Inspired by the recent findings of the two states in the
mass spectrum at LHCb, we investigate the elastic and inelastic cross sections
of the , , and channels within the
constraints from heavy quark spin and flavour symmetry. The () bound states predicted in earlier
works should be accessible in elastic and/or inelastic processes of the and/or ( and/or ) interactions.Comment: Minor correction
COOPERATIVE ADVERTISING RENT DISSIPATION
Generic advertising is used by fish producers to accelerate demand growth to alleviate temporary surpluses. Whether this cooperative promotional venture is profitable depends on a number of factors including industry supply response. A rent-dissipation model applied to the U.S. catfish industry suggests the quasi-rents generated by increased advertising are more than sufficient to cover incremental costs over any reasonable time horizon.Marketing,
K+ -> pi+ nu nu(bar) and FCNC from non-universal Z' bosons
Motivated by the E787 and E949 result for K+ -> pi+ nu nu(bar) we examine the
effects of a new non-universal right-handed Z' boson on flavor changing
processes. We place bounds on the tree-level FCNC from K-K(bar) and B-B(bar)
mixing as well as from the observed CP violation in kaon decay. We discuss the
implications for K -> pi nu nu(bar), B -> X nu nu(bar) and B -> tau+ tau-. We
find that existing bounds allow substantial enhancements in the K+ -> pi+ nu
nu(bar) rate, particularly through a new one-loop Z' penguin operator.Comment: Typos corrected, references added, version to appear in PR
Factorization and Unitarity in Superstring Theory
The overall coefficient of the two-loop 4-particle amplitude in superstring
theory is determined by making use of the factorization and unitarity. To
accomplish this we computed in detail all the relevant tree and one-loop
amplitudes involved and determined their overall coefficients in a consistent

Sputtered Gold as an Effective Schottky Gate for Strained Si/SiGe Nanostructures
Metallization of Schottky surface gates by sputtering Au on strained Si/SiGe
heterojunctions enables the depletion of the two dimensional electron gas
(2DEG) at a relatively small voltage while maintaining an extremely low level
of leakage current. A fabrication process has been developed to enable the
formation of sub-micron Au electrodes sputtered onto Si/SiGe without the need

Multidimensional optical fractionation with holographic verification
The trajectories of colloidal particles driven through a periodic potential
energy landscape can become kinetically locked in to directions dictated by the
landscape's symmetries. When the landscape is realized with forces exerted by a
structured light field, the path a given particle follows has been predicted to
depend exquisitely sensitively on such properties as the particle's size and
refractive index These predictions, however, have not been tested
experimentally. Here, we describe measurements of colloidal silica spheres'
transport through arrays of holographic optical traps that use holographic
video microscopy to track individual spheres' motions in three dimensions and
simultaneously to measure each sphere's radius and refractive index with
part-per-thousand resolution. These measurements confirm previously untested
predictions for the threshold of kinetically locked-in transport, and
demonstrate the ability of optical fractionation to sort colloidal spheres with
part-per-thousand resolution on multiple characteristics simultaneously.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures. Accepted for publication in Physical Review

Thermalization of quark-gluon matter by 2-to-2 and 3-to-3 elastic scatterings
Thermalization of quark-gluon matter is studied with a transport equation
that includes contributions of 2-to-2 and 3-to-3 elastic scatterings.
Thermalization time is related to the squared amplitudes for the elastic

How to determine linear complexity and -error linear complexity in some classes of linear recurring sequences
Several fast algorithms for the determination of the linear complexity of -periodic sequences over a finite
field \F_q, i.e. sequences with characteristic polynomial , have been proposed in the literature.
In this contribution fast algorithms for determining the linear complexity of binary sequences with characteristic
polynomial for an arbitrary positive integer , and are presented.
The result is then utilized to establish a fast algorithm for determining the -error linear complexity of
binary sequences with characteristic polynomial
