Molecular cloning, expression profiling, and yeast complementation of 19 β-tubulin cDNAs from developing cotton ovules
Microtubules are a major structural component of the cytoskeleton and participate in cell division, intracellular transport, and cell morphogenesis. In the present study, 795 cotton tubulin expressed sequence tags were analysed and 19 β-tubulin genes (TUB) cloned from a cotton cDNA library. Among the group, 12 cotton TUBs (GhTUBs) are reported for the first time here. Transcription profiling revealed that nine GhTUBs were highly expressed in elongating fibre cells as compared with fuzzless-lintless mutant ovules. Treating cultured wild-type cotton ovules with exogenous phytohormones showed that individual genes can be induced by different agents. Gibberellin induced expression of GhTUB1 and GhTUB3, ethylene induced expression of GhTUB5, GhTUB9, and GhTUB12, brassinosteroids induced expression of GhTUB1, GhTUB3, GhTUB9, and GhTUB12, and lignoceric acid induced expression of GhTUB1, GhTUB3, and GhTUB12. When GhTUBs were transformed into the Saccharomyces cerevisiae inviable mutant, tub2, which is deficient in β-tubulin, one ovule-specific and eight of nine fibre-preferential GhTUBs rescued this lethality. 血浆同型半胱胺酸和D-二聚体水平与急性期脑梗死各亚型的关系
Purpose-To study plasma homocysteine(Hcy)/D-dimer levels in patients with differernt subtype of acute cerebral infarction for early etiology diagnosis. Methods: The subjects were 246 acute cerebral infarction patients in the first 24 hours of stroke onset at our hospital. We divided them into large –artery atherosclerosis(LAA) group(n=66), small artery occlusion(SAO) group(n=76), cardio embolism(CE) group(n=40),stroke of other demonstrated etiology(SOE) group (n=11)and stroke of other undemonstrated etiology(SUE) group(n=51) according to the TOAST classification. Plasma homocysteine and D-diamer were determined within the first 24 hours of admission, the differences in subgroups and control group(n=121) were analyzed. Results:Plasma homocysteine levels in LAA group were signficantly higher than other groups(P<0.05), no differences in non-LAA groups(P>0.05);Plasma D-diamer levels in CE group were significant higher than other groups(P<0.05), no differences in non-CE groups(P>0.05). Conclusions: Plasma homocysteine and D-diamer level are associated with subtypes of acute cerebral infarction, and it contributed to early classification diagnosis and individual treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction.目的:探讨血浆同型半胱胺酸和D-二聚体在急性期各亚型脑梗死之间的差异,为临床脑梗死亚型的病因学诊断提供理论依据。方法:收集我院246例24 h内发病的脑梗死患者,根据TOAST分型方法进行病因学分型:大动脉粥样硬化性脑卒中(1arge—artery atherosclerosis,LAA;n=66)、小动脉闭塞性脑卒中(small-artery occlusion ,SAO;n=76)、心源性脑栓塞(cardio embolism,CE;n=40)、其他确定原因引发的缺血性脑卒中(stroke of other demonstrated etiology,SOE;n=11)和不明原因的缺血性脑卒中(stroke of other undemonstrated etiology,SUE;n=51)。在入院24小时内测定血浆同型半胱胺酸(Hcy)和D-二聚体(DD)的含量,并与121例对照组进行比较,分析二者在不同亚型脑梗死及对照组之间的差异。结果:LAA组同型半胱氨酸水平明显高于其它4组及对照组(P<0.05) ,其他 4个亚型(SAA、CA、SOE、SUE)及对照组组间比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。CE组血浆D-二聚体含量最高,显著高于其他各亚型组及对照组(P<0.05); 其他 4个亚型(SAA、CA、SOE、SUE)及对照组组间比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:急性期各亚型脑梗死之间血浆同型半胱胺酸和D-二聚体升高程度不同,这对于临床早期分型诊断及个体化治疗有着重要指导意义
Prélèvement à la source de l’impôt sur le revenu : comment faire ?
Le gouvernement a décidé de reporter le prélèvement à la source de l’impôt sur le revenu (IR) à janvier 2019. A partir de cette date, les employeurs prélèveront directement l’impôt sur la fiche de paie à un taux transmis par l’administration fiscale. Ce taux sera calculé sur la base de la déclaration fiscale effectuée au printemps 2018 (sur les revenus 2017). En 2019, l’impôt sera ainsi payé sur les revenus 2019. L’avantage principal de la réforme réside dans cette contemporanéité : si les revenus d’un ménage baissent (chômage, départ à la retraite, …), l’impôt baissera proportionnellement[1]. En cas de changement de situation conduisant à une baisse prévisible significative de l’impôt dû, les ménages pourront demander en cours d’année sur le site impots.gouv.fr une mise à jour de leur taux de prélèvement à la source, de sorte que la baisse de l’impôt payé sera plus que proportionnelle. Le prélèvement à la source évite ainsi les difficultés de trésorerie pour les personnes dont la situation change en cours d’année. Du point de vue de l’Etat, le prélèvement à la source permettrait également une plus grande efficacité des stabilisateurs automatiques (l’IR variera en temps réel avec les revenus). In the title compound, C10H12N2O3·H2O, the Schiff base molecule is approximately planar [within 0.189 (1) Å]. The interplanar angle between the benzene and acetohydrazide planes is 8.50 (10)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by strong and weak O—H⋯O and strong N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The hydroxy H atom deviates from the 4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl mean plane by 0.319 (2) Å, probably due to the involvement of this H atom in the O—H⋯O hydrogen bond. The weak O—H⋯O hydrogen bond is involved in a bifurcated hydrogen bond with R

