Cocycle deformations and Galois objects of semisimple Hopf algebras of dimension 1616

In this article, we determine cocycle deformations and Galois objects of non-commutative and non-cocommutative semisimple Hopf algebras of dimension 1616. We show that these Hopf algebras are pairwise twist inequivalent mainly by calculating their higher Frobenius-Schur indicators, and that except three Hopf algebras which are cocycle deformations of dual group algebras, none of them admit non-trivial cocycle deformations.Comment: 22 page

Jiang Guangci as a Translator of Russian Literature into Chinese

    Get PDF
The translation activity of the founder of revolutionary Chinese literature, Jiang Guangci, is considered. The novelty of the study is due to the fact that the translations of Russian and Soviet literature by Jiang Guangci are almost not studied in scientific circles. The relevance of the study is due to the importance of building and strengthening Chinese-Russian cultural ties, including in the field of translation of fiction, in which Jiang Guangci was successful in the 20s of the XX century. It has been established that Jiang Guangci’s translations corresponded to his revolutionary ideals, which he embodied in his original works. It is noted that Jiang Guangci's worldview determined his choice of Russian and Soviet works embodying revolutionary ideals for translation. It is shown that his translations received wide support from young people due not only to the content, but also to the simple, understandable language of presentation. The participation of Jiang Guangci in the literary discussion about the translation strategy is presented. Due to his good knowledge of the Russian, he made translations from the original, and not from Japanese translations of Russian works. The authors come to the conclusion that the translation activity of Jiang Guangci has not been sufficiently studied and has prospects for study

Clinical Observation of Erlotinib in the Treatment of Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer: A Report of 92 Eases

Background and objective Erlotinib, a selective inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase, has been approved effective in local advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of erlotinib for the treatment of advanced NSCLC. Methods Ninety-two patients with advanced NSCLC who had failed or not tolerated or refused chemotherapy received 150 mg oral doses of erlotinib once daily until the disease progression or intolerable toxicity. Results Among the 92 NSCLC patients, 2 patient got complete response (2.2%), 22 partial response (23.9%), 48 stable disease (52.2%) and 20 progressive disease (21.7%). The overall response rate and the disease controlled rate of erlotinib was 26.1% (24/92) and 78.3% (72/92), respectively. The response rate of erlotinib were significantly higher in rash and ECOG 0-1 than no rash and ECOG ≥ 2. The disease controlled rate of erlotinib was significantly higher in female and non-smokers than male and smokers (P < 0.05). The response rate of erlotinib did not show significant differences within pathological type or previous treatment. The most common side effects were rash and diarrhea with 84.8% and 31.5%, respectively, but usually were mild. Conclusion Erlotinib is effective and safe in the treatment of advanced NSCLC patients

Potential Application of Copper Aspirinate in Preventing and Treating Thromboembolic Diseases

    Get PDF
The efficacy of copper aspirinate against thrombotic diseases has been tested in animal models. The results show that copper aspirinate, following ig pretreatment for 7 days at 0.012mmol/kg markedly prolonged the bleeding time and inhibited the mortality induced by arachidonic acid (AA) in mice. On cereral ischemia model pretreatment with 0.018mmol/kg copper aspirinate ig significantly increased survival of animals and the density of intact hippocampal CA1 cells and decreased brain calcium concentration. Its anticerebral ischemia activity was superior to or equal to nimodipine. It is, therefore, suggested that copper aspirinate is very promising in becoming an antithrombotic drug in preventing and treating thrombotic diseases

Learning Disentangled Semantic Representations for Zero-Shot Cross-Lingual Transfer in Multilingual Machine Reading Comprehension

Multilingual pre-trained models are able to zero-shot transfer knowledge from rich-resource to low-resource languages in machine reading comprehension (MRC). However, inherent linguistic discrepancies in different languages could make answer spans predicted by zero-shot transfer violate syntactic constraints of the target language. In this paper, we propose a novel multilingual MRC framework equipped with a Siamese Semantic Disentanglement Model (SSDM) to disassociate semantics from syntax in representations learned by multilingual pre-trained models. To explicitly transfer only semantic knowledge to the target language, we propose two groups of losses tailored for semantic and syntactic encoding and disentanglement. Experimental results on three multilingual MRC datasets (i.e., XQuAD, MLQA, and TyDi QA) demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed approach over models based on mBERT and XLM-100. Antrodia camphorata is a unique mushroom of Taiwan, which has been used as a natural therapeutic ingredient in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for protection of diverse health related conditions. Polysaccharides produced from A. camphorata have attracted much attention of research due to cytotoxic activity and miscellaneous activities. In this paper, we report on the fermentation conditions species-specific exopolysaccharides (EPS) from A. camphorata in submerged culture. A favorable medium for EPS production was obtained only by single-factor experiment, where Glucose and Yeast-Extracts were identified to be the most suitable carbon and nitrogen sources, with the concentration of 40 g/L and 5.0 g/L respectively. Zinc sulphate was identified to be the best salt source with the concentration of 0.4g/l. Initial pH and inoculum size for mycelial growth and EPS yield were 6.0 and 15% respectively. The maximum EPS production was 0.474 g/L in shake-flask culture, which is higher than the baseline media that was 0.351 g/L. This study provides the baseline information about production conditions for this specific specie which is crucial data to know before any further studies as it determines the properties and quantity of the desired produced specie.
