Internal Josephson-Like Tunneling in Two-Component Bose-Einstein Condensates Affected by Sign of the Atomic Interaction and External Trapping Potential

We study the Josephson-like tunneling in two-component Bose-Einstein condensates coupled with microwave field in respond to various attractive and repulsive atomic interaction under the various aspect ratio of trapping potential and the gravitational field. It is very interesting to find that the dynamic of Josephson-like tunneling can be controlled from fast damped oscillations and asymmetric occupation to nondamped oscillation and symmetric occupation.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figure

Calphad modeling and prediction of magnetic phase diagram for the Fe-Cr-Ni system

The compositional dependency of both magnetic transition temperature and magnetic moment of binary Cr-Fe, Fe-Ni, and Cr-Ni alloys, and ternary Fe-Cr-Ni alloys was investigated using magnetic modeling. Previous work on these systems were mainly based on the Inden–Hillert–Jarl magnetic model and Weiss Factor introduced by Hertzman and Sundman. In this work, a revised model proposed by Xiong was applied to study the compositional dependency of both magnetic transition temperature and magnetic moment, which reduced artificial parts of calculations. The reliability of the revised model was proved by the fact that calculated Curie temperature, Néel temperature, and magnetic moment of three binary systems all agree well with experimental data. The predicted variation trend of ternary magnetic properties was also supported by available experimental and theoretical calculation results. The low-temperature properties prediction can be benefited by the showing the improvement of description of the magnetic phase diagrams. The improved simulation of thermodynamic properties is critical to steel and superalloy development

BcBIM: A Blockchain-Based Big Data Model for BIM Modification Audit and Provenance in Mobile Cloud

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is envisioned as an indispensable opportunity in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries as a revolutionary technology and process. Smart construction relies on BIM for manipulating information flow, data flow, and management flow. Currently, BIM model has been explored mainly for information construction and utilization, but rare works pay efforts to information security, e.g., critical model audit and sensitive model exposure. Moreover, few BIM systems are proposed to chase after upcoming computing paradigms, such as mobile cloud computing, big data, blockchain, and Internet of Things. In this paper, we make the first attempt to propose a novel BIM system model called bcBIM to tackle information security in mobile cloud architectures. More specifically, bcBIM is proposed to facilitate BIM data audit for historical modifications by blockchain in mobile cloud with big data sharing. The proposed bcBIM model can guide the architecture design for further BIM information management system, especially for integrating BIM cloud as a service for further big data sharing. We propose a method of BIM data organization based on blockchains and discuss it based on private and public blockchain. It guarantees to trace, authenticate, and prevent tampering with BIM historical data. At the same time, it can generate a unified format to support future open sharing, data audit, and data provenance

AbstractFang contact model is introduced to analyze stress of the spherical fixed ring journal bearing. Developed calculation programs in the MATLAB software which are utilized to calculate the contact characteristics of roller cone drill bits spherical fixed ring journal bearing. In addition, effects of external load, radius clearance values, and material parameter on the mechanics performance were investigated. The results show that the value of external load has a direct pronounced effect on the contact characteristics of journal bearing. There is a significant positive correlation between contact pressure and external load, radius clearance value, and the Young's modulus of material. However, there is an evident negative correlation between contact radius of journal bearing and radius clearance value, and the Young's modulus of material. The smaller radius clearance value of journal bearing is, the more centralized contact region will be, so the corresponding contact pressure will be higher. From the perspective of reducing friction and wear, we need select the materials which have high strength and good toughness. Not only might this can improve the wear resistance, it also effectively decreases the contact pressure. In this case, we can prolong the service life of roller cone drill bits journal bearing
