В ретроспективное исследование были включены данные о 30 детях (18 мальчиков, 12 девочек), находившихся на стационарном лечении с диагнозом БК в клинике Санкт-Петербургского государственного педиатрического медицинского университета и Детской городской больнице №1 Санкт-Петербурга с января 2011 г. по сентябрь 2016 г. Данные представлены медианой и крайними значениями. Возраст детей составил 2,8 [0,2; 4,6] года, из них 5 (16,7%) пациентов были в возрасте до 1 года. Дети были госпитализированы на 5-е [1; 14] сутки болезни, диагноз БК установлен на 9-й [3; 52] день болезни.Результаты. Сразу после установления диагноза получили аспирин 27 детей (90%). В ранние сроки (до 10-го дня болезни) терапия внутривенным иммуноглобулином (ВВИГ) проводилась у 15 (50%) пациентов, из них 1 получил ВВИГ ранее 5-го дня болезни (на 3-й день), однако без эффекта. На 11–20-й день болезни (сразу после установления диагноза) ВВИГ назначен 10 (33,3%) детям, после чего лихорадка была купирована у всех пациентов. Температура тела нормализовалась на 11-й [6; 23] день. Поражение коронарных артерий при УЗИ выявлено у 13 (43,3%) пациентов. Из 30 находившихся под наблюдением детей у 1 ребенка, заболевшего в возрасте 3 мес и получившего ВВИГ на 30-й день болезни, зафиксирован летальный исход.Выводы. В настоящее время БК продолжает диагностироваться с опозданием. Терапия ВВИГ была эффективной, особенно в случаях своевременного установления диагноза. Необходимо повышение осведомленности клиницистов и врачей ультразвуковой диагностики о БК
