This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of promotion costs on income at PT. Bank XYZ. The study was conducted by linear regression that was processed by means of statistical program SPSS16.00. The analysis shows the regression equation as follows: Y = -162982.754 + 247.964X. The result of research shows that there is influence between variable X that is promotion cost with variable Y that is income. However, the effectis not significant because the p-value 0.216 is greater than the 0.05 significance level. Keywords: biaya promosi, penjuala

Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional, Kecerdasan Intelektual dan Minat Belajar terhadap Tingkat Pemahaman Akuntansi

This study examined the effects of emotional intelligence, intellectual intelligence, and behavioral learning towards the level of understanding of accountancy.The sample of this studied is 25 students of Riau University, 25students of Riau Islamic University, 25 students of UIN Sultan Syarif Qasim and 25 students of Lancang Kuning University. Analytical techniques used to perform the hypothesis testing is purposive sampling with nonprobability sampling types. Data are analyzed using multiple regression analysis method using SPSS(Statistical Product and Service Solution) 17 version.The results showed that the emotional intelligence had a effect to the level of understanding of accountacy looked from thitung (2,952) >ttabel (1,984) with signification values 0,004 ( ttabel (1,984) with signification values 0,000 (ttabel (1,984) with signification values 0,000 (<0,05). Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Peta Konsep Dapat Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas IV Mi Muhammadiyah Sungai Segajah Kecamatan Kubu

Classroom action researchwas conducted because of the low sciencelearning outcomes of students with an average of 58.8 olehkurangnya causedstudent interest in learning and lack of problem solving abilities of students inlearning science. To improve the learning outcomes of the fourth grade scienceSegajah River MI Muhammadiyah Kubu district, the school year 2013/2014Concept maps applied learning models. This study was conducted from April toJune 2014 subjects were fourth graders totaling 17 people. Average studentlearning outcomes in daily test first cycle is 72.4 with a good category. While onthe second cycle of daily test students increased to 76.8 with either category. Forthe average teacher activity in the first cycle is 68.8 pertemua first with enoughcategories, at the second meeting increased to 75, while the second cycle to thefourth meeting of teachers has increased activity with both categories is 81.2, thefifth meeting of the 87, 5 with very good category. While the activities of studentsin the first cycle is 62.5 pertemua first with enough categories, at the secondmeeting increased to 68.8. While in the second cycle to the fourth meeting of thestudent activity increased to 75 with either category, the fifth meeting of the 81.2with either category. Pengaruh Pengawasan Fungsional dan Akuntabilitas Publik terhadap Kinerja Pemerintah Daerah (Studi Empiris pada SKPD Provinsi Riau)

One important element of good government is the absence of public accountability, in addition to transparency, rule of law, and regulations. Therefore, supervision is an essential element in the process of government management, has a strategic role for the realization of public accountability in the governance and development. One is the performance of the government on regional work units.This study aims to determine the effect of Functional Control and Public Accountability to the Local Government Performance In SKDP Riau Province. Respondents in this study are numbered 38 people. The type of data used is the data in the form of the data subject with the method of data collection using questionnaires. The method of data analysis used in this study is a multiple linear regression (multiple regression) with the help of Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software version 19.0.The results of this study showed both partial and simultaneous monitoring of functional variables significantly influence the performance and accountability of local government, because in the world of government, every part of government must be right people, which has competence in accordance with the predetermined qualification. While the coefficient of determination shows all variables of independently functional oversight and public accountability used in this study provide a contribution of 15.2% to the dependent variable of local government performance. While the remaining 84.8% describe other independent variables were not included in this study

The antibacterial properties of Euphorbia tirucalli stem extracts against dental caries-related bacteria

Euphorbia tirucalli dilaporkan mempunyai aktiviti antibakteria terhadap pelbagai mikroorganisma. Kajian in vitro ini bertujuan untuk menilai ciri-ciri antibakteria ekstrak (metanol, etanol dan ekstrak akueus) batang Euphorbia tirucalli terhadap bakteria yang berkaitan dengan karies gigi, iaitu Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) dan Streptococcus sobrinus (S. sobrinus). Sifat-sifat antibakteria telah ditentukan menggunakan ujian resapan agar berlubang pada kepekatan ekstrak yang berbeza (10, 20 dan 30 mg/ml). Komersial amoxicillin (10 μg) telah digunakan sebagai kawalan positif manakala pelarut yang sesuai telah digunakan sebagai kawalan negatif. Ekstrak metanol dan ethanol daripada batang Euphorbia tirucalli didapati berkesan terhadap S. mutans dan S. sobrinus. Walau bagaimanapun, ekstrak akueus batang Euphorbia tirucalli tidak menunjukkan aktiviti terhadap kedua-dua strain bakteria. Perbezaan dalam ciri-ciri antibakteria dalam perbezaan ekstrak Euphorbia tirucalli mungkin disebabkan oleh perbezaan dalam juzuk fitokimia

Contribution of Knowledge on Breastfeeding Among Mothers Who Joined Mother Support Group Program

The infant feeding decision is complex and involves the influence of psychological, social, and economic factors, and health care system. This study aimed to determine the contribution of knowledge on breastfeeding among nonworking mothers. This was a cross-sectional study conducted in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A total of 173 nonworking mothers with babies between 0-6 months who joined the mother support group (MSG) program participated in this study. The results showed that knowledge has significant influence on breastfeeding practice among the non working mothers (beta= .21, p= .01). MSG may be a suitable method to promote breastfeeding among Indonesian mothers

Pengaruh Pemakaian Mulsa Plastik Hitam Perak dan Aplikasi Dosis Zeolit pada Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Radish (Raphanus Satufus L.)

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan umbi radish sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan mikro (suhu dan kelembaban) dan ketersediaan unsur hara. Salah satu modifikasi suhu dan kelembaban lingkungan perakaran tanaman dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan mulsa. Secara fisik mulsa mampu menjaga suhu tanah lebih stabil dan mempertahankan kelembaban di sekitar perakaran tanaman. Cara untuk meningkatkan ketersedian unsur hara adalah dengan memberikan zeolit. Zeolit telah dimanfaatkan di dalam bidang pertanian sebagai menjaga pH tanah, meningkatkan aerasi tanah, dan efektif untuk pertukaran kation sehingga menjadi pengontrol dalam pembebasan ion amonium, nitrogen, dan kalium serta dapat menetralkan tanah yang bersifat asam mengurangi fiksasi P dan koloid tanah dan meningkatkan aktivitas mikroorganisme dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan mulsa plastik hitam perak berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman radish, mengetahui berapa dosis zeolit yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman radish yang terbaik, dan mengetahui apakah penggaruh penggunaan mulsa plastik hitam perak terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman radish bergantung pada dosis zeolit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboraturium Lapang Terpadu Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Lampung, Kota Bandar Lampung pada bulan Juli hingga September 2012.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mulsa memberikan respons/hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan tanpa mulsa untuk tanaman radish, pada peubah bobot kering brangkasan, dan bobot basah umbi, respons tanaman radish terhadap aplikasi dosis zeolit sampai dosis 800 g m masih liniear, dan perlakuan tanpa mulsa dan tanpa zeolit menghasilkan produksi lebih tinggi 52,61 % (1.027,42 g) daripada dengan menggunakan mulsa (486,84 g). Sedangkan pada zeolit 200 gm-2 -2 produksi umbi dengan menggunakan mulsa lebih tinggi 81,50% (1.299,94 g) daripada tanpa menggunakan mulsa (716,22 g)
