    A Trust Model Based on Service Classification in Mobile Services

    Internet of Things (IoT) and B3G/4G communication are promoting the pervasive mobile services with its advanced features. However, security problems are also baffled the development. This paper proposes a trust model to protect the user's security. The billing or trust operator works as an agent to provide a trust authentication for all the service providers. The services are classified by sensitive value calculation. With the value, the user's trustiness for corresponding service can be obtained. For decision, three trust regions are divided, which is referred to three ranks: high, medium and low. The trust region tells the customer, with his calculated trust value, which rank he has got and which authentication methods should be used for access.     Rotating Black Holes and Coriolis Effect

    In this work, we consider the fluid/gravity correspondence for general rotating black holes. By using the Petrov-like boundary condition in near horizon limit, we study the correspondence between gravitational perturbation and fluid equation. We find that the dual fluid equation for rotating black holes contains a Coriolis force term, which is closely related to the angular velocity of the black hole horizon. This can be seen as a dual effect for the frame-dragging effect of rotating black hole under the holographic picture.Comment: 5 page

    Tripartite evolutionary game analysis of power battery carbon footprint disclosure under the EU battery regulation

    The EU's battery regulation aims to promote low-carbon and sustainable batteries and achieve carbon neutrality goals. However, in the actual implementation, limited government supervision, asymmetric information, and economic interests may induce battery manufacturers and third-party verification agencies to manipulate carbon footprint data. To prevent the occurrence of the above phenomena, this study constructs a tripartite evolutionary game model involving battery manufacturers, third-party verification agencies, and national market authorities. The model examines the strategic decision-making process, influential factors, and evolutionary stability of the three players, followed by simulation analysis. The results showed that the evolutionary system may exhibit two stable states: (0,0,1) and (1,1,0), corresponding to two strategy combinations {disclose false carbon footprints, intend rent-seeking, supervise} and {disclose true carbon footprint, reject rent-seeking, not supervise}, respectively. However, if the benefits of third-party agencies objectively assessing carbon footprints are not substantial enough, there will be only one stable state (0,0,1) in the system. To guide the evolutionary system towards the desired stable state (1,1,0), supportive policies should be implemented along with the EU battery regulation. Therefore, this study puts forward some policy recommendations in terms of institutional improvement, database construction, and the application of emerging technologies

    Gene Transfer of Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide Inhibits Macrophages and Inflammatory Mediators in Vein Graft Disease

    Vein graft disease is a chronic inflammatory disease and limits the late results of coronary revascularization. Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) inhibits macrophages infiltrated and inflammatory mediators, we hypothesized that transfected CGRP gene inhibits macrophages infiltrated and inflammatory mediators in vein graft disease. Autologous rabbit jugular vein grafts were incubated ex vivo in a solution of mosaic adeno-associated virus vectors containing CGRP gene (AAV2/1.CGRP) 、escherichia coli lac Z gene (AAV2/1.LacZ) or saline and then interposed in the carotid artery. Intima/media ratio were evaluated at postoperative 4 weeks, Macrophages were marked with CD68 antibody by immunocytochemistry. Inflammatory mediators were mensurated with real-time PCR. Neointimal thickening was significantly suppressed in AAV2/1.CGRP group. Macrophages infiltrated and inflammatory mediators monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1)、tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α)、inducible nitricoxide synthase (iNOS)、matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) was significantly suppressed in AAV2/1.CGRP group.Gene transfected AAV2/1.CGRP suppressed neointimal hyperplasia in vein graft disease by suppressed macrophages infiltrated and inflammatory mediators

    Short-term application of diquafosol ophthalmic solution benefits children with dry eye wearing orthokeratology lens

    PurposeThis aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of 3% Diquafosol Ophthalmic Solution (DQS) on children with dry eye from wearing overnight orthokeratology (OrthoK) lenses.MethodsMyopic children aged 8–18 years with dry eye syndrome were enrolled in this prospective observational study, and they were grouped according to their OrthoK treatment history for at least 1 year. All participants received DQS 4 times per day for 1 month. The following indicators were measured at baseline 1 month after treatment: the Dry Eye Questionnaire-5 (DEQ-5), non-invasive tear meniscus height (TMH), non-invasive tear film break-up time (first and average, NIBUT-F and NIBUT-A), meibomian gland score (MG score), conjunctival hyperemia redness score (R-scan), and blink pattern analysis.ResultsA total of 104 participants (189 eyes) including 40 OrthoK wearers (72 eyes) and 64 Orthok candidates (117 eyes) completed the study. Of all, after DQS treatment for 1 month, DEQ-5 scores reduced from 5.54 ± 3.25 to 3.85 ± 2.98 (t = −3.36, p = 0.00). TMH increased from 0.20 ± 0.05 mm to 0.21 ± 0.05 mm (t = 2.59, p = 0.01), NIBUT-F and NIBUT-A were prolonged from 6.67 ± 4.71 s to 10.32 ± 6.19 s and from 8.86 ± 5.25 s to 13.30 ± 6.03 s (all p = 0.00), respectively. R-scan decreased from 0.69 ± 0.28 to 0.50 ± 0.25 (t = −9.01, p = 0.00). Upper MG scores decreased from 1.04 ± 0.32 to 0.97 ± 0.36 (t = −2.14, p = 0.03). Lower MG scores, partial blink rate, partial blinks, and total blinks did not change significantly. Both break-up time (BUT) and R-scan improved significantly after DQS treatment for 1 month (all p = 0.00) in OrthoK candidates and OrthoK wearers. Among the OrthoK wearers, TMH and dry eye symptoms increased significantly (all p = 0.00) but did not increase in OrthoK candidates (p > 0.05). There were no adverse events related to DQS.ConclusionDiquafosol Ophthalmic Solution was effective for children wearing overnight orthokeratology in relieving dry eye symptoms and improving ocular surface parameters, which may help improve children's OrthoK wearing tolerance and compliance
