Tutte polynomial of a small-world farey graph

In this paper, we find recursive formulas for the Tutte polynomial of a family of small-world networks: Farey graphs, which are modular and have an exponential degree hierarchy. Then, making use of these formulas, we determine the number of spanning trees, as well as the number of connected spanning subgraphs. Furthermore, we also derive exact expressions for the chromatic polynomial and the reliability polynomial of these graphs.Comment: 6 page

Short video is born with the development and operation of the Internet environment and has become one of the most popular entertainment consumer products. However, while the short video industry is booming, it also faces the problem of copyright infringement. The reason is that the creation, secondary creation and dissemination of short videos are simple and the cost of infringement is low, so the frequent infringement cases hinder the development of short video market which discourage the enthusiasm of video creators. Alleviating copyright infringement will help copyright protection agencies and relevant laws and regulations improve. Therefore, this paper studies the current short video industry, the current typical infringement phenomenon was described. To be specific, it describes in detail the problems existing in the current governance of copyright in the field of short video. The definition and ownership of short video copyright is not clear, the short video content supervision system is not perfect, and the responsibilities of short video platforms are still to be solved. In view of the outstanding problems, the paper proposed the countermeasures to complete the definition and attribution of short video, establish a sound supervision system, and improve the responsibility of short video platform

Film and television works refer to audio files with or without words and video files that can be recorded, which also enjoy copyright. In this era of short video fast food, movies and TV series have become the benchmark in the cultural field with their mature scripts, careful shooting and large investment of funds and personnel. The copyright protection of movies and TV series is the foundation for the long-term development of China’s film and television industry, and has a great impact on the development of China’s cultural industry. With film and television dramas becoming increasingly popular subjects for short-form video creation on the Internet, short-form video users and film and television drama creators have formed a fierce collision of rights. However, in practice, the copyright protection of film and television series is faced with such problems as high creation costs and low transport costs, high difficulty and high cost for platforms to identify infringing videos, and no clear standards for judicial identification of infringement issues. Therefore, based on the concept of the haven principle and the principle of proportion, this paper uses the method of empirical research to analyze the current situation of film and television play copyright protection in our country by combining the Copyright Law and the short video infringement case of the popular the film “Nagatsuko”. Specifically, this includes legislation to clarify the limits and scope of judicial determination, refine the legal responsibilities of the three main parties, establish a legal risk prevention and control mechanism, and establish a benefit sharing mechanism between creators and short video users, thus promoting coordinated coexistence and win-win cooperation between users of short online videos and creators of TV dramas

Novel sulfamoylamino-containing cephalosporin derivatives, and their in vitro antibacterial properties

Purpose: To prepare and develop new antibacterial agents with novel molecular structures. Method: A series of novel sulfamoylamino-containing cephalosporin derivatives were synthesized. The in vitro antibacterial effects of the derivatives against Gram-positive bacteria (S. aureus, S. pneumonia and S. epidermidis), and Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and K. pneumonia) were investigated. Results: Compounds 13a and 13b exhibited excellent antibacterial effects against all the Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria tested, when compared with other cephalosporin derivatives. Conclusion: Of these new cephalosporin derivatives, compounds 13a and 13b show the most potent antibacterial activity and would need to be further investigated

Fucoxanthin attenuates LPS-induced acute lung injury via inhibition of the TLR4/MYD88 signaling axis

Acute lung injury (ALI) is a critical clinical condition with a high mortality rate. It is believed that the inflammatory storm is a critical contributor to the occurrence of ALI. Fucoxanthin is a natural extract from marine seaweed with remarkable biological properties, including antioxidant, anti-tumor, and anti-obesity. However, the anti-inflammatory activity of Fucoxanthin has not been extensively studied. The current study aimed to elucidate the effects and the molecular mechanism of Fucoxanthin on lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury. In this study, Fucoxanthin efficiently reduced the mRNA expression of pro-inflammatory factors, including IL-10, IL-6, iNOS, and Cox-2, and down-regulated the NF-kappaB signaling pathway in Raw264.7 macrophages. Furthermore, based on the network pharmacological analysis, our results showed that anti-inflammation signaling pathways were screened as fundamental action mechanisms of Fucoxanthin on ALI. Fucoxanthin also significantly ameliorated the inflammatory responses in LPS-induced ALI mice. Interestingly, our results revealed that Fucoxanthin prevented the expression of TLR4/MyD88 in Raw264.7 macrophages. We further validated Fucoxanthin binds to the TLR4 pocket using molecular docking simulations. Altogether, these results suggest that Fucoxanthin suppresses the TLR4/MyD88 signaling axis by targeting TLR4, which inhibits LPS-induced ALI, and fucoxanthin inhibition may provide a novel strategy for controlling the initiation and progression of ALI

Expression of androgen and estrogen receptors in the testicular tissue of chickens, quails and chicken-quail hybrids

36 New Roman cocks, 30 Korean male quails and 30 chicken-quail hybrids of different day-age were selected and their body weight and testes weights were measured and as well, their testes were collected. Real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was performed to evaluate the messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) expression patterns of androgen receptors (AR) and estrogen receptors (ER) genes in testicular tissue of chickens, quails and chicken-quail hybrids at different growth stages. The results show that the testes of chickens and quails grew and developed normally with body weight gain, but the testes of chicken-quail hybrids had a slower growth rate and stunted growth. Real-time PCR showed AR and ER mRNA expression patterns in testes of chickens and quails at different growth stages were similar. AR mRNA expression in chickens and quails reached a significant peak at 80 and 30 days of age, respectively and their ER gene expression showed fluctuation slightly. The AR and ER expression of chicken-quail hybrids were different from the above expression patterns; the hybrids AR gene expression showed a gradual decline and ER gene expression gradually increased. The chickenquail hybrids AR and ER gene expression was abnormal and we speculate this is an important molecular factor for the testicular dysplasia of chicken-quail hybrids. Our results show that AR gene expression was upregulated by ER gene and we suggest that the synergetic effect of AR and ER gene regulated the normal testis growth and development of chicken and quail. Keywords: Chicken, quail, chicken-quail hybrid, testis, androgen receptors (AR), estrogen receptors (ER) expressionAfrican Journal of Biotechnology Vol. 11(29), pp. 7344-7353, 10 April, 201

“Cultural and Creative IP” Empowerment Model for Red Culture under the New Media Environment

Boasting exemplary national qualities and high educational value, Red Culture is a unique spiritual wealth that make the Chinese nation stand out from the rest nations. Under the new media environment, however, the collision between the disparate characteristics of Red Culture and new media has given rise to the predicament plaguing the communication of Red Culture. With the advent of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, both tangible and intangible cultural heritage and resources are being valued, tapped and cultivated across the country. With the cultural and creative industry in the ascendant, the concept of intellectual property (“IP”) has seeped into all aspects of our everyday lives. Against that backdrop, this study attempts to explore novel ways to link up the Red Culture resources scattered across China, to combine education with cultural tourism through the “4+5+2” cultural and creative IP empowerment model, and to pass on and spread Red Culture and add new value to the industry on the strength of influential IPs
