Non-thermal Plasma - Nanometer TiO2 Photocatalysis for Formaldehyde Decomposition
In non-thermal plasma-nanometer TiO2 photocatalysis, the techniques of photocatalysis and plasma are combined, and do not need ultraviolet light. It can make use of some kinds of energy in the process of decomposing, while at the same time producing much free hydroxide and improving the efficiency of decomposing. It is regarded as one of the most promising technologies in air cleaning.
A non-thermal plasma-nanometer TiO2 photocatalysis purifier was placed in a stimulant air conditioning room, followed by pumping in a mixture of formaldehyde and air. The purifier was then turned on to carry on the static state experiment of decomposing formaldehyde. The INTERSCAN4160 analysis instrument was adapted to analyze the variety of the formaldehyde density in the room. The fan was turned on in the room to keep the diffusion circulating in the room and alter the velocity of the air and the density for the experiment.
The experiment shows that the efficiency of the decomposing formaldehyde in static state increased up to 90% after the Non-thermal Plasma-Nanometer TiO2 Photocatalysis process. In an air-conditioned room, the purifier can decrease the density of formaldehyde effectively. The concentration increasing effect of decomposing is more promising
H-Dihyperon in Quark Cluster Model
The H dihyperon (DH) is studied in the framework of the SU(3) chiral quark
model. It is shown that except the chiral field, the overall effect of
the other SU(3) chiral fields is destructive in forming a stable DH. The
resultant mass of DH in a three coupled channel calculation is ranged from 2225
to 2234 .Comment: 9 pages, emte
KDM2B/FBXL10 targets c-Fos for ubiquitylation and degradation in response to mitogenic stimulation.
KDM2B (also known as FBXL10) controls stem cell self-renewal, somatic cell reprogramming and senescence, and tumorigenesis. KDM2B contains multiple functional domains, including a JmjC domain that catalyzes H3K36 demethylation and a CxxC zinc-finger that recognizes CpG islands and recruits the polycomb repressive complex 1. Here, we report that KDM2B, via its F-box domain, functions as a subunit of the CUL1-RING ubiquitin ligase (CRL1/SCF(KDM2B)) complex. KDM2B targets c-Fos for polyubiquitylation and regulates c-Fos protein levels. Unlike the phosphorylation of other SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box)/CRL1 substrates that promotes substrates binding to F-box, epidermal growth factor (EGF)-induced c-Fos S374 phosphorylation dissociates c-Fos from KDM2B and stabilizes c-Fos protein. Non-phosphorylatable and phosphomimetic mutations at S374 result in c-Fos protein which cannot be induced by EGF or accumulates constitutively and lead to decreased or increased cell proliferation, respectively. Multiple tumor-derived KDM2B mutations impaired the function of KDM2B to target c-Fos degradation and to suppress cell proliferation. These results reveal a novel function of KDM2B in the negative regulation of cell proliferation by assembling an E3 ligase to targeting c-Fos protein degradation that is antagonized by mitogenic stimulations
Dust-to-gas ratio, factor and CO-dark gas in the Galactic anticentre: an observational study
We investigate the correlation between extinction and H~{\sc i} and CO
emission at intermediate and high Galactic latitudes (|b|>10\degr) within the
footprint of the Xuyi Schmidt Telescope Photometric Survey of the Galactic
anticentre (XSTPS-GAC) on small and large scales. In Paper I (Chen et al.
2014), we present a three-dimensional dust extinction map within the footprint
of XSTPS-GAC, covering a sky area of over 6,000\,deg at a spatial angular
resolution of 6\,arcmin. In the current work, the map is combined with data
from gas tracers, including H~{\sc i} data from the Galactic Arecibo L-band
Feed Array H~{\sc i} survey and CO data from the Planck mission, to constrain
the values of dust-to-gas ratio and CO-to-
conversion factor for the entire GAC
footprint excluding the Galactic plane, as well as for selected star-forming
regions (such as the Orion, Taurus and Perseus clouds) and a region of diffuse
gas in the northern Galactic hemisphere. For the whole GAC footprint, we find
\, and \,. We have also
investigated the distribution of "CO-dark" gas (DG) within the footprint of GAC
and found a linear correlation between the DG column density and the -band
extinction: . The mass fraction of DG is found to be toward
the Galactic anticentre, which is respectively about 23 and 124 per cent of the
atomic and CO-traced molecular gas in the same region. This result is
consistent with the theoretical work of Papadopoulos et al. but much larger
than that expected in the cloud models by Wolfire et al.Comment: 11 pages, 7 figures, accepted for publication in MNRA
Recovering Container Class Types in C++ Binaries
We present TIARA, a novel approach to recovering container classes in c++ binaries. Given a variable address in a c++ binary, TIARA first applies a new type-relevant slicing algorithm incorporated with a decay function, TSLICE, to obtain an inter-procedural forward slice of instructions expressed as a CFG to summarize how the variable is used in the binary (as our primary contribution). TIARA then makes use of a GCN (Graph Convolutional Network) to learn and predict the container type for the variable (as our secondary contribution). According to our evaluation, TIARA can advance the state of the art in inferring commonly used container types in a set of eight large real-world COTS c++ binaries efficiently (in terms of the overall analysis time) and effectively (in terms of precision, recall and F1 score)
The upper critical field and its anisotropy in LiFeAs
The upper critical field of LiFeAs single crystals has
been determined by measuring the electrical resistivity using the facilities of
pulsed magnetic field at Los Alamos. We found that of LiFeAs
shows a moderate anisotropy among the layered iron-based superconductors; its
anisotropic parameter monotonically decreases with decreasing
temperature and approaches as . The upper
critical field reaches 15T () and 24.2T () at
1.4K, which value is much smaller than other iron-based high
superconductors. The temperature dependence of can be
described by the Werthamer-Helfand-Hohenberg (WHH) method, showing orbitally
and (likely) spin-paramagnetically limited upper critical field for and , respectively.Comment: 5 pages,5 figure
