    The conformal properties of metrics are meaningful in Riemannian and Finsler geometry, and cubic metrics are useful in physics and biology. In this paper, we study the conformally flat cubic metrics with weakly isotropic scalar curvature. We also prove that such metrics must be Minkowski metrics

    The AαA_{\alpha}-spectra of graph operations based on generalized (edge) corona

    Let G,HiG, H_{i} be simple graphs with n=V(G)n=|V(G)|, m=E(G)m=|E(G)| and i=1,2,,n(m)i=1, 2, \ldots, n(m). The generalized corona, denoted Go~i=1nHiG\tilde{o}\wedge^{n}_{i=1} H_{i}, is the graph obtained by taking one copy of graphs G,H1,,HnG, H_{1},\ldots, H_{n} and joining the iith vertex of GG to every vertex of HiH_{i} for 1in1 \leq i \leq n. The generalized edge corona, denoted by G[Hi]1mG[H_i]_1^m, is the graph obtained by taking one copy of graphs G,H1,,HmG, H_{1},\ldots, H_{m} and then joining two end-vertices of the iith edge of GG to every vertex of HiH_{i} for 1im1 \leq i \leq m. For any real α[0,1]\alpha\in[0,1], the matrix Aα(G)=αD(G)+(1α)A(G)A_{\alpha}(G)=\alpha D(G)+(1-\alpha)A(G), where A(G)A(G) and D(G)D(G) are the adjacency matrix and the degree matrix of a graph GG, respectively. In this paper, we obtain the AαA_{\alpha}-characteristic polynomial of Go~i=1nHiG\tilde{o}\wedge^{n}_{i=1} H_{i}, which extends some known results. Meanwhile, we determine the AαA_{\alpha}-characteristic polynomial of G[Hi]1mG[H_i]_1^m and get the AαA_{\alpha}-spectrum of G[Hi]1mG[H_i]_1^m when GG and HiH_i are regular graphs for 1im1\le i\le m. As an application of the above conclusions, we construct infinitely many pairs of non-regular AαA_{\alpha}-cospectral graphs

    Splashing, Recoiling and Deposition: Simulating Droplet Impact Dynamics in Ultracold Bose Gases

    Droplet impact on a surface is closely tied to a diverse field of nature and practical applications, while a complete control of its outcomes remains challenging due to various unmanageable factors related to droplet, surface and surrounding environment. In this work, we propose the quantum simulation of droplet impact dynamics in the platform of ultracold atoms. Specifically, we study the quantum-fluctuation-driven dynamics(QFDD) of two-dimensional Bose-Bose mixtures from an initial Townes soliton towards the formation of quantum droplet. By tuning the fluctuation energy of initial Townes state through its size and number, the subsequent QFDD can exhibit distinct outcomes including splashing, recoiling and deposition, thereby well simulating the droplet impact dynamics. We have utilized the Weber number to identify the thresholds of splashing and recoiling, and further established a universal scaling law between the maximum spreading factor and the Weber number in recoiling regime. In addition, we show the residual QFDD in deposition regime can be used to probe the collective breathing modes of quantum droplet. Our results, which can be directly tested in cold atoms experiments, pave the way for exploring the intriguing droplet dynamics in a clean and fully controlled quantum setting.Comment: 8+2 pages, 5 figure

    Ca2+ channel subunit a 1D inhibits endometriosis cell apoptosis and mediated by prostaglandin E2

    Objectives: Endometriosis is considered as a chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and prostaglandin E2(PGE2) (a kind of the inflammatory cytokines) was increased in the endometriosis patient’s peritoneal fluid . Ca2+ signal and Ca2+ channels play an important role in cell apoptosis. This study was to explore the L-type calcium channel (Cav1.3) expression and its biological function in endometriosis. Furthermore the molecular mechanism between Cav1.3 and PGE2 was also clarified. Material and methods: The real-time PCR and immunohistochemical were used to detect the expression of Cav1.3. Apoptosis was detected by Flow cytometry assay and Western blot assay. Results: Cav1.3 was high expression in endometriosis tissue and primary endometrial stromal cells (hEM15A). Treatment with PGE2 rapidly inhibited apoptosis and increased Cav1.3 expression in hEM15A . The silencing of Cav1.3 promoted apoptosis, which was unchanged after PGE2 treatment. Moreover, the inhibition of Cav1.3 by shRNA transfection activated cleaved PARP and cleaved caspase-3. Conclusions: These available evidences suggest that Cav1.3 is required for PGE2 induction apoptosis and relates to the pathophysiology of endometriosis. Interference with Cav1.3 may offer a neo-therapeutic window in endometriosis treatment

    Flow Injection Chemiluminescent Immunoassay for Carcinoembryonic Antigen Using Boronic Immunoaffinity Column

    A flow injection chemiluminescence immunoassay for rapid and sensitive detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) by using a phenylboronic acid-based immunoaffinity column as a glycoprotein collector was proposed in this paper. The column was prepared by coupling of 3-aminophenylboronic acid on the glass beads through a γ-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPMS) linkage. Based on an indirect competitive immunoreaction, the mixture of CEA sample and enzyme conjugated CEA antibody (HRP-anti-CEA) was incubated in advance, followed by direct injection to the column to capture free HRP-labeled CEA antibody in the column. The trapped HRP-labeled antibody was detected by flow inject chemiluminescence in the presence of luminol and hydrogen peroxide. The decreased chemiluminescent signal was proportional to the concentration of CEA in the range of 3.0–30.0 ng/mL with a correlation coefficient of 0.998. The column showed an acceptable reproducibility and stability and is potentially used for practical clinical detection of the serum CEA level

    Translational Bioinformatics for Human Reproductive Biology Research: Examples, Opportunities and Challenges for a Future Reproductive Medicine

    Since 1978, with the first IVF (in vitro fertilization) baby birth in Manchester (England), more than eight million IVF babies have been born throughout the world, and many new techniques and discoveries have emerged in reproductive medicine. To summarize the modern technology and progress in reproductive medicine, all scientific papers related to reproductive medicine, especially papers related to reproductive translational medicine, were fully searched, manually curated and reviewed. Results indicated whether male reproductive medicine or female reproductive medicine all have made significant progress, and their markers have experienced the progress from karyotype analysis to single-cell omics.     Case Report: Metagenomic Next-Generation Sequencing in Diagnosis of Legionella pneumophila Pneumonia in a Patient After Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cell Transplantation

    We report a case of hospital-acquired Legionella pneumonia that was detected by metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) of blood from a 7-year-old girl after umbilical cord blood stem cell transplantation (UCBT) with myelodysplastic syndrome. UCBT is traditionally associated with an increased risk of infection, particularly during the first 3 months after transplantation. Controlling interstitial pneumonia and severe infection is the key to reducing patient mortality from infection. Legionella pneumophila can cause a mild cough to rapidly fatal pneumonia. After mNGS confirmed that the pathogen was L. pneumophila, azithromycin, cefoperazone sulbactam, and posaconazole were used for treatment, and the patient's temperature decreased and remained normal. The details of this case highlight the benefits of the timely use of metagenomic NGS to identify pathogens for the survival of immunocompromised patients
