T5T_5 configurations and hyperbolic systems

In this paper we study the rank-one convex hull of a differential inclusion associated to entropy solutions of a hyperbolic system of conservation laws. This was introduced in Section 7 of [Kirchheim, M\"uller, \v{S}ver\'ak, 2003] and many of its properties have already been shown in [Lorent, Peng, 2019]-[Lorent, Peng, 2020]. In particular, in [Lorent, Peng 2020] it is shown that the differential inclusion does not contain any $T_4$ configurations. Here we continue that study by showing that the differential inclusion does not contain $T_5$ configurations.Comment: Author's Accepted Manuscrip

Phase equilibria of polydisperse hydrocarbons: moment free energy method analysis

We analyze the phase equilibria of systems of polydisperse hydrocarbons by means of the recently introduced moment method. Hydrocarbons are modelled with the Soave-Redlick-Kwong and Peng-Robinson equations of states. Numerical results show no particular qualitative difference between the two equations of states. Furthermore, in general the moment method proves to be an excellent method for solving phase equilibria of polydisperse systems, showing excellent agreement with previous results and allowing a great improvement in generality of the numerical scheme and speed of computation.Comment: 12 pages, 2 figure

Mudharabah, Murabahah, dan Musyarakah Pengaruhnya terhadap Laba Bersih BUS di Indonesia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhpembiayaan yang didanai oleh bank syariah terhadap laba bersih (Y),dengan mengambil 5 (Lima) sampel Bank Umum Syariah. YaituBank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank BRISyariah, Bank BNI Syariah, dan Bank Panin Syariah. Jenispembiayaan yang diukur yaitu pembiayaan Mudharabah (X1),pembiayaan Murabahah (X2) dan pembiayaan Musyarakah (X3)sebagai variabel Independen, variabel Dependen diukur dengan lababersih (Y). Dan metode yang digunakan penelitian ini menggunakananalisis kuantitatif deskriptif, data yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah data sekunder. Data sekunder diperoleh dari data laporankeuangan publikan 5 (Lima) Bank Umum Syariah periode Tahun2010-2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabelpembiayaan Mudharabah (X1) dan pembiayaan Musyarakah (X3)tidak terdapat pengaruh terhadap variabel laba bersih (Y) BankUmum Syariah, sedangkan variabel pembiayaan Murabahah (X2)terdapat pengaruh terhadap variabel laba bersih (Y). This document2 first corrects some misleading results in PENG/5 through specifying the Operating Models OMs more correctly by including process error explicitly. Results from these revised OMs provide resolution of the “self-test” concerns raised in PENG/P6. However, the negative bias in estimates of the precision of the effect of fishing parameter δ remain unless the magnitude of process error is minimal compared to observation error. Since earlier analyses have indicated that process error dominates observation error in the island closure experiment penguin response data, the possibility remains of large negative bias in the estimates of precision from Sherley et al. models of the effect of fishing parameter based on the use of individual data. Ultimately only simulation tests will reveal definitively whether or not these random effects approaches do improve estimation precision, and it is pleasing to note that the authors of PENG/P6 are now engaged in pursuing such tests
