    Linux-Based Access Point Dalam Wireless LAN

    Technology 802.11 which more known as WiFi, have started to become the cablereplacement technology especially in local network so-called Wireless LAN. Mostly Wireless LAN use the Infrastructure topology, which require uses of one or more Access Points as the communication center of Mobile Stations. Existence of a high quality Access Point is an important factor to determine the quality of Wireless LAN performance. Besides using Access Point that made in factory, Access Point can be custom-built by using PC provided with Linux OS, Wireless Adapter and certain System Configuration. This type of Access Point named Linux-Based Access Point. Making of Linux-Based Access Point requires the basic knowledges of wireless and computer network. Standard feature which can be given in a Linux-Based Access Point is Gateway Router and DHCP Server. The base concept in the making of Linux-Based Access Point is the utilization of wireless adapter as Access Point Master, and also involves some command of Linux Wireless Extention utilities for detail wireless adapter configuration.     Analisis Algoritma Round Robin, Least Connection, Dan Ratio Pada Load Balancing Menggunakan Opnet Modeler

    Load balancing is a technique to distribute traffic load into two or more lanes to reach balanced connection, optimized traffic performance, maximized data throughput, minimized delay, and avoiding data overload. Load balancing in a computer network used to modulate the balance of bandwidth USAge between multiple internet service provider. This research contains Load Balancing performance test on HTTP, FTP, and VoIP. Testing application used is OPNET Modeler 14.5 simulator, and load balancing algorithm which being tested is Least Connection, Round Robin, and Ratio. The test results shows generally Ratio is better than Least Connection and Round Robin. Ratio excels on handling End-to-End Delay and Jitter in VoIP, while Least Conncetion shows the highest throughput value in all test cases

    Movie theater is one of the most visited entertaintment place. A ticket is surely needed for every person in order to watch movie in a theater. Ticket usually available on theater’s ticket counter. Moviegoer often has to wait in long queues to buy ticket, they need a system that can help them to reserve ticket easier and quicker while also displaying movie's information appropriately. An online mobile application is developed to respond those problems, this mobile application for movie's ticket reservations can be operated in any mobile device which uses Android Operating System. Web services is used for data exchanging between server and the mobile application. As a respond for the conventional ticket reservation’s problems, the mobile application can help moviegoers to buy tickets anywhere and anytime, as long as internet access is available