2(4) motif. A weak C—H⋯π interaction is also present
A note on parallel preconditioning for the all-at-once solution of Riesz fractional diffusion equations
The -step backwards difference formula (BDF) for solving the system of
ODEs can result in a kind of all-at-once linear systems, which are solved via
the parallel-in-time preconditioned Krylov subspace solvers (see McDonald,
Pestana, and Wathen [SIAM J. Sci. Comput., 40(2) (2018): A1012-A1033] and Lin
and Ng [arXiv:2002.01108, 17 pages]. However, these studies ignored that the
-step BDF () is not selfstarting, when they are exploited to solve
time-dependent PDEs. In this note, we focus on the 2-step BDF which is often
superior to the trapezoidal rule for solving the Riesz fractional diffusion
equations, but its resultant all-at-once discretized system is a block
triangular Toeplitz system with a low-rank perturbation. Meanwhile, we first
give an estimation of the condition number of the all-at-once systems and then
adapt the previous work to construct two block circulant (BC) preconditioners.
Both the invertibility of these two BC preconditioners and the eigenvalue
distributions of preconditioned matrices are discussed in details. The
efficient implementation of these BC preconditioners is also presented
especially for handling the computation of dense structured Jacobi matrices.
Finally, numerical experiments involving both the one- and two-dimensional
Riesz fractional diffusion equations are reported to support our theoretical

Full velocities and propagation directions of coronal mass ejections inferred from simultaneous full-disk imaging and Sun-as-a-star spectroscopic observations
Coronal mass ejections (CMEs) are violent ejections of magnetized plasma from
the Sun, which can trigger geomagnetic storms, endanger satellite operations
and destroy electrical infrastructures on the Earth. After systematically
searching Sun-as-a-star spectra observed by the Extreme-ultraviolet Variability
Experiment (EVE) onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) from May 2010 to
May 2022, we identified eight CMEs associated with flares and filament
eruptions by analyzing the blue-wing asymmetry of the O III 52.58 nm line
profiles. Combined with images simultaneously taken by the 30.4 nm channel of
the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly onboard SDO, the full velocity and propagation
direction for each of the eight CMEs are derived. We find a strong correlation
between geomagnetic indices (Kp and Dst) and the angle between the CME
propagation direction and the Sun-Earth line, suggesting that Sun-as-a-star
spectroscopic observations at EUV wavelengths can potentially help to improve
the prediction accuracy of the geoeffectiveness of CMEs. Moreover, an analysis
of synthesized long-exposure Sun-as-a-star spectra implies that it is possible
to detect CMEs from other stars through blue-wing asymmetries or blueshifts of

Anti-tumor activity of N-trimethyl chitosan-encapsulated camptothecin in a mouse melanoma model
<p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Camptothecin (CPT) has recently attracted increasing attention as a promising anticancer agent for a variety of tumors. But the clinical application is largely hampered by its extreme water insolubility and unpredictable side effect. It is essential to establish an efficient and safe protocol for the administration of CPT versus melanoma.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>Camptothecin was encapsulated with N-trimethyl chitosan (CPT-TMC) through microprecipitation and sonication. Its inhibition effect on B16-F10 cell proliferation and induction of apoptosis was evaluated by MTT assay and flow cytometric analysis in vitro. The anti-tumor activity of CPT-TMC was evaluated in C57BL/6 mice bearing B16-F10 melanoma. Tumor volume, tumor weight and survival time were recorded. Assessment of apoptotic cells within tumor tissue was performed by TUNEL assay. Antiangiogenesis and antiproliferation effects of CPT-TMC in vivo were conducted via CD31 and PCNA immunohistochemistry, respectively.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>CPT-TMC efficiently inhibited B16-F10 cells proliferation and increased apoptosis in vitro. Experiment group showed significant inhibition compared with free CPT-treated group (81.3% vs. 56.9%) in the growth of B16-F10 melanoma xenografts and prolonged the survival time of the treated mice (P < 0.05). Decreased cell proliferation, increased tumor apoptosis as well as a reduction in angiogenesis were observed.</p> <p>Conclusions</p> <p>Our data suggest that N-trimethyl chitosan-encapsulated camptothecin is superior to free CPT by overcoming its insolubility and finally raises the potential of its application in melanoma therapy.</p
