Purpose: To study the effectiveness of exogenous erythropoietin (EPO) against chronic heart failure (CHF) with anemia, and its effect on serum hypersensitive C reaction protein (hs-CRP), homocysteic acid (Hcy ) and B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP).Methods: A total of 136 patients suffering from CHF with anemia from June 2015 to June 2017 were randomly divided into observation group (n = 68) and control group (n = 68). On the basis of conventional anti-heart failure therapy, the control group received oral ferrous sulfate tablets, while the observation group received oral ferrous sulfate tablets combined with EPO subcutaneous injection. Blood indices, cardiac function and serology were determined and tested in all patients before treatment, and at 4 months after treatment. Results: After treatment, hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (HCT), red blood cell (RBC), blood platelet count (PLT) and serum iron were significantly higher than those before treatment in the two groups; the levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in control group (p <0.05). Following treatment, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), and 6-minute walking distance in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, while end-diastolic dimension (LVEDD), end-systolic dimension (LVESD) and cardiac functional grading in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (p < 0.05). After treatment, hs-CRP, Hcy and BNP were significantly lower than pre-treatment values in the two groups, while the values for the observation group were significantly lower than those of control group (p <0.05). Correlation analysis showed that LVEF and Hb were negatively correlated with hs-CRP, Hcy and BNP (p <0.05).Conclusion: Serum hs-CRP, Hcy and BNP are involved in the occurrence and progression of CHF with anemia. Exogenous EPO can effectively improve anemia and cardiac function in these patients. Keywords: Erythropoietin, Chronic heart failure, Anemia, C-reaction protein, B-type natriuretic peptid

The weak decays of Ξc(β€²)β†’Ξž\Xi^{(')}_{c}\to\Xi in the light-front quark model

Without contamination from the final state interactions, the calculation of the branching ratios of semileptonic decays Ξc(β€²)β†’Ξž+e+Ξ½e\Xi^{(')}_{c}\to\Xi+e^+\nu_e may provide us more information about the inner structure of charmed baryons. Moreover, by studying those processes, one can better determine the form factors of Ξcβ†’Ξž\Xi_c\to\Xi which can be further applied to relevant estimates. In this work, we use the light-front quark model to carry out the computations where the three-body vertex functions for Ξc\Xi_c and Ξ\Xi are employed. To fit the new data of the Belle II, we re-adjust the model parameters and obtain Ξ²s[sq]=1.07\beta_{s[sq]}=1.07 GeV which is 2.9 times larger than Ξ²ssΛ‰=0.366\beta_{s\bar s}=0.366 GeV. This value may imply that the ssss pair in Ξ\Xi constitutes a more compact subsystem. Furthermore, we also investigate the non-leptonic decays of Ξc(β€²)β†’Ξž\Xi^{(')}_c\to \Xi which will be experimentally measured soon, so our model would be tested by consistency with the new data.Comment: 10 pages, 3 figures and 6 tables. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1912.0143

Complementary relations of entanglement, coherence, steering and Bell nonlocality inequality violation in three-qubit states

We put forward complementary relations of entanglement, coherence, steering inequality violation, and Bell nonlocality for arbitrary three-qubit states. We show that two families of genuinely entangled three-qubit pure states with single parameter exist, and they exhibit maximum coherence and steering inequality violation for a fixed amount of negativity, respectively. It is found that the negativity is exactly equal to the geometric mean of bipartite concurrences for the three-qubit pure states, although the negativity is always less than or equal to the latter for three-qubit mixed states. Moreover, the complementary relation between negativity and first-order coherence for tripartite entanglement states are established. Furthermore, we investigate the close relation between the negativity and the maximum steering inequality violation. In addition, the complementary relation between negativity and the maximum Bell-inequality violation for arbitrary three-qubit states is obtained. The results provide reliable evidence of fundamental connections among entanglement, coherence, steering inequality violation, and Bell nonlocality.Comment: 11 pages, 5 figure
