A novel method based on extended uncertain 2-tuple linguistic muirhead mean operators to MAGDM under uncertain 2-tuple linguistic environment
The present work is focused on multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problems with the uncertain 2-tuple linguistic information (ULI2–tuple) based on new aggregation operators which can capture interrelationships of attributes by a parameter vector P. To begin with, we present some new uncertain 2-tuple linguistic MM aggregation (UL2–tuple-MM) operators to handle MAGDM problems with ULI2–tuple, including the uncertain 2-tuple linguistic Muirhead mean (UL2–tuple-MM) operator, uncertain 2-tuple linguistic weighted Muirhead mean (UL2–tuple-WMM) operator. In addition, we extend UL2–tuple-WMM operator to a new aggregation operator named extended uncertain 2-tuple linguistic weighted Muirhead mean (EUL2–tuple-WMM) operators in order to handle some decision-making problems with ULI2–tuple whose attribute values are expressed in ULI2–tuple and attribute weights are also 2-tuple linguistic information. Whilst, the some properties of these new aggregation operators are obtained and some special cases are discussed. Moreover, we propose a new method to solve the MAGDM problems with ULI2–tuple. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the validity of the proposed method and the advantages of proposed method are also analysed
Global fitness profiling of fission yeast deletion strains by barcode sequencing
A genome-wide deletion library is a powerful tool for probing gene functions and one has recently become available for the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe. Here we use deep sequencing to accurately characterize the barcode sequences in the deletion library, thus enabling the quantitative measurement of the fitness of fission yeast deletion strains by barcode sequencing
Symmetry dictated universal helicity redistribution of Dirac fermions in transport
Helicity is a fundamental property of Dirac fermions. Yet, how it changes in
transport processes remains largely mysterious. We uncover, theoretically, the
rule of spinor state transformation and consequently universal helicity
redistribution in two cases of transport through potentials of electrostatic
and mass types, respectively. The former is dictated by Lorentz boost and its
complex counterpart in Klein tunneling regime. The latter is governed by an
abstract rotation group we identified, which reduces to SO(2) when acting on
the plane of effective mass and momentum. This endows an extra structure
foliating the Hilbert space of Dirac spinors, establishes miraculously a
unified yet latent connection between helicity, Klein tunneling, and Lorentz
boost. Our results thus deepen the understanding of relativistic quantum
transport, and may open a new window for exotic helicity-based physics and
applications in mesoscopic systems.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figure
Demonstration of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Steering with Enhanced Subchannel Discrimination
Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) steering describes a quantum nonlocal
phenomenon in which one party can nonlocally affect the other's state through
local measurements. It reveals an additional concept of quantum nonlocality,
which stands between quantum entanglement and Bell nonlocality. Recently, a
quantum information task named as subchannel discrimination (SD) provides a
necessary and sufficient characterization of EPR steering. The success
probability of SD using steerable states is higher than using any unsteerable
states, even when they are entangled. However, the detailed construction of
such subchannels and the experimental realization of the corresponding task are
still technologically challenging. In this work, we designed a feasible
collection of subchannels for a quantum channel and experimentally demonstrated
the corresponding SD task where the probabilities of correct discrimination are
clearly enhanced by exploiting steerable states. Our results provide a concrete
example to operationally demonstrate EPR steering and shine a new light on the
potential application of EPR steering.Comment: 16 pages, 8 figures, appendix include
